Great fit, not as advertised. Terrible customer service, ridiculous return shipping charges
I just had a terrible experience with this company. Short of it: I ordered two pairs of bibs for $248. They took over two weeks to reach me because they were stuck in customs for 9 days. Once I received them, they were a duller color and not as shiny as what was represented on their website. The fit was great but I got them also for the color. I only tried them on for the fit, and never rode with them. Here’s where things get even really messy. It took me over 10 emails to even get to a clarifying point about the time it took to ship them to me, the return policies, and the color of the items which they claimed were ‘exactly as they were on the website photos’. Talk about gaslighting. I’ve worked in the cycling industry for over 20 years combined and I have NEVER insinuated a customer’s perspective was flat out wrong. It pissed me off. They then kept pushing me to decide whether I wanted to return the items and I was doing all the legwork and calculations for returning the items so I could make an informed decision since they obviously weren’t interested in helping (also, ZERO attempt at any apology or attempt to meet me in the middle or make things right. Terrible.). So…the cost to return them was a nightmare of logistical negotiating. $37.45 shipping to return the items, Plus a 21% tax on the return shipping charge, which would bring the cost deducted from my refund to $45.31. Then, IF customs decides to open the package and impose a tariff fee on the item, that will be added to the deduction from the refund which would bring the original item refund cost to below 200EU (they’re located in Madrid, Spain), which per their return policy I would then be responsible for the initial shipping charge to ship the items to me (which was shown as being “free” on their website.), which also would be deducted from the cost of the refund, that being around $35, bringing the total deductions to around $85-$110. Subtracted from the original cost of the bibs, $278, that meant I would be paying them $85-$110 to simply try on a pair of bibs, and return them so they could re-sell them at full price. I’m paying them $85-$100 to re-sell their product. How messed up is that. Fit was great, everything else: absolute crap. Okay, that’s my two cents.
