Mediocre

I’ve been a customer of OspreyFX for 2 years, always facing issues with withdrawals. Recently, during the migration from MT5 to TradeLocker, all my funds, $18k, are lost. I've contacted support without any results. It's been over a week, and I'm still waiting for them to process the transfer of my funds, but nothing has changed. Their service is very poor; support mentioned I would be contacted by a superior, but I'm still waiting for their response."

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT! SIGN UP WITH THIS BROKER.

On 12/21/2023 I had several trades In profit but when I closed manually they all turned negative for a loss I contacted Osprey with all the information they requested and as of 1/4/2024 I have yet to receive a response. Stay far, far far away from this broker. You will do nothing but loss your money even when you're in profit.

Frustrated Experience with OspreyFX - Issues now resolved

This broker was recommended to me, but my experience has been far from satisfactory. Last week, Tradelocker had an execution bug on mini instruments (I was trading the US30.mini). I manually closed a trade IN PROFIT, yet it inexplicably turned into a loss on my live account. Strangely, the same trade on my demo account showed no issues.

While Tradelocker addressed the bug and advised clients to contact their broker for refunds, OspreyFX's Trade Specialist team remains unresponsive. Despite submitting all required evidence a week ago, there has been no follow-up or resolution. Today, inquiring about the delay, I received the generic "we've had an influx of emails, please be patient" response from agent Nicola. When I requested escalation to management, she claimed they were too busy and promptly ended the conversation.

Notably, fellow traders in Tradelocker's Discord Server (#Bugs) share the same issue, with no response from OspreyFX. I am skeptical that lost funds will be credited back, given the lack of communication and assistance.

Tradelocker's glitchy platform combined with OspreyFX's inadequate customer service has created a bitter trading experience. It's disheartening to see a recommended broker fall short of expectations. I hope OspreyFX rectifies this situation promptly and does right by its clients.

EDIT after OspreyFX’s response: I’ve already submitted the information requested. If I were to email the broker again, my query would be moved to the back of the queue - as advised by one of their agents. Something else to be careful of. Best to communicate with OspreyFX via Live Chat. But if I’m to deal with agents like Nicola who advise that management are too busy to deal with queries and end conversations abruptly, I wouldn’t bother again.

EDIT #2: Unexpectedly received an email today (12th January 2024). Despite me writing off the situation, they credited my account with much more than I lost.

My last withdrawal cost me $2,368…

My last withdrawal cost me $2,368 because they sent 296 inputs to the BTC blockchain to fund my withdrawal. On 11/27 they replied that they are working towards providing me with a solution. The solution provided on 12/19: "We would like to advise you that for future withdrawals, we recommend utilizing USDT instead of BTC to avoid high fees on BTC Blockchain. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding." BTC fees on 11/16 averaged $8. Problem is OspreyFX sent 296 inputs to the blockchain which means $8 x 296 = $2,368 in fees that were deducted from my output by the blockchain. OspreyFX should've sent only 1 input to the blockchain to fund my withdrawal.

I do not know why I even bothered…

I do not know why I even bothered trading with this Thievery of a broker again. First I withdrew my money from my trading account to my account balance and the money never came after contacting them for a week straight with over 20 email and their response always the same. "The relevant department is working on it" for over a week and just today that they managed to send my money back into my trading account I took three buy positions and once I was in profit I went risk free on all three trades. Tell me why I open my account I have been kicked out of these trades Lossing at least $160 per trade when I was breakeven.

They did this so I will not have the margin to keep holding the other trades I had running leading to a massive loss smh

Upon contacting them, what these people could tell me is we have forwarded your case to the relevant department and they will investigate the case. And when I asked them when this can be resolved the told me they don't a definite timing for this.

So I'll have to wait another week to be able for this to be investigated and the last problem only took a week because I contacted them persistently over a week.

This is my worst experience with a broker to think I was just trying them for the first time.

Please if you want to secure your funds, do not I repeat do not bother with this broker.

Do not recommend this broker.

I have lost all money during the migration to tradelocker. There were no warning before the migration. I have Emailed them and they have sent me to the highly relevant team which havent responded in over three weeks. I wonder if they even try to fix my problem. Lost almoust 5k.

Ospreyfx is 0 star rating they don't respond anymore and will end the chat without responding to you. Trade locker has ruined my accounts. I've lost hope in them. Its Sunday a trade locker has been down the whole day it's now 8 pm where I am. I told the tradelocker was down no response to im leaving them for good farwell ospreyfx was good before the trading platform switched from mt4 to tradelocker.

In the beginning this broker was great

In the beginning this broker was great, but recently there responses in the chat have been very shady, during the tradelocker updates they increased my lot sizes on indice pairs which im very familiar with and experienced, there excuse was that i change my leverage and had set pending orders, which i never do, as im a market execution trader. At the end i ended up closing my trades at a big loss and withdrew my remaining funds. Search for a better broker as this broker is looking to liquidate traders in between updates, and the chances of getting a refund because of there mistakes are very slim. Other experinces with other traders was during the updates they also had missing funds and trades they never executed. Not sure what happen to this broker as in the past it was smooth in depositing and withdrawing but now my view has completely changed.

WITHDRAWAL PENDING 6 DAYS

They made a decison to move from MT5 and to tradelocker. Since I tried tradelocker and didn't like it i made a withdrawal on 11/15/2023 before the transition which is the same day I was notified about they would be moving accounts to Tradelocker I have been waiting for my withdrawal since 11/15/2023, i have sent several support tickets and talked to chat it's been 6 days and still no withdrawal. I have friends that requested a withdrawal after me and they have received theirs. There is a ERC20 instant withdrawal that wasn't there before so I used TRC20. I have requested them to reject it and I can resubmitted it using ERC20 since it is still in progress and not processed

I have few accounts with osprey. forex

I have few accounts with osprey forex. Things were going well until this past week then they abruptly dropped mt4/5 platforms with only few hours notifications and destroyed customers accounts especially if you had robots running. Now have been asking to speak to a live person and all I get is excuses it is shameful for what they did and recommend to stay away from a broker that without notice dropped a platform I guess this is the price of doing bussiness with an unregulated unregistered broker. All I was trying to ask was to combine allnaccounts into 1. And all keep hearing we have technical support issue gee I wonder why when you abruptly stop a platform without notice yes you will have a lot of complaints. Stay away from them

Just terrible

Just terrible. Got rid of Metatrader and migrated my account to Tradelocker without permission or notice. Very upsetting to be a client with them for so long and having all that wiped away without notice. Should of been a option to choose if we wanted to migrate our account or not. They made that chose for us.

Worst nightmare ever

Worst nightmare ever. They decided to get rid of MetaTrader and gave their customers virtually no notice (12 hours??) before migrating our accounts to Tradelocker. Apparently the notice was embedded in some junk email they sent out the day before. After I finally figured out where my money disappeared to (Since you can’t get a hold of anybody in customer service) I cancelled all my trades, zeroed out my account and put in a withdrawal request. 12 hours later my withdrawal request was denied because for some reason my account went to $-0.28 over night for no reason. So then I had to put in another withdrawal request which I finally got. All of this with no customer service support.

This was the worst experience ever. OspreyFX are financial terrorists!! Negative 5000 stars.

At the beginning I was liking the experience with them. However, yesterday without forewarning they forcefully migrated my account from mt5 to tradelocker. Their customer service impossible to reach as they likely had and influx of angry customers wondering what is going on. Just poor service and management of their clients. Definitely reconsidering staying

I created a account yesterday and uploaded my documents and today they blocked my account..What i do wrong ? They rejected my documents thats ok but why block me and i cant now upload again or something!! Very frustrating for me

Osprey Funded challenges are manipulated

Update: In response to Osprey's comments, I put together data from my experts tabs to show the side by side difference of the two accounts trading at the same time in regards to slippage and fill times. And the point I made to them is that this affects a lot of prop firms because they provide these services for several outside prop firms.

OspreyFX has a prop firm as well as a brokerage. They as well provide brokerage services for other prop firms as well. Well, I got a free trial from one of their customer prop firms while simultaneously running one of their own brokerage demo accounts. Both Osprey and the Prop firm I was using say that they allow HFT, which is very rare. Well, on my Prop firm demo free trial, my trades were delayed and had massive slippage, while the OspreyFX demo account had none of this. I was running them both on the same VPS and the conditions were starkly different. I questioned them about this on the chat, asking if the conditions for an Osprey Funding challenge are exactly the same as an OspreyFX broker demo. They ran around the question, never answered me, and then kicked me out of the chat twice. So obiously, there is manipulation going on here, where they say they would accept HFT trades on their funded accounts, but they manipulate the trades so that you would never be successful. I've seen Eightcap do the same thing as well. Do not trust these people.

I have been using Ospreyfx for 6 month…

I have been using Ospreyfx for 6 month now and I have had no problems adding or trading or withdrawing from my Ospreyfx account. Very happy with their service.
