I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and unfortunately had a very disturbing experience. The apartment was infested with cockroaches—so many that they were even crawling on the bunk bed where my child was sleeping. He developed a rash from the insects crawling on his legs.

Management attempted to “treat” the unit, but never informed me that this meant we needed to vacate for four hours. Even after the treatment, the roaches remained everywhere. When I asked for another unit, they told me nothing was available. Instead, they offered only $50 toward a future stay, which is completely unacceptable given the circumstances.

A place that cannot ensure basic cleanliness, safety, and transparency with guests should not be renting accommodations. I would strongly caution others against staying here.

I have stayed several times in the area and have never had a bad experience. This experience was not bad however the condo itself was very disappointing! I understand this is a rental property but First Impression not good! PROS: 1. When we got there we did have difficulty using the door lock. Communication was made to the office and we received a prompt message and someone repaired the lock. Kudos for the prompt service! 2. Comfortable bed 3. Sufficient kitchen supplies. CONS: The condo itself has been neglected!! The shade on the lamp cracked in numerous places, handle broke on frig, door of frig rusted, vents rusted, bathroom hardware peeling and rusted, paint used for touch up was a different color, no ceiling fan in bedroom, holes not patched in shower. I don’t like posting negative reviews but hoping the pictures sent to the rental office and posting a review will encourage someone to spend a few hundred dollars to make the condo more presentable!! I will use Padre Escapes again as in the past but will not rent #111 El Constante.

After canceling our week long trip due to Covid 2020 we were given a 40% discount assurance on our next booking instead of a refund of our $800+ in deposits. Today when I attempted to book with the discount the management company would not work with my family to apply the promised discount worth over $450. As a business owner myself I think they could have tried harder to resolve the issue in a positive way. We will not book there again, they did not honor any refund or discount codes that were promised through emails. Our family will now be booking elsewhere.

Great customer service. Place we stayed was very clean. We did have one minor issue with the place but Padreescapes were very easy to get a hold of and deal with. Will definitely use them again to find our next vacation place.

The condo is beautiful and clean! The beds were comfortable. We sat on the balcony overlooked the canal. The pool area has picnic tables under awnings. There was no bbq grill on the property. There is ample parking. The only drawback is that there is only bathroom upstairs. We shared the condo with another couple, I would like to have a private bathroom.

First time to there for family reunion. Would go back again. Easy check in and out.

Great place to stay. Minutes from the beach. All the creature comforts. Excellent staff to work with on issues (very few).

Overall, this place was a great place, very nice, very clean. I was disappointed because the website and the original contract stated there was going to be two King beds in two bedrooms. It turned out to be one King in one bedroom and a smaller bed in the other bedroom. Also, I think it would be safer to add more parking spaces so people don't have to park in the street. I would still recommend this place to others!

Padre Escapes is fantastic! The staff is responsive to requests for information. For our recent stay, I would like the thank you for allowing us to check in early! It was 100+ degrees when we arrived in Corpus Christi, the kids were ready to swim, and I wanted some air conditioning. So when they called and said we could check in early, I was extremely happy. This is not the first time we have used Padre Escapes to book a vacation. I do and have recommended them to family and others.

We have been staying at El Constante since the mid 80’s and really appreciate the efforts the new management company is doing to better the property. Everyone was very nice and helpful! We love the pool and you just can beat the proximity to the beach! We will definitely come back!!

My family and I have ALWAYS had our annual beach trip to North Padre. Over the last 20 years , we have stayed at El Constante numerous of times because of their awesome hospitality. Thankyou for always being consistent .

We normally stay on the beach view side because it's easier to load and unload stuff. Extremely huge mosquitoes so don't forget to buy off! Spray.

Also, thank you for regulating the swimming pool. We noticed a lot more space at the pool . Thank you. We will see y'all next year again !

The condos are always very clean. Love using Padre Escapes!

We had a wonderful stay. The check-in / check-out was so easy.
The amenities were great. We were on the third floor, however, and there aren't elevators. The view from that floor was awesome. So, to trade the view for staying on the first floor might be a deal breaker.

Beautiful place exactly as it was shown in the photos. Everything was already there towels, sheets and dishes all we needed to do was unpack and enjoy our vacation.

Have been coming to El Constante for years, The room we were given was sub par. Not enough Towels, Towel racks were falling off the wall in two bathrooms. Not fond of having to go on line to report a problem.
Otherwise our stay was good.

We had an amazing time, the condo was perfect, clean and not to far from the beach. The children really loved the game machines, Thank you so much! We will recommend to friends and family

Our family had a great time. The rental was ready, clean and perfect for us. I only wish we stayed longer
