This is the first time I've used this site. They were far cheaper than my nearest retailer for Sadolin Paint even given the high delivery cost of £5.99. I got a 10% discount and the delivery arrived the following day. I used the paint quickly, needed more and ordered 10 minutes before the deadline of 1-0p.m.and Hey Presto it arrive the following day and I was able to finish painting the shed. I'm delighted with their promptness and service.

Before ordering the Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Tinted Colour, I phoned and spoke to a very helpful staff member who assured me the Farrow & Ball Colour would be a good match to the original paint colour (Biscuit No 38) as it was important to us for our radiator.......and to be fair to him he did give me a courtesy call back once he'd mixed it to say it looked like the F&B colour chart. However, disappointingly the colour was nothing like the Farrow & Ball colour we ordered and so it's ended up been a very costly waste of money at £53.08. - Needless to say we could not trust this mixing service again from Painters World.

Ordered some high condensation Zinsser paint with a tint comparable to a Dulux colour - arrived very promptly (two days later - not next day but I didn't expect it to be considering I'd ordered the paint to be mixed prior to despatch). Item was packaged in a box for sending with the lid doubly secured for safety in transit. Excellent experience from ordering to receipt of item. Would use again, thank you!

They use DX couriers - they have a 1.4 score on Trust pilot. Don't know if product is good as the product was not delivered. Does not say much about customer care when they use a known poor performing courier

Waited in the office for a second time (04/09) until 7pm - because the courier said delivery could be up to 18.58 and yet again they have not delivered. I have now emailed the courier and painterworld for a second time but no response yet - no doubt they are enjoying a Friday night at home not waiting for a delivery in the office. This was supposed to be a next day delivery!!!!!

I ordered 5L of Sadolin Superdec in a shade I had previously had in a, now discontinued, Sadolin paint.
Delivery was excellent but the paint was a much lighter green than expected. I complained to Painters Direct who stated that it was a different type of paint and was not their fault and refused a return or refund.
I took up the matter with Crown Paints who were most helpful and informed me that my required shade was not offered in Superdec and could not understand how Painters World had mixed it.
Crown set about working out a formula for my shade and supplied the product.

I ordered a custom tinted colour along with other undercoat, it was dispatched within hours and delivered the following day.

Always a slight worry when ordering from somewhere for the first time. I ordered two different 2.5 litres of woodstain. They were sent quickly, arriving the day after dispatch and exactly as expected. A good price and a good result.

2 separate orders placed and both were spot on, delivered very quickly, good comms. and good prices. Couldn't have been any better.

Ordered various paints which were delivered the next day. Prices were the cheapest i could find too. Very happy

I order masonry paint RAL7038 to match my windows.
Paint came and was more of a light grey with blue tint.
I sent a photo to the company and showed them that the paint was a different colour to what I had ordered. I was advised that it wasn’t their paint that was wrong it must be my windows that are not RAL7038 (they definitely are as is the cladding and door that match them and was point at different times from different companies but still manage to match!).
Apparently (according to Jamie) they get this issue a lot with window and door companies.
If you want a paint to match something you already have maybe use another company.

Great turn around from warehouse but poor choice of courier. Not delivered within the promised 24hrs. Sent email to enquire about missing item, no reply.
Don’t use this company if you need your item quick.

Ordered online, ready easy and quick and paint came next working day - smooth process!

Wonderful people. Very knowledgeable. I thought I needed exterior oil-based undercoat and topcoat, but after a chat on the phone, I found out paint has come a long way, and was happy to buy some Zinsser 15 year guaranteed, satin finish, water-based paint, that just needed two coats, and no separate undercoat, saving me lots of money. My painter enjoyed using it, especially the drying time. The finished result looks so good. Happy to recommend 100% 😊 Many thanks!

Given the limited feedback and overall rating that nearly put me off ordering online, I thought this Company deserved more reviews.

I ordered paint before 3pm and it was delivered the next day as stated on their website.

They use FedEx. Not Hermes. Not DPD. A proper delivery Company. Just think about that for a moment. Your product, and even the packaging, turns up pristine.

They have a huge range of colour selection. Far more than other websites I explored. And they were cheaper than Amazon and EBay.

Oh, and I’m not sure what the other reviews mentions about payment difficulties or something. It’s about as simple as straightforward as it gets.

Overall a great Company. I will be using them as my first port of call from here on out. You should to.

Ordered 4 cans of paint yesterday Tuesday 11-10-2022 at 10:30, Delivered today Wednesday 12-10-2022 at 13:30, so definately next day delivery.
cans were packed with retainers top and bottom stopping any movement during transit.

Excellent service and packing

I was a bit worried about buying paint from painters world as 50% of the reviews were poor. But my experience was fine. The price was great, they mixed paint accurately to the colour I wanted and the free delivery was quick. The paint was very securely packed to avoid spillages.

When I returned some of the unused paint (not the mixed to order paint) I didn't get a refund straightaway but when I messaged them they replied within an hour, apologised and refunded me quickly.
Its definitely best to message them rather than email if you have any queries, as you get a fast response.

-i tried a few times placing an order online, clicked make payment but did not work.
- i called them and i ve been suggested to delete caches/cookies or try different device
- i tried different browser, different devices with different internet provider, still did not work
- called them back again, i suggested payment over the phone or sending me a payment link; none of the options available.
- i said this is so unprofessional. they hung up straight.
- furthermore, if you want to add for ex 48 items in the basket, you had to click + until getting to quantity requested.
- i had the codes for the products i needed, when inserted on the search bar - "no product found" , so you have to know the description of eah product...disappointing

Good quality paint at a brilliant price and fast delivery time too. Very pleased, will definitely order from this company again.

Email said paint had been dispatched 1st June. It is now 3rd June and no sign of delivery or any updates.
I specifically bought paint from here because they advertised free next Day delivery.
There is no way to track the process of delivery nor did they provide an estimate of when paint would arrive.
It's holding up a job that needs done asap and as a self employed painter I'm very annoyed with their lack of communication except for an invoice.
