Just Yes or No After waiting for 34 days

After waiting for 34 days, I called Paddio and told them to cancel my application for mortgage. They couldn’t say Yes or No inspite of waiting for 34 days. Never ever Paddio to work!..

Ask for Cassandra Hernandez

I will, have, and need to tell everyone about this company and my team specifically. I've already bragged to anyone that'll listen basically that this company is the only reason we actually went through with the home buying process. Amazing people. And I looked into the company and practically every current and previous employee had nothing but great things to say. So the company is to be praised as well. Treat your people well and they will treat their clients well. And this is very very clear in this company. 100/10.

Bogus and dishonest, RUN

This company operates a like a conveyor belt you're just an item ready to be boxed up and sent out. They also manage their reviews insights so they do go in and edit them and put in also a bogus response to the complaint it is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with especially calling themselves lenders which is a professional business supposedly and is handled professionally. When you called you reach a call center lots of noise and people talking in the background like you're calling overseas for customer service I spoke to two lenders so they called themselves that I'm not quite sure they are they all sounded like they were 20 years old my personal information I only trust with someone who I know I can feel trusted in the way they spoke to me on the phone and answering my question was very juvenile they also both hung up on me when I began to ask ask more detail questions first off it is very rude to hang up on someone but it's also very childish too which is what I was dealing with I would not recommend this company you're just a number there is no professionalism whatsoever they also tried to tell me that my credit score was lower than it supposed to be when I'm a member of a credit union and they gave me my exact credit scores they called my credit union a liar another juvenile comment run away from this company there are better ones out there. Also it's important that you know that your credit score is exactly what they have because the lower the score the more interest you pay and they didn't like me knowing exactly what it was.

If everything in your life is perfect

If everything in your life is perfect, Paddio may be a satisfactory company. If not, avoid at all costs. Their loan officers do not know how to read a credit report. They do not know all the rules for loans like VA. They do not call back when they say they will and they will not work for you at all. They are little more than Data Entry clerks. I spoke to another agency the same day as we were delivered our denial and he was shocked at what we told him. By the next day he said he had entered our information, spoke to a VA loan rep AT the VA and said we had preliminary approval. Paddio has been jacking us around for almost 2 months. I am 61 years old. I tend not to spend time writing bad reviews, but if this review can save 1 person the trouble that we have went through it will be worth it. Absolutely the worst company I have dealt with and I have bought several used cars.

Update: Day 4 with new company. We are approved for a VA loan. If I could give Paddio -4 stars I would

Ashlyn Bradley.

Ashlyn Bradley.. a name I will not likely forget anytime soon. Our home buying situation came with many personal hurdles from purchasing our long standing lease home that we maintained, loved and dreamed of owning for years only to have the “Welcome Home” mat pulled out from underneath us due to a rush to sell to investors right out from underneath us. With the clock ticking, our loan officer Ashlyn got to work. She was positive, upfront, professional and answered all of our questions quickly, all the things you’d receive from any loan officer just doing their job but then something changed. I think she could sense the panic in my voice as this wasn’t just a house that we were interested in, it was already our home. A home full of memories, photos, trees we planted with our grandchild etc and there was a good chance it was going to taken away if we couldn’t secure a mortgage and beat the investors. With each message requesting documents or just an update on our loan process, a friendly supportive message came with it. We weren’t just another client to her. She not only has handled every aspect of our mortgage process professionally, she provide to reassurance and kindness that I so desperately needed during such a stressful time. I’ve had many disapproving nods or advice to not use an internet mortgage company such as Paddio but after my experience with Paddio, I wouldn’t ever want to go back to the typical loan process of just being a number waiting for a cold rubber stamp. Purchasing a home can be one of the most stressful processes you’ll encounter from choosing rates, high fees, competition from other buyers, the list goes on and on. What Paddio offers is what’s missing from big banks. They employ these wonderful people that are naturally caring individuals that see you as a person, not just a customer. If you have perfect credit, lots of cash flow and have no concerns whatsoever when making large purchases, the standard big bank lenders are a good fit. If your just a regular hard working family that’s had their share of ups and downs and you’d like to be treated with the respect you deserve instead of being treated as big lenders feel your file deserves, go with Paddio. Take it a step further and request Ashlyn Bradley. She’s young, a go getter, professional and will get the job done. We are in the final stages now of our process and I would usually have waited to enter a review about my experience with a company until the finish line but the confidence I have found in Ashlyn has turned what was once a nightmare into a dream that is about to come true. Thank you Paddio for your exceptional business model and procedures and most importantly, providing your clients with the most skilled loan officers in the country.

YIKES!!

YIKES! Where do we begin!

Anyone considering Paddio, consider this a huge WARNING: They will do whatever it takes to wiggle into your homebuying process.

We found a home we were interested in. Our loan officer Stevie Flottmann sent us big "CONGRATULATIONS! Everything looks great! I am so excited for you and your family!" after running all of our numbers.

Fast forward, immediately after we put in our offer, she comes back with "Underwriting Declined, they need more information". They requested a profit/loss statement, a letter to the underwriting of what our business does and a long list of strange requests. Which we provided. At this point we had a backup lender on stand-by who said our file is PRISTINE who we inevitably went with.

Every time we provided the information they requested, they'd come back with more requests. We provided all, with flying colors. Our business has made a profit each year.. Ultimately our loan officer simply said "It's something about your file the underwriter just does not like".

I would not be surprised if this lender is found in violation of the ECOA up the road. AVOID!!

Truly the best experience

they were trying to be sneaky

i would not recommend going through Paddio go through any other place do your research and be careful because they tried to jack up their interest rate really high. but you guys refused to tell me the interest rates until I signed the paperwork

Lack of communication

Lack of communication Andy Vl Loan officer And the loan coordinator Jordan W are horrible the underwriters suck and I am about to lose the house was looking forward to closing 9/12 underwriters asked for more documents and now due to close 9/16 with the loan commitment due 9/14 have not responded to my emails or to my realtor crazy dont waste your time with Paddio

Would use again in a heartbeat

Paddio as a company was awesome. Our closing took 25 minutes and even the lawyer commented on how quick/easy it was. I cannot thank enough my loan officer (John Haywood) and my loan officer (Deanna Williams). They were amazing. Quick, efficient and always available. Their communication was great and thoroughly explained every step and answered all of my questions. Highly recommended!

They lie about your credit score so you…

They lie about your credit score so you will end up working with some credit counseling company and not for free they said mind was 590 when another lender pull it wow with in 24 hours it jumped to 658 run from this company

I’m not exactly sure without looking at your file, but it sounds like some wires were crossed communicating expectations when it comes to pulling credit. The changes in your score when shopping mortgage lenders are common regardless of the lenders you apply for credit with. Pulling your credit is a necessary step when mortgage shopping. It shouldn’t hurt your credit in theory, consumerfinance.gov says, “Within a 45-day window, multiple credit checks from mortgage lenders are recorded on the credit report as a single inquiry.” You can read the rest of this article here: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/ask-cfpb/what-exactly-happens-when-a-mortgage-lender-checks-my-credit-en-2005/.

The credit counseling program we offer is actually in-house and completely free when your credit scores put a roadblock in front of your goal to buy a home. You’re not required to use it, but we provide this to keep you on track to do so. If you wish not to, that’s your prerogative. Avoid the headache…

Wasted 2 months in escrow with this lender and ended up losing the house. Underwriters are horrible at their jobs through this company it doesn’t matter how good your loan officer is. A loan coordinator walked out on their job with them causing serious delays in communication and documents. They needed about 4-6 letters from my employer explaining my “declining income” when in reality the hours were all at 80 total hours biweekly or more explained to them both through me, my hr department, and my supervisor. They wanted so many documents a week prior to closing with no communication that we had to constantly push closing dates and then they kept requesting more. Save yourself time and a headache and just go through a trusted lender in your area.

The absolute best company I have worked with

This was my fourth time going through the mortgage process and first time with Paddio. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful and easy the Paddio team made the process. I would not only recommend them to my friends and family, but to anyone who needs a mortgage. The realtors they recommended for selling my house, and for finding a new one were absolutely the best people for the job. I feel like I won the lottery with Paddio, because everyone I worked with throughout the entire process was absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly, and I felt their investment in helping me find and finance my new home.
