Got my order and I'm so happy! I placed my order on February 2nd and already received it on the 5th, super fast shipping. I was obsessed with the cute handwritten note, the Hojicha sample, and the stickers. Such thoughtful extras that really made my day. Can't wait to keep enjoying this matcha!

Great matcha, great branding
The founder of Oura matcha is so sweet and helpful. I was not sure if I should be using culinary or ceremonial for my iced lattes and she kindly guided me through it. The matcha is so green and has no bitterness at all and on top of that the branding is adorable.

The culinary matcha isn't suitable for…
The culinary matcha isn't suitable for lattes despite the fact that it's supposed to be according to the website. Other than that the hojicha and high quality matcha are good. I understand that it's not Ouramatchas' responsibility but i had a horrible experience with the shipping itself. It arrived without any notice and the driver was angry, rude and almost sent the package back to you without giving it to me. He kicked the package and was just awful. Thank you for the bag, it's a nice gift! I hope that in the future i can choose a different delivery company that will bring me your matcha.

Once a package leaves our hands, we rely on third-party delivery companies to handle it with care, but we know that’s no excuse for rude behavior or mishandled packages. We’re actively exploring more reliable shipping options, because your experience matters to us.
As for the matcha types: our white pouch is strictly culinary matcha, meant for baking, smoothies, and recipes—not for lattes or sipping (we note this on the site and the pouch). For your latte moments, the green pouch ceremonial matcha is your go-to—it’s smoother, richer, and made for that dreamy glow-up 💫
