I purchased a Mattress one week ago, following the promise on the website of 48h delivery. 7 days gone now, after trying to book a time slot delivery with their courier, but apparently DX only deliver when they want regardless of your availability and of course only during working hours which it makes it virtually impossible to be home… I called Otty back to explain the situation and find a solution but the only one offered was to cancel the purchase. So I did.
I can speak about the quality of the mattress, because it never arrived, but their courier and their customer service let me down, and I won’t consider at all purchasing from them again.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand your frustration. Our advertised delivery times are based on normal courier service levels, however on this occasion the delivery process clearly fell below the standard we expect.
We appreciate how inconvenient weekday-only delivery windows can be, especially when availability is limited and clear delivery slots cannot be provided. Unfortunately, once the parcel is within the courier network, delivery scheduling is managed directly by them, but we fully accept that this still reflects on us as the retailer.
We are sorry that we were unable to offer a suitable alternative at the time and understand why you chose to cancel your order. We are pleased your refund was processed promptly, but we regret that your experience with both the courier and our service left you disappointed.

Sent a physical letter hassling me to buy bed
I had a bed frame in my basket, didn’t complete check out as I wanted to review other options. Went another way, thought nothing of it but then received a physical letter from OTTY to my house asking me about buying a bed.
I have no memory of when I gave my address. Even if it is legitimate it is a very aggressive way of marketing that I really do not appreciate. Ironically, I chose against OTTY as I felt the description was a lot of marketing speak and not a lot of substance.

Using unreliable delivery service have yet ti receive my bed 3 hours past the delivery window, can’t actually speak to anyone at DX and I’ve sacrificed a day of work to sit in for this mattress
Edit: i appreciate the apology but no the mattress was not delivered. I cancelled the order as I was not contacted by yoruselves or DX to arrange another day for delivery

Got the pillows everyone has been raving about. I say got them. Vague delivery dates and when I asked where they were I was given 2 x long tracking numbers that I had to manually enter into a tracking system instead of a link that I could click.
Maybe they were busy, I don’t know. But delivery soured the experience.

I love my Otty mattress
I love my Otty mattress. It arrived in a very neat box and very quickly sprang back into shape once unpacked. It is very comfortable to sleep on and is good value. Also, easy to turn as not too heavy - a problem with a lot of good mattresses.

So far, so good. Delivery was lightening fast. It came in a small box but was very heavy. I knew from the weight that I was in for a quality mattress. I needed something form because I weigh 17 stone. It doesn't disappoint. No more back pain. It's very firm, yet soft.

As with many new foam mattresses, there can also be a temporary “new mattress” smell after unboxing. This is completely normal and should gradually fade over the first few days to weeks with regular ventilation and airflow.
