Bought a 3D printer part from the UK for 143.86 pounds and was shipped with Fedex. Expected to pay 40 Euro for duty/import fee and perhaps a small 20Euro fee for brokerage fee... got instead a list of 7 different charges from Orbit with a total cost of 179.2 Euro to get my item. The costs are evidently the results of creative arithmetic as for example Duties and Taxes were rounded up to exactly 50.0 Euro (how this is even possible). This is a legit scam and won't pay for it. And this is a first time something like this happens to me in years of importing stuff either here in Greece or in Italy (where I used to live before)...

Absolutely atrocious and incompetent service levels. Shipment via FedEx required customs clearance but no information provided what to do, who to contact, what is the process, next steps etc. Dysfunctional phone system and website that wants you start to crying. Despite getting in contact within the 5 day deadline they did nothing to assist to hold the shipment from being returned to sender. Please beware - these clowns do not know what customer service is. Stay clear doing business with FedEx Customs Orbit couriers. You have been warned.

They are a bunch of scam artists praying on people needing their parcel. Exorbitant imports charges (How this can be even legal!?) Do not use Fedex or TNT ordering something outside EU for Greece.

A friend of mine bought me a gift from outside of the EU, which cost around 30€ and orbitcouriers threatened him that they would destroy the gift unless he paid them 110€

Orbit Couriers are working alongside FedEx. I paid FedEx for door to door delivery, UK to Greece.
FedEx passed my €50 parcel to their sister company that share a unit at Athens airport.
Orbit held my parcel and asked for €129.88 to release it. Only €30 customs was payable.
€99.88 was Orbits charges. I contacted FedEx CEO and Orbit CEO by email and didn’t get a reply.
