I had an amazing e-bike experience with the fantastic Dom early in Spring! It was such a good way to explore more of the city and find out interesting facts about Chinese culture and Hutong life. My friends and I hadn’t used e-bikes before but were soon at ease as Dom gave us plenty of time to practice along a quiet street. We soon found our feet and we’re off for an adventure! We whizzed through the Hutongs and stopped at various places along the way. Dom told us about Hutong houses and way of life as we made our way to the Drum and Bell Tower. Many stops along the way included soy bean ice cream and freshly squeezed orange juice. Dom made sure we had plenty of photos and pointed out some top Hutong cafes and eats. It was such a good way to learn more about the city and we couldn’t stop pinning all the locations Dom had pointed out to us! I’d 100% recommend and will be back again.

We took the Hutong Ebike Tour and the host was very welcoming, well educated and knowledgeable on what he was saying and the hidden gems we went to. This is definitely something you need to try. You may get lucky 🍀 and take a dip in the river late at night if you dare. Overall had a great experience thanks Dom and Our Beijing.

We have been on three different Our Beijing experiences - two e-bike tours (one with a Mahjong class at the end) and a SUP trip. Every time we go out with Dom and have an experience to learn more about Beijing and get out as a family, we have a great time. Dom is wonderful and shares his love of Beijing with his guests. Every time we have done an experience, it has been great for our kids (14 & 11) as well. We look forward to doing another trip again as a family with Our Beijing. We highly recommend doing an experience to get out and about in Beijing.

The Hutong's at night, comfortable E-Scooters and Our Beijing knowledgeable guide Dominic, these are the perfect ingredients to enjoy a fantastic unforgettable experience in Beijing. Thanks Dom, it was a great combination of education and fun!

We did the Jianbing experience at home with Our Beijing and it was fantastic - I highly recommend it.

Dom is very friendly and has a great attitude. He makes you feel comfortable and have a good time right away.

They brought all the ingredients, and being four, there was food for ten!

The culinary experience is combined with a bit of history and great conversations. I would happily repeat it.

Having done the Jian Bing Workshop, Hutong E-Bike Tour and the Hutong Food Tour I can safely say Our Beijing are the people to go to for tours and activities in the big BJ. Not only do they do fantastic experiences, they also donate prizes to local causes which, in our case, helped a local orphanage. Dom is exceptionally knowledgeable, fluent in Mandarin, pretty nifty on his moped & snowboard and has a passion for good food & drink. I will be gradually working my way through his catalogue until I leave BJ. Legend!

What I love the most about Our Beijing is that they offer this huge variety of activities. It doesn't matter if you look for a fun day sightseeing in the hutongs on ebikes together with your kids or in the evening on the food tour with your friends or colleagues - I've done both and had a wonderful time. Our guide Dominic manages to combine very informative bits and fun facts with a pleasant atmosphere and yummy treats. Speaking of which, the Jian Bing workshop was one of my (not only culinary) highlights. We've spent a very relaxing time preparing the typical pancakes - again in the very capable hands of Dominic. He would know the tricks!
I personally enjoy the local impressions that you wouldn't normally have when you live in your expat bubble. When we couldn't get enough of those, we did the Mahjong workshop and found it to be very informative, but equally enjoyable. To sum up, I've had a super time every time we took part in an Our Beijing event, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends or plan the next one... :-)

We booked Dom (OurBeijing) for a trip to the great wall. Our trip was professionally organized and went smoothly. He took us to a quiet area of the great wall, which was away from the crowds. Dom was knowledgeable about the history and we got some great photos. He was even able to keep up with us when we wanted to run a section of it.

Overall, a wonderful day out which went smoothly. We will definitely be booking Dom again, and recommend anyone thinking of doing so to book too!

Going on a e-bike tour of the Hutongs was one of my first experiences of Beijing and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Since then I have gone on Great Wall hikes, food tours, and swimming trips to local rivers with Our Beijing all for the same reason: Dom's proven again and again what an amazing city this is by showing all the hidden gems and providing experiences that I never would've experienced otherwise. From zipping around the city on e-bikes, to finding delicious hidden restaurants, to the absolutely epic Great Wall hikes, each experience has been memorable. Rest assured that I will be planning future memories with Our Beijing in the future!
