Had my first call with OrangeTrail and honestly it went really well, so I booked the onboarding call right after. They told me they'd analyze my business first and then decide if I pay 3% of spend or 5% if it's "high risk". That already felt a bit off to me because if I wasn't in a high risk niche I wouldn't need an agency account in the first place lol. Anyway, surprise surprise, they put me in the high risk category (was obvious from the start).
So I paid in like normal, plus the 5% plus a fixed fee of around $500 per month. A few days after launching TikTok ads I got the first rejections, so I reached out and asked them to take a look. Gave them everything, ad IDs, all the info about the ads etc. Nobody took care of it for days.
The internal organization is a mess and on weekends they don't work at all. No idea how they think that works, online businesses and ads run on weekends too and stuff can happen anytime (ad rejections for example). If you're paying that much you'd expect someone to actually be there when something goes wrong.
Then I wrote in Slack that I want to cancel and explained my reasons. Next day I got kicked out of the Slack. No heads up, no info, not even an email. They restricted my ad account of course, which still had some balance on it, but the monthly fee I have to pay every month? Obviously not cancelled. Extremely shady.
I wouldn't recommend this company under any circumstances.
