I bought 2 pairs of expensive Gabe prescription sunglasses. The frames of the first pair cracked so l purchased a second pair which shockingly cracked and broke in 3 places after only 2 DAYS while l was wearing them in the sun.
They wanted payment for a replacement pair on the basis that they only provide a 2 Month warranty.
●Why would l pay for a third pair !
●Why doesn't their web site show any 1 star reviews ?

Oh how I wish I had never ordered from this place.
First, it took over 1 month to receive.
Then coming from China, the 2 pair of prescription glassed were damaged.
I have sent many emails and each time after 4 or 5 days they write back asking if I would accept replacements.
When I answer no I would like a return label and my money back after several days they ask if I would like replacements.
Now over 1 month has past and they are not responding-I am stuck.

I bought 2 curved frames with Prescriptions Progressive lenses and they are blurry when rotating from close to far. They would not accept that their lenses are bad and keep asking for more verifications( I sent them my prescription picture and my prior curved frame) but they still insist that the lenses are good. For almost 3 weeks their customer services approach through email was annoying, frustrating and a lot of back and forth. I purchase another pair from Firmoo company and their lenses and frame are to notch. Wont do business with them again....

Bought a prescription pair of sunglasses from optical factor in Feb 2026, by the first week of May the frames broke. Also ever notice on their own web site there are no 1 or 2 star reviews. I should have researched more before buying from this company.

DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
1 star is too good
There products are very poor quality. I purchased cycling glasses with prescription inserts.
1 insert when fitted was not level
2 transition between long and short sight so blurred to be a dangerous distraction
3 insert were squeezed against the front lens and would pop out at the slightest touch
4 don't bother trying to get a refund, they just give you the run around

Incredibly poor quality goods arrived. Lenses didn't fit in the frames of the sunglasses, you can see gaps between the lens and cheap frames. I put them in the bin. I will never use these con merchants again. I wish I checked reviews before buying from them.

Take forever and cheap feeling
I don’t know if the reviews are carefully curated as all on here are quite negative but on website all positive, but for me took ages to arrive and were not great. Order was incorrect. They don’t accept returns and offer a small discount if you buy another pair to replace the incorrect ones. Best avoided.

First of all, their own store reviews must be looked over by a shop admin. No wonder their actual website doesn't show all the 1 stars that Google shows.

On the actual issue, I typed up a fairly strong prescription and had no issues at checkout. After over a month with no word on shipping, I reached out. They wanted me to lower the prescription. How is one supposed to see properly with the wrong prescription lenses? I had to ask twice for a refund.

This business practices fradulent activities. I placed an order on march 14th, it was showing is being shipped till it stopped moving on march 27th inside US. I finally contacted them on April 20th. They replied with some ridiculous lie about me submitting different numbers that I entered than were on prescription that I scanned, so instead of my order they offer 35% off my next order. This is fraud. 1st I did not make any mistakes. 2nd even if I would have made the mistake, it would not have mattered. Since I uploaded the prescription they had the numbers they could have used. But they sent tracking number which showed it a shipping for almost a month, what exactly was being shipped if they could not make my order and why didn't they contact me before. It's all lie all fraud do not trust this business

It takes two weeks to arrive and the glasses are very cheap. I've tried two pairs of a robust sports frame and they both broke very easily. Its a waste of time and money

Today, I received a pair of "prescription" eyeglass frames I ordered from this company. The style of the frame is the Defendr Prescription ANSI Z87.1 Safety Glasses. I bought them at a discount and was elated by my purchase. The glasses which were mailed from China look and feel cheap. I am almost certain that they are not constructed to hold prescription lenses. Definitely shoddy craftsmanship.

Received the wrong prescription. Requested refund or replacement and have not received any resolution

One of the glasses from my original order made me dizzy and off focus, Optical Factor quickly find solution to solve the problem.

You definitely can trust them with your glasses!

To be honest I was a little worried after placing my order, and then reading the reviews on here,

I paid £23 including shipping for some prescription safety glasses

They arrived here in the UK only 9 days later!

The prescription in them is spot on, across the whole lens too (I read one review where only part of the lens was the correct prescription?)

I wear designer glasses as my everyday and yes, these do feel a little cheaper than them, however they feel just as good, if not better quality than just about every high street opticians own brand range,

Spot on to be honest, now I can tinker with dangerous power tools and not worry about ruining my everyday wear lenses, like I have done in the past

Don’t waste your money. They delivered a pair of prescription glasses that were not remotely close to my prescription. Asked for a refund and I’m on my 6th email exchange giving me the runaround. They said I should wear them to make sure they are not correct, but doing so would be like looking through coke bottles and probably cause extreme eye strain. Again, don’t waste your money.

Never showed up after 16 days of waiting. Fraud.

Another excellent dealing with Optical Factors, my second time purchasing. 2 x pairs of safety glasses this time, with progressive lenses. Excellent product, received in New Zealand within about 10 days . And the real test .... one pair (only) had a fault. My email got a quick response and a very satisfactory solution. I'm very happy to recommend OpticalFactors.
