I own the lumbarcloud and is the best mattress I ever had, is sooo comfortable I honestly recommend to anyone who suffers for back pain.

Mattress came apart at the seems and then was told it would be replaced as a gesture of goodwill! Not under the warranty, sent pictures to show it was like it in multiple areas of the mattress but still the same answer. Sent it back under the 200 night policy or whatever the number is, glad to send it back, wasn’t worth the money, cheaper Simba is far more comfortable

At first glance Origin Mattress UK looks all good. They've certainly paid good money for the advertising and marketing, but UK? I don't think so.
All contact has to be done via email, no phone numbers and don't expect a same day reply.
The product itself was ok. We were looking for a firm mattress and their flagship product seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately after about a month we decided it was a bit too soft if anything so we exercised our right to return. All pretty good so far. I also have to give the firm credit for paying me about 10% refund for failing to deliver on the date promised (they offered 5% but were ok with my counter suggestion of 10%).
However, when we decided to return it they wanted a bit of detail and pictures (which is reasonable) one of the items they wanted a picture of was the fire safety label......ours didn't have one and they funnily enough didn't question this. The refund was duly processed and sent to my bank, minus the late delivery refund and £59 removal fee (not mentioned anywhere in the marketing bumf) They also wanted their free pillows back or I could keep them for £95 each!!! They got them back. Having paid way over the top for one of their mattress protectors already I didn't think a short £200 for a set of pillows was really worth it.
All that glistens isn't gold.

My old mattress been picked up, but new one hasnt arrived. Now Im forced to sleep with my toddler on the floor. Cant contact anyone immediatly. After spending 1.3k its frustraiting and not what I was expecting.

It was extremely easy to place an order, and I was very impressed with the next day delivery. The firm even responded to my questions on Facebook. The two guys carried the mattress upstairs, and took the old one away as well as taking the cardboard packaging away.
The mattress is BRILLIANT. It's wonderfully comfortable- as are the included pillows, and I'm so glad that I finally bought. I'd been debating for several weeks beforehand. I'm enjoying the best sleep ever.

🚩 RED FLAG #1: I purchased an Origin Hybrid mattress in September 2025. Within nine months of completely normal household use, it developed extensive scorching and discolouration across a large area of the surface — after using nothing more than a standard Dreamland heated mattress cover during winter. The exact same brand of cover I've used on previous mattresses for years without a single issue.

🚩 RED FLAG #2: When I raised a formal complaint under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Origin sent me the SAME scripted denial THREE TIMES. Every single reply ignored my actual legal claim and instead hid behind warranty exclusions and a 200-night trial period — neither of which applied to my case. Not once did they provide any actual evidence: no inspection, no assessor, no explanation, nothing. Just "external/accidental damage" repeated like a broken record, no matter what I said back.

🚩 RED FLAG #3: Zero accountability. Zero investigation. Zero willingness to engage with a legitimate, well-documented consumer rights claim.
I no longer trust the quality of this product or this company, full stop. I'm not asking for a replacement — I want nothing more to do with this brand. I'm now pursuing a refund through my bank instead, because Origin made it abundantly clear they will not do the right thing voluntarily.
If you're thinking about buying from Origin: know exactly what you're risking. If anything goes wrong, this is the treatment you'll get.

What's particularly concerning is their 15-year warranty If this is how they handle a straightforward quality issue within the first year — with zero investigation, scripted denials, and refusal to engage — what confidence can you possibly have that they'll honour that "15-year Warranty" if something goes wrong down the line? Their handling of my complaint suggests their warranty is more marketing than protection.
