BAD CIE, it,s very complicate, no return !!! no awnser, !!!
Their return policy is harsh and not logical. I think it’s simply a cash grab.
When I contacted customer service, they said that we could talk about it and set up a phone call with me. Then they no showed on the phone call and ghosted me on my next 4
nicely worded, polite emails.
I will never buy from them again.
I purchased a pair of Ortho Med compression open-toed knee highs after both my husband and I carefully measured my legs up to my knees. I was eagerly waiting to receive them, as Ortho Med advertised as the number 1 provider of compression stockings. When they arrived, I used the glide to attempt to put them on, but to no avail. They resisted and fought with me. I got hole no. 1. They pooled in the ankle, and I could not get them up. They cut off my circulation. They did not adequately fit me at all. I got hole no. 2. I was so frustrated, my husband tried to help me and no luck. This was not my first experience with compression knee highs so I was at a loss as to why they did not fit. The size was large and the last time I had ordered they were a large and I had no problem putting them on by a competing company. I gave up. It was an exercise of frustration and sheer disappointment. I contacted the company the following week and asked for a refund and they never responded. So much for customer service. It is non-existent.
WHAAAAAT A JOKE! This company is horrible! Take your money somewhere else!!!!!!!! 0 star! Cx service sucks as well
I was advised by my physiotherapist to purchase an ankle and ligament brace without laces, in a figure-8 style. Unfortunately, I ended up buying the wrong item. When I received my order, I was surprised to see that no invoice was included, which is unusual. Whenever you make a purchase—no matter where—you are supposed to receive an invoice detailing the transaction and seller information.
I requested my invoice, assuming it may have simply been forgotten, as I am currently going through a legal process with the city regarding my injury. I have no insurance, but I still needed the invoice for legal purposes.
After my physiotherapist confirmed that the brace I received was not appropriate for my injury or the stage of my recovery, I requested a return and refund. However, Orthomed Canada is refusing to refund the $329 I paid, or even exchange the product for the correct one. They are claiming that because I asked for an "insurance invoice," I now need to provide proof that I won’t be submitting a claim to my insurance provider.
How am I supposed to obtain proof from an insurance company that I don’t have? I simply asked for an invoice because, to my understanding, it is legally required in Canada for any business to provide an invoice to customers upon purchase.
I absolutely do not recommend this company. In my experience, they have acted dishonestly and in bad faith.
0 customer service. Their return policy is a joke. Good luck to anyone who purchases items from this company.
I would not even give one star. They are the worse. I wish i had checked reviews before placing order. For compression socks the material is such low quality and when i wanted to return it, they apparently placed my product under 5 day return policy. The cx service is as pathetic as the process to deal with them
Paid for the fastest shipping possible. They only just created the shipping label 1 week later. What good is overnight shipping if they are taking 1 full week to send it out. Major piss off as I’m waiting for the braces until I can get back out doing any of my hobbies/work
It being medical equipment I expected at least compatince. Paid extra for "1-4 business days shipping". Lies. Said you shipped on the 7th when it was actually the 10th. So now on the 5th business day and it's still at the Canada Post sorting facility in frigging Ontario, while I can't go to work. 5 answer less calls to customer service. You don't even have " customer service" do you?
It'll probably be obsolete by the time it gets here for my needs and will be sent back. Great business motto
Hi There, is anybody know, if there are Customer Care Issues from OrthoMed Canada Ltd. I am facing some challenges to deal with them and I am going through some 'Pain and Suffering'. It seems like "one paint brush" for ALL customer cases. Trying to connect either their president or their legal department. Please let me know. Thanks.
I ordered an item which arrived damaged and unusable. They have just been pranking me, responding and then not advising me on how to do a return. They have refused to provide a refund or a return label. This is a scam company.
I purchased a hip/thigh support with cold packs. What a cheap piece of garbage that I paid $157.00 that I now find on Temu for under $20.00! Its neoprene that has a horrible design and fit with 4 cold packs. Orthomed will not give a refund!! Be very careful if you think of purchase something from these guys!!!
They said they do not refund cold therapy products, it's cold packs fully sealed and reusable.
Lol..... 😆 🤣 what a joke.
I ended up getting a decent support wrap from Walmart $15.00
Wouldn't recommend if you need your product on time. Order(D240247-1) has been delayed by 2 weeks. Customer care and sales representative simply says "We cannot do anything about the delay"
The hip pad does not work that well. The straps are nice and long but the velcro on them stopped working before I had it for a month. If you email with a complaint they just keep telling you it is supposed to do this or that. There needs to be a better company to give them competition. I can't use the straps so I have to proper a pillow beside the pad. This is not customer service
They are great until they sell you the until, then you are on your own!
Ordered shoes. They said they ended in the wrong distribution truck. They say they will look into it. Contact data is invalid. One month and still no shoes.. Money gone...
I suspect that they are con artist at work. I wouldn't even give them one star. Shoes have arrived today after writing the review and threatening with a complaint by the police. Quality poor inside and no orthopedic shoe sole, just a 3 mm piece of foam.
