Worst Service, Unprofessional, Unethical
This was the worst experience I have had with any logistics company. Have worked in arts and culture for nearly 20 years and have never experienced such level of unprofessionalism. After being told misinformation, was not informed about any penalties if my items were not ready for collection and then was informed I had to pay the full amount as a penalty for late collection, then was told they "negotiated" the amount down to half. Then was lied to about the fees, and was not accurately informed about customs amounts (knowing I should not have to pay VAT on my products being shipped). Ultimately I had to cancel my shipment with them as I lost all trust in their ability and was worried they would hold my items. Then was informed I had to pay the full amount for cancellation. I tried to find a reasonable and amicable way forward that would pay for their time spent but would acknowledge their unprofessionalism that they ultimately breached their contract with me. I sought legal advice as this was a charity project and laid out my situation on an email to which they never responded. Months later I received letters stating they had taken me to court and that as I had not received the letters I was not able to represent myself and had to pay over the amount. I would never wish this experience on anyone.
