I had hired a car from OTOQ, Chania airport last week. Michale was really helpful and he did the paperwork quickly. Overall the experience was nice. I would recommend OTOQ to anyone who like to rent a car in Chania / Crete.

Excellent service from otoQ Chania station. We contacted otoQ prior of arrival and he answered immediately giving us all the information necessary. We arrived late in the evening and he was waiting for us with no extra charges. Car was excellent and was even upgraded to a better one that we had booked. Highly recommend.

My recent experience with the otoQ collaborators at Chania has been very positive.
They have contacted me one day before my arrival and again on the day of my flight, in order to be punctual when meeting me at the Chania airport.
Additionally, when leaving, they have been very helpful with an unpleasant accident with the rented car been scratched while parked. They have sent me all the necessary documents for the insurance company to recompense me. good job guys!

Everything was good. Reliable, kind and serious staff (Michael) at the Chania station made the whole car pick up procedure effortless and quick. Due to flight delay we had a late pick-up and at the return we anticipated the car return and in both cases we had maximum availability from the company.

Quick and serious car return procedure, Mike brought us in front of the airport entrance.

Car was ok (lil bit slow but we knew it😉) and we had absolutely no problems with it.

Everything was ok, very kind.

After my last year's very bad experience in Bulgaria this car hire is a million miles better. They kept in touch from the beginning to the end. Michael is a very helpful guy and the car given was only 3 months old better than the 12 year old one FlyRentAcar in Bulgaria.
We picked up from Chania Airport Branch. Walking distance from terminal.
Will definitely use them in the future.

All good, we had a tire problem and the problem was very fast solved.

Would give zero stars if I could, sold my soul for a holiday to Orlando and arrived at MCO Airport, rang the company excessively and had no answer. Managed to figure out what shuttle service needed to take us to sales office (after many hours of being stranded at the airport), got to the office and it was locked. The shuttle driver even tried to ring the office as he felt so bad for us. We are now without a car in Orlando and will need to pay for Ubers to get around. Don’t waste your time or money!!

I rented a dacia for 10 days. Customer service was very pleasant and helpful. They informed me very important points and make my reservation very smoothly. I really recommend here and they can speak 3 languages, bosnian, english, and turkish.

Horrible experience,

Rented in santorini, from 10th to 14th.
I made a mistake and did not took full detailed videos of the car.

Seems like a one man show and feels like I became a victim of a known scam, what a shame.

Took the car and returned it by the 14th it was my birthday and I asked to extend my rental till 10 PM. VASSILIS agreed and I payed the extra.

Came back the 14th at 0930 after letting him know I’m on my way an hour in advance.
he said he must welcome other clients at the airport and could not meet me.
I had to jump on a flight so I told him to meet me outside arrives to hand over the keys.

As soon as he came he said there is a scratch I did not agree with him it was there already the car was all scratched
He told me he will contact me and I left for the flight

Same day I asked for the original copy and still did not have it till today 19th of August
All I got today was a receipt made by a repair shop from him for 410 eur dated for the 18th

My bank shows a deduction already at the 15th for the same amount

He took the money before the work even made?

Been still asking for the agreement and the contract signed on the day of rental to no avail.

Contact local law firm in Athens hoping for justice.

I rented a car from the Chania station and was very happy with the service I received. Michael was extremely welcoming and went through the whole check-in process with me. He also had some nice tips on how to get around the island and avoiding tourist buses going to Elafonisi. The check-out was straightforward. We could just park the car in the parking lot next to the airport and leave the keys in a designated area. Very time-efficient process.

Overall, I was very satisfied and highly recommend this company.

I usually write bad reviews about car hire companies but this was a truly refreshing experience. I received a lovely text clearly explaining where to go to pick up the car. There were very friendly staff, they explained the insurance options but there was no hard sell. The car was quite new with no damage, the collection was fast and easy with no queue and they brought the car to me rather than me having to go and find it. The best part - on returning the car, they checked it over with me, agreed it was all fine and tehn gave us a lift as close to the departure gate as it was possible to get! Amazing! Well done Otoq.

Location is one of the closest to the Airport, literally a 5 minute Walk.

Michael Communicated thoroughly, and explained the excess insurance requirements without pressure.

Pre and Post Rental Inspections were fair and evidenced with your own images via WhatsApp.
It really was a breath of fresh Air.

Also, this is the first time in 25 years of renting that I actually got the exact model of car that I had booked !

First of all, the rental car company doesn’t have their number on the reservation so it took forever to figure out which shuttle to get from the airport to the company. Turned out otoq is also next car so we finally were able to figure out where to go after about 45 minutes. We get to the rental car company and find that (unlike most rental car companies) they have a specific time for you to pick up your car and if it’s two hours post (say your flight got delayed) then they removed your reservation. Thankfully, they still had a similar car for us to rent out but the associate made it very clear we were at fault for not calling, though that was never conveyed on the reservation. The associate then goes to us all about the additional fees and policies using the scare tactic to pressure us into insurance for tire/window damage, automatic 500 dollars if anything happens (mean while if a tire goes flat, it’s less than 500 to replace it) but it’s not covered by insurance so you must accept. The other out of this world policy is your own personal car insurance must cover up to $300,000 for it to be accepted. That, my friends, is a price of a high class house.. not the price of a car. Completely unrealistic. So you are forced to use their insurance policy because even if they “accept” your car insurance, no car insurance covers that amount. It was an additional $500 on top of the $100 for the week with the policy coverages added on there. Sure, other companies are still more expensive than $600 for the week but the sneakiness behind the rental was absurd. I would not recommend this rental service.
