This has been a perfect trip! I really don’t have a single complaint, only a multitude of compliments. I have learned so much about a part of the world that I previously knew almost nothing about. The guides were been so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. With three children in tow, I feel they were perfectly accommodated at their different ages and interests. The service was impeccable at every turn and I always felt safe and secure. The trip planning and guide service took all of the stress out of this trip and it has only been pleasure. Truly a perfect vacation. I am so glad I found you and Osiris Tours. Thank you for everything!!!

Mahmoud Gebril, founder/owner of Osiris, is a ***** professional. He is patient, a good listener and incredibly responsive. We were nervous travelers, worried about Covid and 100 other details. Mahmoud could not have been more available and - again - patient and kind with our many, many questions. His reassurances made us more comfortable and ready to travel - and his word was his bond; everything went seamlessly.

About the trip, we felt very well taken care of. We were met at the airport by an Osiris representative, who facilitated passport control and visas, shepherded us through the airport to our van, accompanied us to the hotel, made sure that we were checked in to the hotel and did not leave until he was sure that everything was in place. This kind of hands-on support was continuous and made us feel that we were getting value for our money.

Khalaf - our guide, became our friend. He was knowledgeable, agreeable, punctual, friendly, open and caring. We traveled as a family group of seven. He quickly got to know everyone's name and he put up with everyone's moods. There came a time when, as people were experiencing tickly throats, runny noses, coughs and accompanying concerns - Khalaf arranged for all of us to be tested - including himself. Then, the next night, after a long day, he disappeared from our dinner together. Where was Khalaf? He returned as we were finishing, brandishing a folder with eight negative tests! We danced with relief, happy that our trip would continue without any detours.

We did a lot. My suggestion for families: take some food from the hotel breakfast, make a sandwich or bring some snacks with you. The pace is fast and there's a lot to do and see. Our van drivers, including Alla and Hani, were excellent. Our airport representatives were excellent. At times, we traveled with security guards in the vehicle. They too were professional and did their jobs, so that we could enjoy our trip.

I would strongly recommend Osiris Tours for anyone considering a trip to Egypt. I would also say that Egypt was wonderful, the people were very, very nice, the food was excellent, the sites were beyond words. Nearly every went as planned, though we were disappointed that we were unable to see any sites of Jewish interest. Other than that - as Khalaf sometimes said - "perfect!"

We booked a trip to Egypt with Osiris Tours for Nov 2021 and it was without a doubt a once in a lifetime experience. Mahmoud put together a stress-free, thoughtful, and exciting itinerary for us that went off without a hitch. We had a private driver, private guide, and beautiful accommodations for the duration of our trip. We didn't really know what to expect in Egypt, but we were blown away by the sites, the service, the people, the food, and the guides. Traffic in Cairo is quite the experience and it certainly could have been a hectic and stressful time, but our drivers and vans were safe and professional and made sure we felt comfortable even in the worst of traffic. We saw Cairo, Hurghada, and Luxor and felt as if we really got a taste of the culture and the history of Egypt. It's difficult to describe the impact of witnessing ancient Egyptian sites with your own eyes, but because all the logistics of our travel was so stress-free, we were able to take in all the sites to the fullest. Thanks to Mahmoud and his team, Egypt truly left a mark that will impact us for the rest of our lives.

We couldn't have asked for a better tour company! Osiris exceeded our expectations and arranged the trip of a lifetime. The level of detail was apparent at all of the locations we visited. Easily some of the best tour guides, drivers, hotel accommodations, and activities we have experienced throughout our travels.

Our 10 day trip to Egypt was amazing and exceeded all my expectations. The activities recommended by Mahmoud and the pace of the tour were just right. We feel that we not only got to see the historical sites but got immersed in the everyday Egyptian culture as well. From start to finish we had no worries or concerns. The drivers and airport assistants were all professional. Every transfer and excursion was handled seamlessly. Diia and Mohamed are wonderful guides and went out of their way to meet all our needs. I especially enjoyed the bonus bird watching experience with Diia in Aswan. Over all a 5 star experience

My wife and I returned to Egypt for the second time with Osiris tours. Once again, everything was perfect... the planning, airport transfers, hotels and the tours were amazing. We visited, Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Abydos and Dendara. Our guide , Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and very flexible on scheduling our visits to various sites. I will use no one else when visiting Egypt!!

A Great Adventure to another land

We made the 20 hour flight total to visit Egypt. We could not have done this trip without the expertise of Mahmoud Gebril’s custom tours Osiris Tours. We have never had a completely planned trip by someone before and we picked the right person for this trip.
Every aspect of our trip was well planned and he made this a custom trip, adding what we wanted to see with expert guides.
This is a great time to visit Egypt. The weather was fantastic, the sites were not crowded and we were able to see all the places we had only dreamed of. An agent met us at the airport and helped us get our Visa and then onto our hotel.
On our trip we started in Cairo and had ample time to visit the bazaars and of course the Pyramids.
Our first night we had a wonderful meal overlooking the Pyramids with our Cairo guide Bery. Get used to honking cars and creative driving in Cairo. We went to the Pyramids, toured them and of course went on a camel ride.
Our journey continued with a flight to Aswan, we visited Philae Temple and had a beautiful boat ride on the Nile River in a Fleucca sail boat with our guide Khalaf.
We traveled by land through the desert to Abu Simbel and then onto Luxor the next day with our guide and driver. We went from desert to beautiful farm land along the Nile. Visiting the Valley of the Kings was amazing and then to Karnak and Luxor Temple.
We said goodbye to our guide and flew to Cairo to meet with our Cairo guide and our last day to see a Mosque and the museum.
This trip is so well planned that you do not have to buy tickets for anything as it is included in the price. The guides do all the work for you to make this a hassle free trip.
We stayed at beautiful hotels, had great food and all in all a wonderful experience. There were 3 of us on this trip and all of our needs were met.

My wife and I would like to share about our time in Egypt and express our gratitude to a great private/custom travel tour company. We took this trip on the first place, in lieu of our long planned trip to Asia, and after doing our research and corresponding due diligence, we chose OSIRIS TOURS. After the selection, we designed a tailor-made itinerary, together with Mahmoud Gebril - founder and president of OSIRIS Tours. He understood our needs and wishes from the get – go and helped us set everything up. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole process enjoyable. I am unable to express my satisfaction with OSIRIS Tours fully.

There were several “bucket list” items we wanted to visit, and OSIRIS worked closely with us in order to fit our time to the perfect experience. We never felt lost or on our own to figure things out. At the airports and beyond, we always had the helpful and professional OSIRIS representatives to show us every step of the way, and to place us in the very capable hands of our coordinators. I highly recommend booking your trip with Osiris Tours. I took a solo trip and spend 7 days exploring Egypt. I had a great time! I wish I had taken a longer tour with them. I explored Cairo and Luxor. The guides and drivers were so great and so knowledgeable. The hotel stays were incredible as well. I have already recommended Osiris Tours to friends and family looking to travel to Egypt. As for solo travelers, Osiris Tour was absolutely the best. Without this team, I would not have been able to see and experience so much of the country. I already know I have to return to Egypt. There is so much I have still to see. I will definitely be touring with Osiris Tours again in the future.

My sister and I just got back from 10 wonderful days in Egypt. We had been planning to visit Egypt via a River Cruise/large tour group, but concerns regarding COVID changed that for us. Looking for another approach to visit this country, we found Osiris Tours and Mahmoud Gebril. It was the best thing that could have happened. Mahmoud immediately got back to our request for information, worked within our budget that had been set when we were going to do the group cruise, our desires for experiences, time frame, etc. He worked quickly and effectively to plan an amazing tour plan that was triple the experiences we would have had with the river cruise.
From the time we stepped off the plane in Cairo until we got through security heading home, every detail had been planned for and arranged via his multitude of local contacts and experts. And what a relief! Many of the procedures were different from what we know in the US and with the help, guidance and coaching of everyone we were able to breeze through all of the challenges of this level of travel including the added complications of COVID. We were able to just focus on enjoying our trip. We have had experiences with tour companies in the past, but the personal touch that Mahmoud has built into the trips he plans for his clients is unparalleled with any other.

During our time in Cairo, we were guided by Shirene Helal. Shirene has over 30 years as a guide, a broad educational background and the most amazing wealth of information. She is exceptional in her ability to connect the dots in the story of the people of Egypt through the millennia of their history. With her, we learned things that ranged from the meals loved by Egyptians to the connections between the various religious communities and how they developed thousands of years ago to the present day. We included in our tour a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and Shirene provided a detailed, well thought out and articulated guidance from start to finish that was better than anything provided by the Museum itself. We looked for a book in the Museum store on this subject but there wasn't one. Sherine could and should write it herself – it would be awesome!

Amr (sorry didn’t get last name) guided us through the temples around Aswan, a day trip to Abu Simbel and on the way north to Luxor. We enjoyed a sunset felucca ride and a visit to a Nubian village and dinner. Amr was fun and engaging. We enjoyed sharing stories about families with him and kidding him and he did it right back to us! It was really wonderful and added something unexpected to our experience.. He clearly had a plan for how to describe, explain and most importantly connect what we saw at each site to the next ones we would see. He was an artist in his ability to point out the nuances of the variations in the design, structure, decorations etc. in each of these sites. He had us hanging on to his every word and so well prepared to understand what we were seeing in the present and what we would see in the future. Because of a family emergency we were very sad that Amr couldn't complete our time in Luxor with him but with hardly any hiccup, Osiris Tours arranged for another excellent guide for us – Hatem.

Hatem el Saman was of course very knowledgeable, experienced, accommodating and responsive. He was really helpful with vendors and artisans. We truly enjoyed the nighttime tour of Luxor temple with him. Hatem guided us through the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the Workers. Most of what we saw were tombs that didn't allow guides inside to minimize the damage to the centuries old antiquities because of the extra talking involved. He was excellent at pointing out things to look for when we had to go into tombs by ourselves, which happened very often during this part of our trip. He had us well prepared for the incredible sights, art, history we would see. He was fun to be with and we always felt we were in good hands.

Another important support person we experienced in Cairo (at the beginning and end of our trip) was Sherif Emam who handled transfers from the airport, to hotels to making arrangements to get our PCR tests. But Sherif did more than that. As we traveled through the city at different points in our trip, Sherif pointed out important points of interest and shared information about his country and his city. He was great fun and very engaging as he shared stories and like all the others made us feel part of the family!

We can't say too much about the wonderful trip that Osiris Tours and all their associates gave us. Five+ stars and two thumbs up! I did a 7 day tour with Osiris visiting Cairo and Luxor. It was an amazing journey from day 1 to 7. My guides were outstanding and the accommodations were all 5-Star properties. Osiris insured I would have a worry-free experience.

Osiris tours set up a wonderful 12 day Egypt tour for my wife and me. We wanted a custom tour for the two of us to avoid large groups. Osiris reps. met us all along the way from touch down in Cairo to leaving 12 days later. Our tour guide, and much more, Mahmoud Farah, was with us in Cairo, Giza, Aswan and Luxor. His factual knowledge (Egyptology Univ of Cairo) woven with his understanding of ancient Egyptian culture gave us a great appreciation of 5,000 years of history. He was sensitive to our pace of activity as we are a bit beyond middle age and made our busy days a pleasure. Mahmoud was a big reason our tour was so good! A concern was the "private vehicle" and driver but the new Toyota vans used on the longer trips were roomy, comfortable, air conditioned and clean. The drivers were excellent and handled the chaotic mix of traffic with skill!

We had such an amazing trip! Mahmoud of Osiris tours helped us plan our dream trip, and then guides / Egyptologists Saad and Sam and Shariff and all the others, including the drivers, executed a seamless, fun and just all around wonderful trip.
We started in Cairo, and went on to Aswan, which was a beautiful spot, and unfortunately our time there was short. We drove to Abu Simbel to see the towering statues, took the Nile cruise to magical Luxor and then drove to the Red Sea. We learned so much about the the Egyptian past as well as the present. We treated ourselves to five-star all the way, and thoroughly enjoyed the pools at each hotel at the end of the day.
Visiting Egypt had been a dream of mine since an art history course in college many years ago, and I had pretty much thought it would never happen, and then luckily found Osiris. From the moment I reached out to Mahmoud, we immediately began a dialog which centered on him getting to know us a little and asking what we wanted out of visiting the county. After spending time listening to us, he created a custom itinerary and submitted it for our review the next day. We made alterations and changes over the next few months, some at the last moment and at each turn, Mahmoud was not only accommodating but serious in making certain everything would be handled efficiently. He supplied us with all the necessary information to arrive in Egypt and kept us updated on changes that impacted us due to COVID like testing and entry requirements.
When we arrived, we were met with Osiris representatives who handled the extremely difficult task of passing through the airport and customs. When we left, they navigated obtaining all our needed travel documents as well. I cannot say how important this will be in your travel as the airport is very hectic and can be confusing.
After we settled into our hotel, we met what was without a doubt the most important aspect of our entire journey- our guides.
Mahmoud takes great care in selecting guides that will fit with your desires. Our guides were a perfect match to what we wanted in our vacation. I mean it when I say, there were some tears at our departure when we had to say goodbye. We had come to feel that we had known them already and had been friends for ages. Their skill, knowledge and passion were evident throughout the trip.
There was not a single question I asked that they did not have some piece of information, often times of a more detailed nature than something you could just google. This is what sets Osiris Tours apart... these guides know things from their own life experience. They can share with you cultural and historic aspects anecdotally which you will not find anywhere else or online. We visited an outdoor cafe for lunch and our guide explained her relationship to the neighborhood as she grew up and the changes taking place. In another case, we were hiking up the Valley of the Queens and our guide talked about how much he loved the landscape, explaining features and details that had made this place so unique to the Ancient Egyptians.
There was so much information inside the tombs and temples they shared that we felt like we got a crash course in Egyptology at the end of our stay. I mean it when I say, trust your guides. These people are committed and passionate.
Our drivers must have nerves of steel, navigating Cairo rush hour is not for the feint of heart. They were ready every day and patient throughout our travels in a way that gives you confidence you are in good hands.
I hope this review will convince you that Mahmoud and his team is really the best choice. They were ready at a moments notice to alter and update even while we were in Egypt. There was no request we couldn't make that they didn't assist with. We even had a doctor come to our hotel to do our COVID testing for entry back into the US.
Please consider this company as your best choice when going to Egypt.

Worry Free Tour and Awesome lifetime Experience: July 4- 19, 2021
These are best words I can describe our recent tour in Egypt and Jordan thru Osiris Tours. My husband and I want to thank all your team at Osiris tours for unforgettable trip. Your planning and scheduling was conveniently followed. Mahmoud Gebril has taken the time to learn your interest, reasons and priorities for the trip. We appreciate this expertise how he designed the trip perfectly for us. All the tour guides were all professional, knowledgeable and punctual. All of them were down to earth and accommodating, going out of their way to make your experience pleasant, comfortable and unforgettable. Special mention to Ahmed Fathy (Egypt) who really is passionate in sharing his knowledge and expertise in Egyptology, providing a welcoming atmosphere and friendliness. His conscientiousness about your comfortability during the tour makes him a great tour guide. The souvenir stores he took us were validated in selling their products. We did not feel being pushed to buy or make us uncomfortable. The other tour guide to mention as well that made an impact is Ehab (Jordan) who also has the same passion in sharing his country’s history and landmarks. He also has the same professionalism as Ahmed and conscientiousness in make sure you are comfortable and your tour needs are met. They also both helped us get the PCR test requirements in a timely manner.
Even the Osiris team at the airport were all professionals and appropriately attired to represent you thru airport security, immigration and customs which made the trip stress free from all the requirements, visa and inspections. Your Osiris team went far and beyond to take care all the hassles we had on this trip. The accommodations were all good to excellent. Our favorites were the Sofitel Old Cataract, Hilton Resort and Spa and Marriott in Petra. Wish we had more time to stay. All the private vans and vehicles were comfortable and clean. All drivers were courteous, friendly and importantly able to endure the long hot drive thru the desert to reach your destination safely.
This is truly a stress free vacation/trip. We feel blessed to be able to make this trip to gain knowledge in validating our curiosity about civilization and biblical events. At the same time being a blessing to others who are struggling in the travel industry over there and still giving us an unforgettable lifetime experience.
Any apprehension and hesitation regarding the cost of the trip disappeared because these people at Osiris tour handled all our travel needs professionally and stress free. Which made the cost of the trip for us to be reasonable.
The only issue I had in this trip was the Wi-fi connections especially during the Nile Cruise. Ahmed took care of it by purchasing a local sim card in our behalf.

My wife, daughter and I visited Egypt for 10 days with Osiris Tours in June 2021. We had originally planned to go in May 2020, but Mahmoud Gebril the owner of Osiris Tours helped us to reschedule due to Covid travel restrictions. Everything about our trip was absolutely wonderful; Egypt was great, Osiris Tours was flawless, and being vaccinated and visiting during a pandemic was the opportunity of a lifetime. We literally had the place to ourselves! Obviously this is a very challenging time for those that depend on tourism, but for the traveller, it was amazing. I have a collection of iconic photos from our trip where we are the only people in the shot.

Osiris Tours provided an amazing private tour at an affordable price. Every person we interacted with was a consummate professional who enjoyed their job and loved showing travelers the beauty and history of Egypt. By taking a private tour, our general itinerary was preplanned, but the details and pace were up to us. We never had to wait, always felt safe and well taken care of, and we completely enjoyed our time with our guides, drivers, airport transfer personnel, everyone. For our tour, we elected to skip the popular Nile cruise aspect of an Egyptian vacation, we are not really cruising folks. Instead we were driven from place to place in modern and comfortable air conditioned vans and in complete control of our daily schedule. We did spend an evening on the river at sunset and it too was wonderful.

Before we went, I was worried about the Covid travel requirements, but it actually went quite smoothly. We got tested no problem to meet Egyptian entry requirement (which I think have been relaxed to allow rapid test or PCR), masks were being worn in Egypt when appropriate, and we got our return test as a "house call" right in our hotel. I seriously recommend that you go to Egypt with Osiris Tours while tourism is light. Tip well, be kind and considerate to those you meet, and just relax and enjoy an Egyptian experience.

Our Egypt tour set up by Osiris Tours was absolutely amazing. Mahmoud was extremely kind to work with and catered the entire trip to our needs. Egypt was a dream vacation for us, and after doing our due diligence on a number of tour companies, the quality and personalization of the tour with Osiris was one we could not pass up. Whether it be a specific site we wanted to see, or additional relaxing time, the entire team was so quick to accomodate. Communication with Mahmoud was great, and we never had to worry about no answer or a last minute change in our schedule being accommodated.

We did not have to worry about a single thing once we landed in Egypt, and were simply able to just enjoy the trip and not worry about logistics. Everything in the detailed itinerary was given as promised, which is not always the case when traveling internationally and using tour companies.
