I have lost more than 2.000 $ worth of …

I have lost more than 2.000 $ worth of Fifa-coins! It is probably the most frustrating experince I have ever encountered with a business. This is a billion dollar company which does not listen, act nor nurce the same customers which put them up there in the first place. Here's my story. I got hacked - lost it all - and did not get reimbursed:

Started to play Fifa 17 - FUT in february 2017. As I got more and more commited to the game, I began to use a waste amount of my money to buy Fifa-points, which is used for packs with players - which again can be sold on the games transfer market - which provides You with the Fifa-coins, that enables You to buy the exact players You want for Your team. As I got a bit frustrated along the way due to the rarity of special players (high value) in the packs, I unintendedly comitted a crime. I bought fifa-coins from (I thought) a trustworthy website. The website fifacoin.com seemed to be a legitimate site, but as the transfer of coins was under way, I got a warning from EA Games, I tried to stop the transfer but it was to late, and I was suspended for a short time as all my funds were seased. Now this were a fair consequence as I supposely violated the terms of service provided by EA Games, though I morned the loss of my coins. I wrote a long feedback on Trustpilot warning everyone from using non-legitimate sites offering a short cut for fifa coins, and actually exscused my actions to EA Games - though I did not do it on purpose.

In the following months I used more than 2.400 $ equivalent to 2.150 € on the game buying fifa-points in order to make my ultimate team. I used arround 6 hours a day on the game - and managed to make a "192" team, which is pretty amazing. On the 12th of May I got a message on my Playstation from EA Games - at least so I thought. "They recognised the amount of money and the amount of time, I had spend on the game. They would therefor like to offer me a free player of choice". Happy days! I immediately logged on to the rewardsite - as instructed on the PS-message. First my login and then the answer to my security question. Nothing happend exept a blank page with error 404. The next day i called the danish EA Games helpdesk, as I had noticed, that the security code to EA games no longer was sent to my phone but to a Romanian phonenumber. I also got a message from Google reporting a breach attempt to my e-mail. The danish EA Helpdesk guided me the next two days as the Rumanian number kept resurfacing on my account, and the EA system for some reason wouldn't allow my to change the number back to my danish number. It just kept telling me: "Too many attempts - try again later." As I started my Playstation on day 3 EVERYTHING was lost. All my "TOTY-players" - ALL OF THEM! I imediately called the danish EA Helpdesk, and they looked into my account. They told me, that they should have guided me to change the security question the day before - when i called - on my Playstation as well as on my EA account. They didn't and they admitted that this was entirely their fault! Though I was a little bit frustrated, I accepted the apology, as I was kean to look forward, and get this done with, in order to get my team and players back - which I was told several times that I didn't need to worry about.

Okay - so here we are. Welcome to the end of a long story: The last 20 days has gone with a waste ammount of calls, emails and frustrating rejections. The danish EA Helpdesk (which has tried to help me in any way) can see that my account has been hacked. As they told me: "Unless You can travel in time - it is impossible to log in to your account from several parts of the world within this short amount of time." Okay - so it is apparantly obvious for EA Games, that I have been hacked (remember my Google e-mail also was breeched). So what are the concerns then, since EA Games will not aknowledge my claim? The only way I see is, that they either suspect that I sold my account to someone or that They just won't dig into the matter, because I was found "guilty" with buying fifa coins one time outside the game months ago. If It's the first matter... Why would I contact the EA Helpdesk two days before I was hacked if it was my intention to sell my account the day after and therefor attract EA's focus to my account? Secondly - the Danish Helpdesk actually admitted to not having guided me correctly in order to charge my security question the day before the hacking took place - which they should have. If it is the question about me having violated the terms before... If you decide to give one a second chance, You really can't punish a customer for it later on, when the same customer is subject to external hacking.

I can off course document the whole correspondance with the "fake EA Helpdesk" - the "fake rewardsite" - and I have the sympathy and backup from the danish helpdesk/department - for whom it is obvious, that I am telling the Truth. Apparently this does not matter. The main servicecenter which handles these types of requests will not listen nor aknowledge the situation.

Me? I am a 46 year old policeofficer. I am not a criminal and this FUT-account is for my 8 year old son - who loves football.

What to do?
