I have been really enjoying this Paid Reader Club. I have experienced more, different books because of them. I'm going to be reading before bed anyways, may as well switch it up a little-- and to be... See more

Great way to make some money
Great way to make some money: read books, leave a review, and make a few dollars. You will not get rich, but you will supplement your income nicely.
I don't know how this company even…
I don't know how this company even rates a three. I joined. Read my unpaid first book I. The allotted amount of time. Did the review. The Paid Readers Club acknowledged I submitted, and then I received a message from them that said I didn't submit. I tried to resubmit and couldn't even get to the page to submit. It tells that I haven't read any books. So I tried again. The problem is now that every book I start, if I leave the site, I can never get back to the book! Or it wants me to download it again.
I'm done. I can go to a 9-5 job and get paid as well, with less hassle than this site is.
I Love PRC!
I recently retired from ghostwriting. My focus now is dancing (I’m a dancer), learning Spanish with Duolingo, and reading. Because I’m a voracious reader, I looked into PRC. I’m very impressed with the site and how user-friendly it is, including being able to download the books to my Kindle. Furthermore, I love nonfiction, and there are lots of nonfiction books offered at PRC that interest me. I hope PRC is around for many years to come.
They will never let me go.
Somehow they got a hold of my email, I likely gave it to them when I was super tired and was going to come back and check them out later.
Well, I've changed my mind and they've yet to relinquish my email. I've clicked "Click here to close your account and unsubscribe" numerous times, I've blocked them numerous times, I've sent them angry messages on their help desk which directed me to their facebook group, of which I had to tag them and request to join and angrily post like 3 times with nothing, it took until I messaged admins of the group and left comments on other posts in the group before it was addressed.
Was I kind? No.
Could I have handled it better? Yes.
Should I have had to go that far for it to have been seen and acknowledged? No.
I have blocked sender and I feel like I will be seeing these damn emails in my junk file until the day I die because they refuse to fix this actual glitch on their end.
So, go in being 100% committed to it or else.

I looked at Paid Reader Club and decided it wasn’t for me. I have tried numerous times to unsubscribe from their emails and am still getting them, sometimes several a day. I do not want to join, but they don’t have any other way to contact them.
I had a number of problems
I had a number of problems. Now I've tried to unsubscribe 5 times. It states I'm unsubscribed but I can't get them to quit sending me emails.

Get paid to read books
I have been getting paid to read books for PRC for about six weeks. Interesting variety of books to read and review. Supportive Facebook group to help with any tech issues.
Not worth it - Reviews take too long to post, so you may miss your chance to collect your money
Amazon reviews take a while to post, and unless you're staying on top of requesting extensions (one wasn't enough for me), then your book disappears from your account and from the book options, so you're out of luck. Waste of time.

Opening up you read genres
Nice way to make extra money. It's not a lot but it adds up. Plus you get to read books and read some book you wouldn't normally pick and find yourself really enjoyable.
I very briefly subscribed
I very briefly subscribed, then realized I didn't want to continue. I have unsubscribed, & cancelled my account many times. I have contacted the company on Facebook. To no avail. They continue to send emails constantly. At this point, It's digital harassment. I think they are extremely disreputable, as you cannot find any direct contact ith the actual company, or its' parent company. Very sketchy. And, there are other reviews where people complain of not being able to contact them. These sorts of practices should not be allowed. Beware of any company that you cannot actually contact when there's a problem.
It's ok
I appreciate that it's a minor income source. I don't appreciate that sometimes they refuse your review if they don't like what you say.

I love Paid Reader Club
I love Paid Reader Club! You get to read and review new books for Amazon. You really get paid for writing reviews. I have found multiple books I have enjoyed that I may not have tried before. I only wish Amazon would allow us to review more without a time constraint.
