Work completed in an hour, jammed bifold door rusted and locking mechanism needed replacing. My issue is with price, talk about rip off Britain, £412 inc locking mechanism £195 plus VAT, don’t know where they get their prices but dearest on line £120 inc vat. Great rates of pay, basically £250 an hour, obviously in the wrong business.
Page Security came out to a key stuck in a lock and changed the type of lock to a high security lock that involves each key being more than £15 each (purchased via them), we didn't request nor were we consulted about a high security lock being installed. They refused to come back out and put a like for like lock back in. Having demanded payment on-site at the time they had no reason to be helpful afterwards and they made sure they weren't!
How disappointing when word of mouth recommendations are so important.
I contacted The Locksmiths after experiencing a problem with my UPVC back door lock. Gareth, was polite and reassuring on the phone and gave me a specific one hour time slot in which he would be arriving so I didn't need to wait in all day. The problem with the lock was solved quickly and efficiently and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, I've saved the number into my phone just in case!
