No hassles at all.

I read a number of the reviews, and was sceptical, but my order (2 now out-of-print board games) arrived relatively promptly, and was exactly what I ordered. I got tracking info, and can't fault the service.

If there were issues before, there don't seem to be any now.

I would recommend them.

SCAM ALERT! HANNAH CANT BE TRUSTED!!

Prior to placing my order I contacted ozgameshop.com to ensure that they would be able to fulfil the order. Hannah responded confirming that they would have the game in stock and would be able to complete the order. I placed the order 28 August 2024 the game was a preorder and released 29 October 2024. When the order was not dispatched on or before the release date I tried to contact Hannah again, however, Hannah did not respond. After sending multiple emails and Facebook messages, I was finally informed that “unfortunately we are still waiting for the item to be dispatched” and asked if I’d like to wait or have the order cancelled and refunded. Despite informing Hannah that I was in fact happy to wait for the order, Hannah deliberately ignored this and cancelled my order without my consent or permission. No compensation has been offered despite withholding my money from 28 August 2024 to 02 November 2024 despite obviously being fully aware that they were unable to fulfil my order. I am seeking that the second order I placed 20 September 2024 be fully refunded as I suspect I won’t be receiving this order either. I regret giving this company a second chance as I never received the order I placed 27 June 2021 as I incorrectly assumed that 3 years after that experience ozgameshop.com might have actually done something to improve, clearly this is not the case so I won’t be placing any future orders with them and caution anyone considering placing an order with them as you won’t receive it, you’ll have to fight for a refund and only end up placing that same order elsewhere so save your time and money and purchase elsewhere.

Purchased a Hornby Train set from…

Purchased a Hornby Train set from OzGameShop for an absolutely excellent price, and arrived from the UK to Australia within two weeks. You don't even get that kind of speed from buying local.

Would buy off them again.

Took money from my account but no…

Took money from my account but no confirmation of order. When I emailed one email bounced back, then received another saying my payment had rejected. Sent them a copy of the card transaction. No response. Can’t get hold of them by phone despite waiting for over an hour to speak to them. Was for my daughters birthday but am now out of pocket. Would not recommend

Im going by personal experience so far…

Im going by personal experience so far and rating this truthfully and critically, so if it talks like a duck, walks like a duck, ozgames has allot of suss things on there sites such as:

Aus business address but resides in UK.
Told to AVOID by Google search in its legitimacy.
No approval logos from the acc.
Only email as a communication method.
Poor communication with customers.

Ordered 2 incent holders and never received an email confirmation or receipt for my purchase but took my money. I'm very interested as to why this happens?and whom claims responsibility for this? Because I'd like to change my mind or be assured i will receive what I purchased.

I can confirm that we are an Australian registered business but all items are shipped from the UK where our warehouse is based.

This information is visibly stated on our Delivery & Payment page as well as our Terms of Sale

We state this information so customers are aware that all items are shipped overseas before placing an order with us.

We have various methods of contacting us such as email, Live chat, telephone and social media.

Our customer service team work Monday to Friday between 9am-4:30pm and responds within 24hrs

In regards to your order, an order confirmation email will have been sent automatically when your order was placed.

I can see that we responded to your email sent yesterday (7th August) and responded within 12hrs confirming your order had been shipped and provided you with a tracking number.

Good customer service

I needed to cancel my order with ozgameshop.com and sent the request via email. They emailed me back within a day or two and the cancellation and refund were processed within 24 hours. I was a bit concerned due to the negative reviews I had read online, however I experienced friendly and helpful customer service. Thanks!

Refused to give me a refund after 7 months of delays

I've used them before and have had a good experience. But recently they had some technical problems and said my order was delayed. I patiently waited 7 months. When I contacted them and said it's taken too long and that I'd like a refund they said they can't do that due to issues as well. This is very scummy. I will be making a complaint to the ACC. I'd not buy from them in the future.

Order placed 12/9/22. No goods received. No communication. Nothing. Looks VERY like a scam 😡

Update. I have had an email from this company assuring me that refund will be paid when a few technical issues have been sorted. I’ll update this review when refund is received 👍

SCAM ALERT!!!

Last month my kid bought a game online with ozgameshop and after, just over a month now, I never got a reply or response to the fact they had been taken over by some other business and the progress of my kid's purchased item. After contacting them, a couple of days ago, they had the audacity to inform me that unless I opened up an account with PayPal I would not get my full refund, since they could no longer provide me with the purchased item. Since then, we've gone back and forwards a few times now, and they refuse to refund me via a simple wire transfer (bank account), even though I explained I no longer have an account with PayPal nor do I intend to. Still awaiting on their response, since I sent them another email today, it's SCAM artists like these that give small/medium businesses a bad name. Only gave them a one star, because there was nothing smaller... It's not a matter of money, but ethics and morality!

Unfortunately PayPal won't allow us to refund your original transaction due to you closing the account, I'm afraid we cannot send money to a bank account due to security issues.

We've asked you open the original account so we can process the refund and as you're refusing to do this we have said you can do a request money which again unfortunately, you're refusing.

Therefore there's no other way we can refund you, I appreciate this is frustrating but unfortunately, we do ask that you not close an account when you've placed a payment.

Dodgy site

Dodgy site, do not use. Ordered two items, thinking price and postage was competitive. Received an email with an order number and a vague outline of delivery times from a no reply email, alarm bells there. Allowed 4 weeks to pass, no tracking number, no updates about delivery. Made an attempt to contact them and email bounced back. Luckily Pay Pal gave full refund. Avoid this fraudulent site.

No package, website gone and no contact email.

Firstly, they are NOT an Australian site despite the name but I’ve had plenty of good purchases in the past, mainly vinyl records and games. They were slow to arrive but overall very good prices and stock. Now, however, I worry they have gone into administration? I placed an order a month ago. The online chat person confirmed the game was PAL so they were still actively trading and responding to questions. Now, a month later the game was never sent and the website is deactivated. The contact us email doesn’t work either. I have no way to contact them or see about a refund or replacement. I hope they’re not bankrupt, as I enjoyed shopping with them in the past. Honestly, my previous review would rate them highly but I have to leave this negative review in hopes of alerting people of this odd situation and because my son didn’t get the game he asked for on his birthday because I was still waiting like a fool for it to arrive. Very worrying!

We do make it clear on our website that we are an Australia-registered business but our warehouse and main office is located in the UK.
This information is stated on various points of our website.
Also yes OZGameshop sales channel did go into administration but has been bought by a new owner who has transferred all old orders, staff, and stock.
Our website is currently down as we're in the progress of moving servers (We did put a post out on Facebook explaining this in more detail)
Please don't worry about the website we aren't going anywhere!
The upgraded website will have some amazing features which will improve the customer experience whilst maintaining our great value products and 5 star Customer Service.

Ordered 2 Seasons of Pretty Little…

Ordered 2 Seasons of Pretty Little Liars on the 2nd of September, by the 26th of Sept I had no indication of whether or not my order had even been sent. I was unable to contact ozgames, as they have a no reply email, & when I tried their complaints line, it was under construction...... I eventually went through PayPal resolutions & funnily enough was given a refund on the spot, no explanation given. Please be careful, can't really recommend this site.

Sadly there have been major technical problems which has caused all orders to be delayed.
Our team is working around the clock to get all matters resolved.
You may have seen the banner on our website before our site went into maintenance but due to the system issues we are facing the normal email system customers use is down.
Sadly when a customer opened a claim through PayPal we no longer have the ability to provide 'Customer Service' and can only appeal or accept the claim.
Our team is working really hard on the website upgrade which will improve the customer experience.

Great option for gamers who are too busy

Had cheaper and larger stock levels in comparison than your standard gaming retailers so a great option if you don't have time to click and collect and you don't want to pay for shipping
