Beautiful chairs for a great price and already much-admired. Very good communication over delivery. Great that Original Homewares make the sustainable option so easy.

My fourth (and counting!) purchase from Original Homewares - this time a beautiful Danish armchair, in great condition matching the online description, and delivered promptly and well-packaged as always. These days if I need a piece of furniture Original Homewares is my first port of call. Top quality, stylish pieces with history, often the same price or less than mass-produced pieces from the big stores. It's a no-brainer! Anyone worried about buying antique furniture online can safely put concerns aside; you are in great hands with Karl and Rachel, who go above and beyond in terms of customer service. I have recommended to many friends and will continue to do so!

Original Homewares have a carefully curated range of mainly mid century furniture and lighting.
I was delighted to find a small arm chair for sale.
The chair is better than expected, beautiful soft buttery leather, perfect condition with the patina of age it should have.
It came carefully packaged, with a thoughtful hand written note proving information about the chair’s designer.
Based on my experience, I recommend Original Homewares without a moments hesitation and would certainly buy from them again.

As always, liaising with and purchasing from Rachel and Karl is seamless. We have many items from them in our mid-century home: lighting, seating, table, sideboards. All were in excellent condition and are much admired. Original Homewares is always our first port-of-call when looking for new items, and never disappoints. 100% recommended. Once again, Rachel and Karl have provided us with the perfect writing desk to complete a corner space in our upstairs library / spare bedroom. We happily are repeat customers for their thoughtful selection of reasonably priced mid-century furniture that’s much better made (and more functional and comfortable) than buying brand new. Very good customer service + prompt delivery. Can’t fault them, they’re good at what they do.

Good communication and delivery arrangements

I'm finally getting around to write a review, after having purchased multiple items by now.

We had dining chairs, a dining table, a dresser, a small side board and the latest edition was a small cabinet that slotted in perfectly where we wanted it to go.

The quality is always excellent and when the items arrive they look even better then on the pictures.

The communication with Rachel is always quick and super easy. LOVE buying from them - as we know what we can expect - Perfect Vintage Furniture!

Really good service from this company. They answered questions that I had quickly and clearly. Local delivery was arranged within a few days and when they arrived they went over and above to get my beautiful new dining table in.

Fantastic experience buying through Rachel and Karl - they were responsive to my queries about dimensions and promptly arranged delivery when I made my purchase. We had an issue that one of the items we bought suffered a very small damage in transport (we couldn't identify if it was caused by the courier, or us in the unwrapping of the item), and they were amazing, sending us the materials to affect a repair, along with an instructional video. The piece is now all fixed and looks fantastic. I would highly recommend Original Homewares, both for the lovely items they sell, and the great customer service
