Michelle Kitchingman

Michelle Kitchingman showed lack of interest in sorting out incorrect paperwork. Opuslip refused to properly investigate a clear pay discrepancy, despite being provided with a letter from the CEO of WISH confirming an agreed salary uplift. This increase aligned with my April 2025 payslip, yet Michelle dismissed the evidence without adequate consideration. The handling of this issue was disappointing and unprofessional—overall, a very poor experience from start to finish.

They do everything wrong

They do everything wrong, dont answer emails or calls and have absolute messed 30 staff members who got laid off over.

HMRC insolvency have said they didnt file documents for our wages on time now we basically have to deal with it ourself because they arent answering calls or emails.

Additionally, they got all of our holiday days owed wrong as well. PRIME example of a business that is quick to take money but dont deliver on clear precise deliverables.

They will mess with you, do not hand them your money at all.

Ongoing Experience with Opus – Lack of Transparency and Communication

I am currently working with Opus in relation to a receivership case and have agreed to cooperate fully in the sale of the property involved. No court proceedings or enforcement action have been required — this is a cooperative resolution in which I have personally handled the majority of communications with the lender, provided all supporting documentation, and offered regular updates.

Despite this, and after several weeks of emails and calls, I am yet to receive an updated breakdown of the actual costs on account. I have repeatedly requested this clarity in order to move forward and arrange payment or resolution, but responses have either been delayed or lacking in detail.

More concerningly, I have now been advised of a potential 3% fee based on the sale price, which could exceed £25,000. This is being presented despite previous indications that the fee would be around £3,000. I do not agree with this approach, especially given that the workload and outcome (clearing arrears cooperatively) would be the same regardless of whether I sell the property myself or repay the debt via other means.

It now feels as though I am being pressured into a sale under the threat of disproportionately high fees, which I believe does not reflect the spirit of our cooperation nor the actual work required in my case.

I will update this review once the matter is resolved, and I remain hopeful that Opus will take the opportunity to engage transparently and fairly. For now, I feel it’s important to share this experience for the benefit of others
