I worked as a babysitter for Oscar and Owl. I found the application process easy but thorough checking references, experience and criminal records check. They would contact me regularly setting me up with local families and checking after how it went. Would 100% recommend.

Oscar and Owl are a professional, well-managed and friendly babysitting service. They always went out of their way to ensure their babysitters felt comfortable and listened to. Oscar & Owl is a great service for babysitters and couldn't be simpler! They are flexible and make things so easy for you and very quick to respond if you have any questions. You can book jobs at the click of a button and receive all you need to know about that job so you can be fully prepared. The cash-less pay system is great as it means there is no fuss at the end of the job and Oscar & Owl put the money straight into your account.
I would fully recommend this company to anyone!

Great babysitter supplied, highly recommend

We needed a babysitter at fairly short notice for our six month old and Oscar & Owl sorted us out. Karen arrived on time and was fantastic, putting our little one at ease straight away. When we came back she was fast asleep! All in all a fantastic experience - will use again.

My whole experience with Oscar and Owl was really positive. It was easy to book a babysitter and get some information on her before she arrived. Lucy was very engaging, confident and calm, even after meeting our hyperactive boys! We felt very comfortable leaving her with them and it all went very well. We will definitely be using this service again!

I was at a loose end when my regular babysitter had to cancelled and my normal back-up babysitter couldn’t step in. I’ve never booked a babysitter online, so I was a little hesitant. I shouldn’t have worried, Oscar & Owl are great! Within 20 minutes they had organised for Lucy to come over. I had her number, and her ‘profile’ which included a video from babysitter Lucy saying ‘hi’ - such a sweet addition! My boys warmed to her really quickly, and I came home to happy little boys with brushed teeth, in their PJ’s reading stories. Thank you! I’ll be booking again soon.

Every nanny/babysitter I have used through Oscar & Owl have been excellent!

Oscar and Owl found us a temporary within an hour, when our regular nanny had to go to hospital unexpectedly. We had our nanny from Oscar and Owl for a week and she was really great. What a relief it was!
