Steve at Orbis handled my post booking request for extra baggage and seats together very professionally. I recommend booking with Orbis Travel.

For our first travel agency booking, I found so much material that I couldn't understand. However, I found Steve in Admin - what a diamond. He has helped us through the minefield of stuff which has relieved me of a load of pressure and allowed me to look forward to my holiday. We could be back next year.

Thanks to George Smith at Orbis, we had a lovely holiday in Malta and Sicily. Our itinerary from Canada was a bit complicated, as it involved a total of five flights, four hotels, two ferries and an intercity bus. But we were pleasantly surprised to find that everything went like clockwork. The transportation was comfortable and on time, boarding passes appeared effortlessly on my phone, hotels were 4-star and in good locations. Orbis customer service is amazing (you call or email and you get an answer right away!) and George was unfailingly patient and polite and went out of his way to accommodate our particular situation. I would use Orbis again, and I would specifically ask for George!

I used Orbis to booked our 2 week vacay to Greece for 4 adults. We worked with Clive. The process was transparent & customer focused. All of the accommodations were exactly as described & exceeded our expectations upon arrival. I recommend for anyone inexperienced with booking their own travel or if you simply wish to pass that work to someone else.

I was very impressed by the service from the rep, George, who was very polite, considerate, and worked hard for customers with patience.
My itinerary was a bit complicated, so we had to change the order of the locations we visited. He tried to find the best and convenient way for us to travel.
Also, we wanted to change the hotels in Rome and Malta. He understood our concerns and made an effort to accommodate our request.
I will contact him again about the next trip.

My experience with this agency was extremely poor. I did not receive the complete package as was detailed in my confirmation forms and thus was overcharged. Despite asking multiple times, the agent refused to provide any breakdown of the charges—even though the confirmation documents clearly showed the mistake. He also offered no compensation for the error or the inconvenience it caused. To make matters worse, he repeatedly promised to call back and never did.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this agency and strongly advise others to double-check all charges and documentation.

Why 5 stars? Service; service; service. I had an issue with my travel insurance and needed documentation from Orbis. Nothing was too much trouble. Robert was fast, efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. I can only give Orbis the highest praise.

Simon Brown at Orbis was incredible to work with. He helped us plan an amazing trip through Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore, offering plenty of great options and expert advice along the way. He was very flexible and let us tailor every part of the trip to our preferences. Thanks again Simon!

The booking and documents (boarding passes, train and transfer vouchers) issuing went smoothly. Steve was helpful throughout. Highly recommend Orbis Travels for booking your holidays.

Orbis planned a great vacation for us (we're still on it). During the vacation one of our flights was cancelled unexpectedly which caused us some alarm. We called Steve, an Orbis support rep, and he quickly sourced and alternative solution and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation again. Steve provided a calming presence and worked to ensure everything was sorted out. He also checked in the following day to ensure the new solution was working well. Bravo, Steve.

Update: Our anticipated refund for the cancelled flight became a protracted, frustrating and unsatisfactory experience. After 4 months of multiple calls and emails to Orbis, we eventually settled for a reimbursement for the taxi that replaced the cancelled flight. I have no doubt the taxi was significantly cheaper than the flight we originally bought from Orbis. However, Orbis would not be transparent about the original flight costs, so we don't know how much of our money we got back. While we recognise that Orbis charges for their services, the lack of transparency around the flight costs exacerbated our increasing lack of trust in the company, thus the reduced star rating. We will not use Orbis again.
