If give them 0 stars if I could. They sent me a diseased plant with browning leaves., when I complained, a manager of some sort called MARIKA was very rude and unhelpful. She’s refused to respond to my emails but it ‘s 2 things: either I get a full refund or you replace with a better and healthier plsmt worth how much I paid! What a crafty cowboy business!

Oxyplants is without doubt the best place to buy your plants. I have had many over the last couple years and the quality is outstanding on all products and the most staff are the most kind and helpful team and will go above and beyond to all your needs. The prices are great and the deals are fantasic, would not go anywhere else for my plants. Amazing service and amazing quality company.

Plant turned up completely damaged and the pot smashed! Service has been so terrible from them and refusing to provide a refund despite me reporting the issue (with photos ) at point of delivery…
Will be reporting this company to trading standards as they continue to withhold my money and ignore my emails!!

Plant delivered in poor condition with brown edges, split leaves, and leaves that have been obviously cut. Emailed 2 times with no response at all. Wish I’d checked reviews as I would never have ordered.

I placed an order asking to be delivered to my flat and pointing out to not leave the parcel in the lobby, because of thieves. Apparently the parcel was delivered and left in the lobby by the courier, and couldn’t find it. Reached out to them by email and phone. They never replied to my emails and either picked my calls. So today I have received nothing. I wouldn’t advise to buy anything from them, it seems to be a scam.

I ordered a 110-140cm rubber plant that never arrived. Dreadful delivery service from Yodel, absolutely no communication from them and they tried to deliver a damaged package to my neighbour, who refused it as it was so badly damaged. I contacted Oxy Plants only to be told that they will not refund or replace the plant until they receive it back...even though Yodel had confirmed there was a refused delivery and it was on its way back to them. Since then I've had no response to emails or calls, in fact if you try to ring them nobody answers. AVOID!

I ordered indoor ivy x 4, 60cms. Only 2 of the 4 plants were the correct size, the other 2 fell well short and were probably half that size. Packaging was okay. My order was delayed with no explanation or any updates. I emailed customer services to find out what was going on as the tracking number they provided was also invalid. Their response was ‘just track the item via the link’
LOL, no actual customer service given or apologies for the delay. Asked me to track something with an INVALID tracking number. I assumed this was a bot response as the response was most unfriendly, lacked any kind of empathy and was 100% unhelpful. But no, apparently Marika is a real person. An awful way to run a company.

Ordered my plants paying for express delivery. No sign of the order by the date id paid extra shipping costs for, so contacted the company to cancel the order as I was going to be away for the following week and didn't want the plants waiting outside to either be stolen or be damaged.

Oxyplant agreed to refund the order as it hadn't been dispatched. If this was the end of it, I wouldn't have minded - delays happen.

However, it's been over a week and no sign of my refund. The contact email address now doesn't work and neither does the contact number. As far as I can tell, this is a scam, I am out of pocket for a significant amount of money. Avoid like the plague - I'll be contacting trading standards on the hope that the company will be forced into doing the right thing.

We received late, damaged goods. The tracking number on yodel was not recognised. When we tried to contact this company the email came back as failed. When we tried to contact via phone it went straight to message which directed us to a mobile phone number which also went to message. We think this company has gone bust.

Plant started deteriorating just after 2 weeks of delivery and dead by 4th week. Marika stopped responding even though the trading standard confirmed that this company failed to provide adequate product, and the consumer rights is above Oxyplant refund terms. I chased several times and she never bothered responding. Don’t waste your money or time with this company

Scam Alert – Avoid

The plant I received was not as advertised. It was supposed to come with two plants in a pot, but one half had been removed, and the pot was broken to fit into the delivery box. Additionally, one of the plants had mealworms on it and quickly became unhealthy.

The company's response was to ask me to pay for the return, which is against Consumer Regulations. I recommend choosing Patch or Prickle Plants instead—they are slightly more expensive, but they arrive healthy and well-packaged (not boxed), ensuring better quality.

I wish I had read the reviews on here before placing an order.

The one star is for the nice website they have. 4 stars deducted for the shocking delivery company they use.

Sat at home in the front room waiting for the delivery. Front room looks out to the front door. 17 yo son at home also and the dog goes banannas when someone comes up the path and rings the doorbell or chaps the door.

Recieve an email saying the delivery is on its way back to Oxy-Plants as no one was at home and delivery was attempted.

Do yourself a favour, go somewhere local and buy your plants. You know exactly what you are getting than and you are guarantted to get it!

Our order was thrown over a fence and left - there was no email update to inform us the order had been 'delivered'. I chased the delivery, wondering where it was, to be told it had been left outside somewhere (during a heatwave).
I contacted the company again to let them know what had happened, that the plant was dead and that I wasn't satisfied and they didn't even grace me with a response.

The pot I wanted was 13cm internal width x 15cm height (I followed their guidelines for size.) The pot they sent was 12cm x 13cm. No use at all.
The pot was nice and would have been perfect if it had been the right size! Very disappointed 😞

DO NOT BUY FROM OXY PLANTS!
I have purchased various plants from Oxy plants with paying for price points that reflected the minimum height of plants advertised. None of the plants came at the heights that was advertised. Oxy plants then tried to phob me off with the promise of sending replacement plants and providing partial refunds - non of this happened to date. It is shocking to see that there is a clear disregard to basic trading standard rules and general customer care. If you had issues in the past and paid with credit card, do dispute the charge with your credit card provider! In the first instance however buy from other reputable providers and avoid the same disappointment!

I purchased a 110-140cm tall Kentia Palm from Oxy Plants (£49.99). It arrived promptly and was reasonably well-packed. Disappointingly however the plant looked to have some kind of fungal or bacterial infection. Nonetheless I gave it a few weeks to recover and elevated it in a ceramic pot so the roots didn’t stand in water. The plant was positioned near my patio doors in plenty of natural / indirect light. I added liquid plant food when watering, keeping the soil moist but being careful not to over-water. It was also misted twice-weekly. Three weeks after delivery more leaves had turned yellow and perished, while others had black withered patches. I contacted Oxy’s support team to ask for a replacement plant and was met with a dismissive reply from ‘Marika’ telling me that since I was outside the 14-day return period there was nothing they could do. Under the distance selling regulations 2 weeks is the minimum statutory return period for any online order which suggests Oxy have little faith in their products. As others have noted they are cheaper for a reason and I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Never answer the phone, cancel orders, slow shipping even when you pay for next day delivery! First order went well, although really slow delivery and a nightmare to get hold of by phone, second order and an absolute disaster, won't be using a third time, taken our business elsewhere, sorry!

Bought several plants from Oxy as they were cheaper than other suppliers. There’s a reason they are cheaper - the plants are in poor shape. I suspect they are buying up plants that other companies wouldn’t sell. Ny bird of paradise arrived with one large leaf snapped in half to fit in the box that was too small. It won’t recover. My snake plant which should be unkillable…isn’t growing any more as the ends of the leaves are all dead. My fiddle fig had 5 out of 15 leaves damaged. I won’t buy from them again, it’s a false economy. Go to Patch or Beard and Daisies.
