What an absolute con artist

What an absolute con artist. I hope they close their doors permanently. Never buy from these thieves they have no morals or sole. I could write a book on the last 18 months of foul experience that I have had with this person. I look forward to the Karma that you will have coming your way one day for all of the employees that you never paid and all of the consumers that you have ripped off. All without a care in the world but yourself.

Avoid at all costs.

If owner doesn’t pay his employees don’t expect a refund

As an ex employee of the place I would highly recommend avoiding it as much as possible.
When the CEO is court ordered to pay their employee but still refuses too should say enough… so don’t be expecting a refund if he won’t even pay his employees when the government is telling him too.

Regardless you can take 1 look and have a read of the reviews and you will want to avoid the company all together.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

If I could rate this company with negative stars, they would get the lowest possible rating. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS - THEY ARE SUBSTANDARD QUALITY! THEY DO NOT PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RATHER CUSTOMER NON-SERVICE AND DISSATISFACTION.
I unfortunately purchased a pair of headlight light replacement units for my 120 Series Prado in August ‘24. I picked them up from their outlet in Perth and subsequently had them installed by a mechanic friend, this required the bulbar to be removed and replaced. They worked for one day! The following day, the RHS one failed to work correctly whilst the LHS one still functioned. I now have an unroadworthy car!
I contacted the local outlet where I had purchased them from on 28th August 2024 and was referred to a "Compliance Officer" in Sydney, to whom I supplied pictures of the defective light as requested, at this point thinking the issue would an easy replacement of new part for faulty part. Numerous emails ensued in an attempt to have the issue rectified; then a phone call from a representative who said he had the authority to fix everything, he openly detailed the quality issues with this product and the known faults that caused the light unit to fail, stating the item had been removed from sale because of the issues and promised to resolve it promptly....this was the last I heard from him! His promises were all empty and without truth.
Then they wanted videos of the faulty lights, that I supplied these three times as supposedly on the first two occasions they were unable to view the video taken with a Samsung phone and sent directly, this time to a new compliance officer who had been assigned to the case. By October 17 still no resolution. Now it was the wiring in my car that was under scrutiny despite the earlier admissions of product quality issues.
Then 22 October an offer of a store credit, what good is store credit to me? I have a defective, unroadworthy vehicle with their defective product in it, and I am out of pocket for the installation cost as well. Oh, and as a bonus I can keep their defective lights! NO WAY! I want my money back.
Now the demands start from the Compliance Officer, return the lights (to Sydney as their Perth Store is now closed permanently), at my cost and they will “assess the issue”. I asked for the freight to be paid by them, this was denied. What a joke! Customer dis-service at its best! A fruitless exchange of emails followed, quoting portions of consumer law to try and wiggle out of their responsibilities.
In November, I lodged a complaint with Consumer Protection; this followed due process with this company still digging in their heels and refusing to refund unless I paid for the freight to Sydney, this despite being advised that it was their responsibility to do so. The Consumer Protection, Conciliation Officer handled the communications from this point.
The conciliation process was drawn to a close without result, with the next step being a case before the Magistrates Court. This was conveyed to this company!
February 2025…. Out of the blue, a notice of refund appears, for the purchase amount!
What a complete waste of six months of everyone’s time and energy. Deal with them at your own peril.

don't shop here

Do yourself a favour and don’t shop here. You can find a lot of their items cheaper elsewhere, often direct from the supplier e.g. Oricom radios. Their shipping costs are ridiculous. Their site states a 1 year warranty on electrical, not worth wiping your backside with. I purchased some 120 series prado LED headlights, straight out of the box you could tell they were poorly made by the rough plastic casting edges. Plug connectors have a weak connection. The high beam was weaker than the low beam. One of the low beam sealed units was loose inside the headlight and wobbles around at idle from engine vibration which you notice when stationary behind someone at the lights. The plastic lens also eventually began crock cracking after 8 months. I had months of communications trying to get it sorted out. They incrementally offered me $50 store credit and eventually $550 store credit, clearly admitting the product is faulty. Replacement was eventually considered only if I post the headlights back at my cost first (obviously not a solution, could not drive my car and out of pocket more, plus no way am I fitting that junk back in my car again). Don’t be lazy and sleep on your warranty claims because paypal only back you up to 180 days. Reluctantly, I took the $550 credit and bought some recovery gear and a radio. Ordered new lights from Panel House, cheaper price and way better quality. They have arrived before my $550 store credit order and the postage was a fraction of the price ozi4x4 charge. Ozi4x4 lights are going in the bin. Shop anywhere else!

This company are scammers. Read their reviews. Bought a product/ got supplied a different product/ told to live with it. So then I got nasty... threatened with legal action... I will and have won the battle... good luck ozi4x4

1. your son who purchased the product back last year 2023 had a issue with fitting the product.
we clearly have stated to you and your son that a professional installer is highly recommended.

2 you asked for longer bolts we offered you a partial refund to by the longer bolts that is needed
and you and your son both declined the offer.

not sure what legal action you are talking about as there is no pending cases.

They were missing parts for my tray, I emailed them and the bossman rang me up and was very apologetic even offered me a set of new headlights for the trouble, he’s ending up sending me a whole new fitting kit, love this man’s work!

Terrible company

Terrible company, I bought a canopy from them and the sealant needed for all doors wasn’t provided, I asked them via email for the sealant and they denied it existed even tho it’s clearly listed in the instructions manual and is in the video on their website. After a week of emailing them back and forth they have stood strong on the fact they are not going to supply it. Now I’m left with a canopy that I need to source an integral part for at my own cost. Dumb founded

I bought side steps from Ozi4*4 on 20/05/24 from their store. After taking my money, they informed me they couldn't find the bracket for it. I returned multiple times in hopes of getting the bracket, but they never found it. Frustrated, I requested a refund. They assured me it would be processed in 3 business and i do have the confirmation email , but to this day, I haven't received it. They claim they processed the refund on May 24th, yet it never arrived. Now, they're saying there's an issue and are avoiding the refund altogether. I've had to escalate this matter to Fair Trading due to their unprofessional behavior.

It's appalling to deal with a company that shows such disregard for its customers. Despite spending a significant amount of money with them previously, their lack of respect and failure to fulfill basic customer service expectations is unacceptable. I've personally spoken to Huss the owner, Mohammed, and Alan through email, including in person with text messages, but nothing has been done to resolve this issue or issue the refund. Avoid Ozi4*4 if you value your time and money.

Zip Pay had an issue on their end not ours.

if we had refunded you via your bank account and then Zip Pay would of refunded you
that would of been double payment to you.

This is the reason why it took so long as we had to investigate with zip pay why the payment did not go through and this took awhile for Zip Pay to get back to us.

i also noticed that the payment eventually was refunded to you.

Worst customer service

*Edit I couldn’t reply to the message sent by them, but they did not in fact ship to my house after I paid the extra money, they shipped to some depo and said the shipping company didn’t want to drive to my address. After paying additional money for shipping that’s rediculous.

Rear Bar purchased 12 months ago

Rear Bar purchased 12 months ago, I told them I wanted to tow a car trailer with a full sized family car and was told I wouldn’t find a better rear bar/tow pack anywhere.
Well after towing our camper from Townsville to Cooroy we pulled off the highway and about two minutes later while pulling up at an intersection the rear bar/tow pack failed catastrophically sending our camper up the backend of our Toyota Landcruiser. After we got the situation sorted out and camper towed to a safe place I emailed them to advise them of the failure to which they sent a return email telling me to fill out a complaint form which they kindly attached a link to.
I boiled at that point and returned serve by advising them that I’m not complaining however, my insurance company will be the next people they will be speaking to in order for OZI4x4 will be paying to replace their rubbish product, repair the damage to the rear of my car and the damage to our Camper.

Lying sales people

I wasn't very happy with the service as they straight up lied to me to get my money.

I had a front bar, rear bar and winch in my cart after looking through their website one night.
They called me the next day and said that they could do a better deal on the postage price if I went through with the sale ( still expensive, I paid about $700 postage instead of over $1000)

It was a pre order for the bars.
the lady said that they would arrive at their workshop in 4 weeks maximum, then be sent to me in a further 2 weeks.

It took nearly 4 months for my items to arrive.Instead of sending me my items, they waited until they opened their perth store and just made me wait.

I also had to pick up my items from the shop instead of them delivering my items, when I paid for delivery.

The place is called 'ozi4x4' but all of the instructions are in Chinese?

The bolt holes line up poorly and the items are all very light weight trash... but you get what you pay for.
I was just upset that they straight up lied to me about the postage and delivery.

The young blokes at the kenwick depot were friendly, cool to talk to and helped me load up my trailer, its not their fault that they work for a nasty company.

Horrible customer service, misleading website and staff don't know much about the products they sell

I ordered some products from the website but immediately afterwards requested an exchange for a product that was higher in value. I didn't get a response after multiple attempts so out of frustration I asked for a refund on an order item. No response to that request for almost 2 months. In the end I picked up the items just out of curiosity and feeling like there's no other way out. To be fair, two of the items are good quality (weathering will test that statement) but one item was practically useless to me due to the finish and quality. Reading the reviews, I knew that fighting OZI4x4 would only be a waste of time. I sold off that item at my own loss but it wasn't as big of a loss as their restocking fee for returned items (30% of the value).

If you are worried about your identity, they will ask you for a photo ID when picking up your goods. You are not legally obligated to do show ID. If you have an order number or a receipt for sale, they can't restrict you from collecting your items. If they need proof of purchase, ask them for another method of proof that they will accept.

I do not recommend buying from OZI4X4 unless you absolutely know the risks, know exactly what you want (i.e. don't expect any informed help) and feel like reading tomes of legal disclaimers and conditions hidden away on their website.

Beware of Ozzy4X4, they offer a lot but give very little after you pay.

I purchase a Ferocious tray and a roobar, which were guaranteed to fit a new dual cab Amarok. The quality of the items seems very good but unfortunately, I could get no help from their support staff.

We needed some instruction on how to fit the roobar and the support person had no knowledge of the product. The only advice was "get some professional help" even though we have all the professional help required inhouse in our company.

The tray did not fit the car without some modification to the mounting brackets. The side draws and mudguards did not fit either as the Amarok chassis is too wide to enable the accessories to bolt into the mounting holes on the tray. 30mm incorrect on each side.

The Ozy4x4 support person would not believe this even though multiple photos and videos were sent to him over many days. After getting advice from his "team", he said the tray is "engineered", great, does not mean it fits. No offer of help here either.

I am still waiting for the taillights as advertised when I purchased the products. Support told me that they will not be supplied.

I wanted to give the products back as they did not fit and was informed that as per the conditions of purchase, I would have to forgo 30% of the purchase and freight cost.

I have reported these concerns to the company with no response.

Dodgy crew here, be careful purchasing anything here.
