Flimsy poor quality frames

Delivery was pretty quick, less than 2 weeks. However the frames and arms seem pretty cheap and nasty. The prescription aspect seems OK as my distance vision is improved. I bought the motorcycle glasses, but can’t really use them for this purpose because the frames and arms are too bulky and won’t fit inside my open face helmet comfortably. Also I hadn’t realised the lenses come in two parts - one outer generic cover, with little prescription lenses inside. I wouldn’t buy again. Luckily they weren’t too expensive.

Good product but appalling customer service

I ordered the Hunter prescription glasses, because I liked the look of them and the reviews on their website were pretty good. Then I went to check the reviews on trustpilot and I instantly regretted that I already bought them. I placed the order and I had no response for the next week and a half, so I decided to contact them and cancel the order. I got a reply after two days that the order has been shipped and they can't do a refund (I wasn't expecting any given my experience with Chinese companies). I have received a tracking link and then came another week and some waiting for the order to arrive. I have to say, the item itself is brilliant. The glasses are superb and better quality than I was expecting for that amount of money. Prescription is spot on. Overall I would be very happy, if it wasn't for really bad customer service. If they fixed that and somehow shorten delivery time, I'd be buying from them all the time I need new glasses. I understand others had worse dealings with them, some had better, but I was sceptical in the beginning and now I think I'd be leaning towards buying my next pair from them, but adjust my expectations for delivery time to about a month with no contact. For £40 it's a risk I'm willing to take.

No communication

Very clever at being poor, website good but once you order they are shocking. They don't confirm what you have ordered so when your glasses are delivered a month later you don't know if it is correct or not. The email received after you order just directs you to their website, no order number , order info etc. In summary, poor communication and long lead times. Avoid

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

Do not buy from them the quality is really poor as is the customer service. My order came with the wrong perscription but they would not believe me. Then asked me to take them to my own ophthalmologist to get then checked. Sent me a return address in China that would cost me more to return than the cost of the glasses.

If anything goes wrong with your order…

If anything goes wrong with your order they will refuse to refund you. Even if your order is broken and unusable they will only offer a small partial refund. Absolutely stay away from them

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star

I wouldn’t even give optical factor 1 star. Ordered my husband glasses from them. Said we would receive them by august 8th. It’s a month later and we still haven’t received the glasses. Try contacting the postal service to be told the tracking number is invalid. Worst optical place I’ve ever dealt with.

Please do not order from OPTICAL…

Please do not order from OPTICAL FACTOR. As I'm writing this, I have lost roughly a $100 from placing an order for a simple Googles that would likely cost me less at other stores. I have been trying to get in contact with their customer service, which is none existent, to no avail. An automated or seem to be automated answer is all I got. Order placed last month and still nothing. Stay away or you will spend days trying to recup the funds that will never be refunded.

Appalling state of affairs

Appalling state of affairs. Ordered and sent my prescription. Glasses took 7 weeks to arrive.
Glasses arrived and were cheap and useless. I couldn't see through the lens. I contacted them to ask for a refund. What followed was around 20 or more back and forth e mails. They lied about certain things during our conversations. Refused to refund. They ignore my very clear questions and simply do not answer but come back with more avoidance. Finally, they have offered 50%. I wait to see if I will get it. They asked if I would accept 50% as a refund and i declined. They then went ahead and told me it is what I am getting. No agreements whatsoever. The absolute worse company I have ever dealt with.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Optical Factor. I ordered glasses and frames that I carefully chose, but what I received was not what I paid for. The frames were the wrong shape and style, yet when I pointed this out, instead of acknowledging the mistake, they tried to gaslight me into believing they had sent the correct ones.
It was frustrating to deal with the lack of honesty. Rather than working with me to resolve the issue, they stood by their error and refused to provide a refund or replacement. This shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and accountability.

Frame cracked IN THE CASE; poor CS experience

Ordered a pair of sweep cycling sunglasses with prescription inserts. Tried them on once, then put them in their included case. Took them out three weeks later: the frame holding the left prescription lens had cracked, making the entire set unusable. Very low quality. Contacted customer service, who first requested a photo, then suggested they remake the frame. I declined, due to low quality, and requested a refund. They then suggested I pick a different frame. I told them they don’t offer anything else that fits my needs. They then emailed AGAIN suggesting I pick a different frame. I responded again that nothing else they offer fits my needs. I’m not optimistic that I’ll get a refund. (I’ve since bought a pair of sunglasses that fit over my progressive frames, from a different vendor. A better solution for 1/6 the price.)

DO NOT ORDER FROM OPTICAL FACTOR. Wish this would let me upload a photo. My lense was made crooked and keeps popping out. Send email to customer service and they won't swap for me. Said I need to order another pair even though I sent photos to document what is happening. They don't care. Do not waste your money on this.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. Lenses are junk. It's like looking through a fishbowl. After-sales service is non-existent. All this after waiting forever for delivery, without any communication from the company regarding order status, tracking, etc. Never again.

Delighted.

Ordered two pairs of glasses from the site, left a note with a specific requirement, they emailed to check, glasses were made and dispatched.
Took about 10-14 days to arrive from the other side of the planet, but given the overall cost, they were worth waiting for. I've been wearing these since I received them, and would not hesitate to order again. I'm sorry that it appears not everyone had the same experience.

I just got my glasses and tried them…

I just got my glasses and tried them on. I am glad I read all the bad reviews after I ordered them. Not sure if I love them, but I surely don't hate them. I feel like they were worth the money. As far as the ordering and delivery, I have no complaints.

This is the worst company to buy from I…

This is the worst company to buy from I received my glasses and they sat 1 inch above my nose. They told me to eat them and they would give me 40%off another pair. The glasses are cheaply made very thin frames and customer service is the worst ever. Do yourself a favor and buy from Googles 4u or Glassesusa Muukal optica as they bend over backwards to help you.

Buyer Beware - Poor Quality & Won't Honor Return Policy

Product quality is very poor, even considering the price. To make it worse, they use a self-serving interpretation of their return policy. Despite multiple attempts to return glasses that I cannot see out of, they simply continue to insist that they are ok and made properly. Which, makes it worse. If these are indeed the correct prescription, then the lens quality has to be incredibly bad. Do not waste your time and money on Optical Factor.

Terrible quality and no response from seller

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses online from Optical Factor the same day that I ordered 1 pair from California Glasses online while waiting for slow delivery from my optometrist. With the same prescription, the two pairs from Optical Factor are unusable and look so distorted that it looks like viewing through a fish bowl. I tried to contact them with no response and I left a review on their site but the reviews are screened by their admin. It is no wonder there are.no negative reviews there.
