Osiris Tours planned and delivered an extraordinary bucket list vacation to Egypt and Jordan for me and my husband. Mahmoud Gebril spent time with us to ensure he captured our interests and travel preferences, providing recommendations to not only provide a great trip, but to create the once in a lifetime experience. Fabulous luxury hotels and first-class experiences well beyond what I could find in my own research or offered by luxury group tour providers. He absolutely achieved the high mark of exceeding our expectations. Across the board, the customer service was impeccable. Airport service as the most amazing handholding as we acclimated to our new countries and their culture. The private drivers were all attentive and gracious, with a special shout out to Khalid in Cairo who stopped to treat us to ice cream, and to Mahmoud in Jordan who shared his love for his country and introduced us to the most amazing meal of our trip in Madaba. And each guide whom we had the privilege to spend time with was truly remarkable and receives my highest regard. Sultan in Cairo introduced us to Egypt and the culture, including the food on a brief food tour. And we will always remember and cherish our time with Essam in Aswan and Luxor. He was a storyteller extraordinaire, making the hieroglyphs, carvings and ancient Egyptian gods come to life. He was enthusiastic about his work and a real joy to spend time with. The private guides really provided the opportunity to deeply experience the history, culture and Egyptian people, past and present. At the end of our epic adventure, it all comes back to Mr. Gebril and Osiris Tours coordinating the magic that it was - the right things, the right people, and the right places, all at the right time. Indeed, we are reconsidering the next adventure on the bucket list to use Osiris Tours again for the extraordinary experience that it was. This luxury tour was indeed luxurious.

Outstanding service by Osiris Tours! Our 18-day private tour of Egypt was the best trip we experienced international travelers ever had. Guides and support staff were top quality with years of experience. We were astonished by the depth of guides’ knowledge. Osiris gave on-site daily staff the flexibility to support guests in the best way hour-by-hour. Traveler safety was monitored unobtrusively, but effectively. Of special note was the smoothness of our care at various transition locations, e.g., airports, lodging, etc. We were always in the care of professionals from start to finish. Osiris is highly recommended.

We had a truly wonderful Egyptian vacation thanks to Osiris Tours! We are exceedingly grateful to the founder Mahmoud for his time in planning the vacation, recommending all the sites and for being so flexible in making last minute changes to accommodate our schedule. Overall we had a truly great and memorable experience with all of the Osiris guides in both Cairo and Luxor! The airport representative who met us off our international flight and assisted with our entry visas was excellent, essential and very reassuring.

Our guide in Cairo Marwa was truly wonderful, excellent at managing the chaos of the city and showing us the sites. Her knowledge of Egyptian history was fabulous and we loved her energy. This leg of the trip was akin to the very best history lesson we have all ever been a part of. She was a seasoned professional ordering at the restaurants and we enjoyed sharing stories and experiences with her. We also absolutely loved our sunset camel ride with the great pyramids in the backdrop on the first afternoon of our trip, it was a true highlight of our vacation!

Our guide in Luxor was again exceedingly professional and knowledgeable. Visits to the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens were just spectacular and again so full of history. We loved the Karnak temple light show and also loved seeing the Luxor temple all lit up at night. Hot air ballooning over Luxor was just fantastic, super well organized, fun and very safe.

We highly recommend Osiris Tours to anyone planning a memorable once in a lifetime vacation to Egypt! Thank you for looking after our family so exceedingly well!

This trip was overall fantastic, we were group of 12 in private tour, our guide in Egypt. Sam, was one of the best I ever had, I have to tell you that I traveled to almost everywhere in the world, and Sam was one of the best guide. The hotels were all excellent and of course we enjoyed Archaeological sites which were unbelievable. Certainly, I recommend Osiris Tour for your next trip to Egypt and Middle East.

Osiris Tours helped us have a trip of a lifetime! Our family of 4 traveled to Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor and Cairo, visiting the various temples and luxury hotels. Osiris Tours took care of everything and made the trip seamless. In Aswan, our tour guide Mohammed Taha took us on the most amazing journey through time. My boys, who are 11 and 8, were absolutely captivated, as was my wife and I. Not only was his knowledge vast, he was able to keep our children’s attention and teach them hieroglyphics. We stayed at the Old Cataract Sofitel hotel in Aswan and it exceeded our expectations. We wanted to stay for weeks. Mohammed traveled with us to Luxor and helped us visit temples along the way. He continued with us in Luxor and guided us through the Valley of the Kings and Queens.
Our trips between Abu Simbel and Cairo were facilitated perfectly by Osiris Tours. I would have been lost without them.
In Cairo, we stayed at the Mena House Marriott at the Pyramids. It’s was beyond incredible. Our tour guide Ahmed Fathy Alsayed guided us through the Pyramids, Sphinx, Museum and Bazaars. The continuity in education between Mohammed and Ahmed was perfect. They helped us take a voyage through time. This trip was magical and we plan on repeating it. Can’t thank Osiris Tours enough; Mahmoud, all the tour guides (I forgot the name of the tour guide in Abu Simbel) and all the drivers. They made us feel like family in this mystical land.

My husband and I really can’t say enough good things about our experience with Osiris Tours. From my first questions in the early stages of planning all the way through when we returned safely home our experience, Osiris Tours was great. Mahmoud in the US answered all my initial questions about traveling to Egypt with their company and helped me understand expectations for us traveling as a gay couple safely, which was one of my primary concerns. He communicated very well and responded quickly to answer my many questions.
Now, I’m a pretty adventurous guy and normally when I travel I have absolutely no problem arranging an itinerary, lodging, and transportation. I am genuinely happy that in this case we went with a custom private tour who took care of that for us. In Egypt, logistics were simply not a concern for us as all was completely taken care of every step of the way – from airport pickup, obtaining our visas, transportation to the hotel and hotel check-in. They told us the plan when to show up in the hotel lobby and each day we were transported in comfortable, airconditioned vans with window-shades for privacy and comfort. We saw temples, tombs, the Nile, markets and museums. We saw all the big-ticket items and several other “off the beaten path,” less commonly seen sites. I know it’s cliché, but my personal favorite was still the Pyramids and Sphinx in Giza!
There were a couple of times during the tour when Osiris Tours really went above and beyond what I’d expect from them. The first example was after the Egyptian Museum, I saw a book unique to the gift shop. I talked myself out of buying it at that time, only to later regret that decision. I checked on Amazon to see if it was available and it was an “out-of-print” and steeply priced as such (hundreds of dollars!!!) compared to a very reasonable price of like, $30 at the museum. Even though we were hours away in a completely different city, I mentioned that regret to Mahmoud via email. A couple days later, our guide told me that they found the book in Luxor and we would be able to get it there! We were able to get it in a small book shop that I NEVER would have found on my own. The second example was that we left a cable for an electronic device in our hotel in Aswan. In Luxor, our guide coordinated to have it brought to Luxor with another colleague who was coming from Aswan so we were able to get it back! These examples demonstrated the incredible customer service Osiris Tours delivered.
All of our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Our tours were completely private. I particularly want to mention our excellent guide in upper Egypt nicknamed “Hotep.” He was so knowledgeable and excited to show us the sites, even though he’s seen and done tours for so many years, we felt like we were really receiving an incredible service and that he genuinely enjoyed showing us everything he could about Egypt. I honestly felt bad seeing some of the tour groups with large groups and the crowds gathering around one guy trying to hear him while he/she held up a little flag so they don’t get lost. I really felt like Hotep was a cut above the other guides I briefly overheard as we went through the sites. The private tour we got from Osiris Tours really allowed us to connect with Egypt more intimately. We still keep in touch with habibi Hotep! We had plenty of time at all the sites to see what we wanted and some extra time to privately wander the sites and take photos as we wished. I’ll also mention that we felt completely safe the entire time and never felt like we needed to look over our shoulders.
We did a 15 day tour which included about 13 nights in Egypt and 2 nights in Jordan. I was really pleased with our time table and wouldn’t have changed anything. I would say that seeing temple after temple after temple became a little difficult to absorb as there is just so much to learn and see. Allow yourself to just enjoy what each site has to offer and don’t expect yourself to learn and remember everything. Osiris Tours makes it so easy for you to have a great time with wonderful once in a lifetime memories!

Working with Osiris Tours was amazing! This trip is something I've wanted to do my entire life and from the moment I first reached out, Mahmoud Gebril was attentive and made sure everything was exactly as I wished (I wanted to experience as much as I could!) From the moment we landed in Cairo, my Dad & I felt like we were home and among family.

The team was incredible, particularly Mahmoud Farah, Sultan, and Ahmed Fathy, who taught us so much, Ashraf, who has amazing driving skills, and Mahmoud, the first one to help us upon arrival in Cairo and the one to help us start our bittersweet journey home.

Everything about the trip was perfect in every way and tailored exactly as described in the itinerary, but it was so much more than I could have ever hoped for - I learned so much and my Dad & I are so grateful for the experiences, adventures, and new friends!

I cannot say enough about Osiris tours and Mahmoud. He crafted the trip of a lifetime for my family (including young children) to Egypt. After a phone conversation, he organized all of our desires into an amazing itinerary that kept us busy but also included down time for the children. Everything went smoothly, from Visa and passport control, to airport transfers, and to intra-country flights between destinations. Our tour guides, Mohammed and Adel, were quite simply the best tour guides we have ever had in all of our travels. They were passionate about telling the stories of ancient Egypt and brought the temples and tombs to life. Most importantly, they were flexible with our itinerary and ensured we did not miss any of the highlights of Egypt. This was a trip I had always dreamed of taking and because of Osiris Tours, that dream became a memorable reality! Everything was flawlessly orchestrated from the moment our plane arrived. Airport personnel awaited us, amazing drivers shuttled us to our superb hotels. Moheb checked us into our hotels and coordinated each day's activities. He was amazing! Our guides Marwa and Islam were so knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating...beyond incredible!! They shared such a passion for their country and its history that you could not help but get caught up in that enthusiasm! My mom spent her 80th birthday riding a felucca on the Nile (We had ridden camels the day before!) When Islam realized it was Mom's birthday, he arranged with the hotel to make her a little cake, which was delivered to our room. The candle was lit and they even sang, "Happy Birthday!!" We recommend Osiris Tours and the people they work with with the highest of recommendations!!

I would definitely rate Osiris Tours as 5 stars. We had a wonderful and informative time in Egypt and Jordan. The 2 guides were superb as were all the other members of the team that we met. All the accommodations were fabulous. We were well taken care of during our 18 day tour.

We did a 15 day trip to Egypt and Jordan with OSIRIS. We found that working with Mahmoud at OSIRIS to set up the trip was easy and we generally followed his recommendations, which turned out to be exactly what we wanted. In fact, we did not completely appreciate the quality of the selections of the various temples and other sites to visit until we began the tour.

We had a great trip, everything ran like clockwork, they met us at the airport in Cairo and facilitated our entry, Visa and Passport control. This was true for every stop on the tour, Aswan, Luxor, Petra and Amman. They always had drivers for us who were very professional and with clean and comfortable vehicles.

The guides were very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. They were at the right level of detail and augmented what we had learned in preparation for the trip. They seemed to enjoy the give and take on the various questions and discussions we had. They were nice people, we enjoyed their company! And they were great representatives of their countries.

The accommodations were excellent. They were clean, comfortable and the breakfasts were very good.

We rate this tour 5 stars and will not hesitate in recommending OSIRIS to others.

We just came back from an amazing trip to Egypt. My family and I had a wonderful time there. The whole trip was above and beyond our expectations (and we travel a lot, so we can compare!)
The kids were afraid they might be bored with too many museums etc. but it was all so exciting and interesting the way the guides did it with activities, that everyone absolutely loved every bit of it!

Mahmoud, like he had told me, really took care of everything - from someone meeting us when we got off the plane (and to the airport flying home), to having our Visa immediately and getting us through the airport so fast. It was mind blowing! His representative there was so warm and welcoming.

Also, my flight was delayed and the connecting flights were not clear and kept changing, and Mahmoud was there for me the whole way, and made sure someone would still be at the airport at the right time when our flight finally arrived at 2am! It was such peace of mind.

All his representatives and guides were outstanding - very polite, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. We learned a lot from our Egyptologist guide.

It was so nice having our own private van, driver, and guide just for us. It was extremely well coordinated and all the guides and staff had excellent communication, so we were never waiting or wondering or worried. Literally all we had to do was enjoy Egypt!

Mahmoud had asked what I was expecting and he paid notice to all the details, and the service was past our expectation.

If anybody ever wants to go to Egypt - Osiris Travel is the only way I'd recommend! We look forward to going back to Egypt again with Osiris.

If you're dreaming of the perfect holiday to Egypt....you've found it. Our group of 16 experienced a flawless trip to Cairo, Luxor and Hurghada with Osiris Tours. The ease of planning, communication, service and attention to every detail could not be beat. Arriving at the airport, the Osiris Staff was waiting for us with a smile prior to even having our passports and VISA requirements verified making it stress free!

Hotel check in was a breeze at each of the 3 locations and the accommodations made were all lovely, with Luxor being my personal favorite due to the fabulous views, sunsets and pool areas.

But what makes any trip the most memorable for me is learning about and experiencing the major historical sites. With a big thank you to our amazing guide, Essam Hamed, who shared his knowledge, culture, passion for Egyptian History and humor with us...not to mention keeping all 16 of from wandering off aimlessly!
He undoubtedly deserves the credit for making our trip so memorable. If you want to see it, suggest it and Essam will make it happen! He will make sure you see the best of the major sites like Dendera Temple, Luxor and Karnak Temples, Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Valley of the Kings, Cairo Museum and Hatshepsut's Temple. But for me, it was the little coffee shop, the bazaar at night, Felucca rides on the Nile, learning about silk rugs and papyrus, "long sleeve' dancing and the local restaurants outside of the hotel that were DELICIOUS that made this trip one of the best I've ever been on!!!

Osiris made my trip to Egypt truly amazing. The service and attention to detail was incredible! Mahmoud Farah, the archaeologist and Egyptologist guide in Luxor and Abeer Abu Dief, the Egyptologist guide in Cairo, were not just knowledgeable and informative but absolutely a joy to spend time with. We laughed and had so much fun! Plus: Osiris handled all of the tickets for archaeological sites, airport transfers and check ins -- it was just smooth and impeccable, with no stress. Our drivers were attentive and sweet. Each contact and representative went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Just an absolutely lovely experience all around. I recently used Osiris Tours for a three day whirlwind trip to the pyramids, Luxor/Valley of the Kings, and Old Cairo. The trip was well planned and coordinated, and having someone meet me at the airport to get a visa and through passport control was a plus. The hotels were all excellent. What stood out most from the trip, though, was the quality of the guides and drivers. Muhammad and Mustafa in Cairo (on both days) were awesome. Muhammad was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond; it felt like I was touring Cairo and the pyramids with a friend who happened to know a lot. Hamdy in Luxor was equally great. I plan to return to Egypt again for a longer trip and will certainly use Osiris again.

My wife and I traveled to Egypt with Osiris Tours, and can't say enough good things about the experience. The entire trip felt exceptionally VIP. I would without hesitation recommend their tours to any of my friends or family traveling in Egypt, and would use Osiris again for their other travel destinations in the future.

Mahmoud was incredibly flexible with our timing of travel due to COVID changes, which was a big deal for us to be relaxed about the travel dates. He was in constant communication with us all the way up to the tour date, where his on site representatives took over the communication. From the point that we arrived at the airport in Cairo, a representative was there to help us with bags and the passport process. Frequently the representatives of Osiris were moving us past lines and into special or diplomatic lines so that we were able to spend the most amount of our time enjoying the trip. All of the transfers from hotels, airports, or tour sites was handled very professionally, and the vehicle was clean and cool (drivers would fire up the air con prior to us getting in the parked van while we were returning from sites, so it was cool right when we got in).

The guides were top notch, they were very knowledgeable, personable, and were able to accommodate schedule changes as needed. It felt like we spent the right amount of time at each site of the tour, never felt like we lingered or were rushed through something. They helped us understand the customs of the country, as well as deal with hagglers in the markets. We spent the most of our time with their guide, Islam, who was very good with helping keep my pregnant wife comfortable and fed. He was also an incredible wealth of knowledge, and seemed to know just about everyone wherever we were. His honesty related to goods and local markets helped us in our decision process and haggling process with local vendors. He also shared a lot of his favorite foods with us throughout the tour (pro-tip, in Luxor, ask him for his peanut vendor).

The hotels were well selected for the options in each city we stayed as well.

Our top recommendations for additional tours would be the: sunset camel ride in Giza/Cairo, and the Nubian Village tour in Aswan.

Egypt and Jordan were on our top places to visit in a lifetime list and, after bring stuck in the US during COVID, there were very high expectations on this trip - it met and exceeded every one of them!

I traveled as a single mother with a 12-year old, for 14 days on a trip that included Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, Petra and the Dead Sea, 13 nights, 5 hotels, 3 internal fights, 3 amazing guides and more sights, sounds and experiences that we could have dreamed of! The organization was flawless, every single thing went exactly as Mahmoud at Osiris had planned it.

I could not recommend Osiris more highly. If, like us, you have people telling you it is unsafe to travel in Egypt, this will prove them wrong - we were accompanied every step of the way when we needed to be, and given ample time to ourselves when we wanted it. On a human level, Mahmoud is an incredible communicator, the gentlemen who met us off every flight and guided us through the visa process were both friendly and experienced, and our 3 guides (Ahmed, Khalaf and Sameer) were knowledgable, fun and firm friends by the end of our visit. 5 stars, 10 out of 10, and every superlative imaginable - we could not recommend Osiris highly enough!

You'll not find a better company to tour Egypt with than Osiris Tours. We've traveled much of the world independently as a family of three, but with so much to explore in Egypt, we decided to work with Osiris Tours and couldn't be happier with our decision.

From the beginning, we worked with Mahmoud to create a customized itinerary that fit our travel goals, including everything from visiting Alexandria to Abu Simbel to climbing Mt. Siani. Once in Egypt, an airport representative greeted us, streamlined the visa process, assisted with our luggage, and quickly introduced us to our tour guide and driver.

Having a private driver to navigate the streets of Cairo and Alexandria was invaluable and very comfortable when going long distances from locations such as Aswan to Luxor.

Egypt is a country layered in history, and having a dedicated guide allowed us to connect with and gain a deeper understanding of the country than we ever could on our own or as part of a larger group.

Along the way, our guides were certified Egyptologists with decades of experience. They helped translate and interpret hieroglyphics and provided in-depth detail about every site we visited. Having a dedicated local guide who speaks Arabic also helped navigate unwanted attention and opened doors to experiences and opportunities we would not have had otherwise.

We couldn't have had a better experience and are already planning a return trip.
