We hired a 2 persons tent kit for a long weekend. The delivery at the campsite went smooth and on time.
The camping gear was of good quality and met our expectations.
Also the communication with the people of the company was very pleasant and helpfull.

Ordered a harness for a climbing trip through the website - and the process of paying and hiring was very simple and straightforward. The kit arrived on the day it was meant to and was packed very well , with clear instruction on how to return it . The harness itself was exactly what was described in the listing and was in a good condition and quality . unfortunately the trip i was meant to go on was cancelled but will definitely use this company again if it gets rescheduled ! I was recommended to use Outdoor Hire by Charity Challenge to source any kit I needed for my recent climb of Mt Kilimanjaro (June 2025) and I am so glad that I did.

I rented a couple of airbeds (Exped SynMat 7 pump mattress). They were top quality, in very good condition, lightweight, easy to inflate / deflate, and simple pack away on a daily basis prior to trekking to the next camp. They remained inflated throughout the night & definitely helped with heat retention through the cold nights.

Outdoor Hire were great to deal with, the order process was quick, simple and well explained. The items arrived on time and the returns process was just as straight forward. I would definitely use Outdoor Hire again and highly recommend them. Top quality items at affordable (rentable) prices, backed by quick and easy service.

Customer service was exceptional, always answered all my questions in a timely manner and provided very competitive prices. Would recommend, if you’re at all unsure about hire equipment do not hesitate to ping them an email or two.

the kit from Outdoorhire was in a great condition, the Montana sleeping bags kept us comfortable in - 15°C.

Brilliant service thank you. The crampons hired were a high quality brand that appeared in near new condition. First class customer service as well. Excellent experience renting a Deuter Baby Carrier in the UK. Product arrived next day (even though I placed the order after the 9am cutoff). The condition of the baby carrier was excellent. Posting back was simple, and the deposit refund was processed quickly.

Traveling from the US, this was the only company that allowed me to easily rent camping gear in the London area. My gear was delivered on time and was easy to assemble. I was impressed with the quality of the gear and how it packed down easily. Would definitely recommend and rent from Outdoohire again

Can’t recommend highly enough. Quality of equipment excellent; the Mammut Barryvox avalanche is far superior to the brands rented in resorts (eg Arva) and I paid half of the resort hire cost for 3 times the duration! Ditto a solid Black Diamond shovel that you could rely on if you had to.

I was doing a winter skills mountaineering weekend so had to hire boots, crampons, axe and sleeping mat. The quality of equipment was first class and I got expert advice before making the hire. I was a little nervous beforehand but everything arrived as promised and was collected without any delays. Full refund of deposit confirmed a few days later.
