Paintbox Studios are simply excellent. They help you to develop as an artist by giving you your very personal advice and teaching. Their focus is on you, helping you to develop the skills you need to discover and realise your own artistic endeavour.
Great atmosphere, creative direction and guidance from everyone involved. Never having drawn or painted before, Adam and Jess have encouraged and taught techniques to help me steadily progress from the basics to oils and water colours, via acrylics and pastels. They let you explore and develop while always being on hand to answer questions and make suggestions.
I love Paintbox Studioes, and I adore the team there. Having been pushed towards science as a youngster, spending more time on art was always an itch I wanted to scratch. Paintbox is fulfilling that in spades. I am learning loads - techniques and about artists themselves - and getting the satisfaction of producing some pieces of art I never thought I could do. I am pushed and challenged to let go of instinctive habits and adopt more artistic / painterly approaches. it's my one time of the week where I am doing something for myself and absolutely loving it
