Poorest service
For an advanced country such as beautiful Norway, it’s disappointing to find their postal services so lacking. Don’t use AI without human oversight.
Had a delivery scheduled to the mailbox…
Had a delivery scheduled to the mailbox and marked "if doesn't fit the mailbox - deliver to the door". Apparently, the door was difficult to find and they sent it to the pick up location, which is again days of waiting. And who knows if I have to pay for it.
Might have to shut down my online store due to Posten bug yet they refuse to help.
I’m dealing with a major issue in Posten’s tracking system that shows packages as “delivered” even when they’re not. This has created serious problems for my online store, with many unhappy customers and the risk of having to shut down completely.
I’ve tried everything to get help — contacting support multiple times, asking them to escalate the issue — but nothing happens. Posten refuses to take responsibility or provide any real assistance.
I’ve shipped hundreds of packages worth tens of thousands of kroner through their service, yet they DGAF. It’s super disappointing to see such a lack of accountability and willingness to help.
Missing the address and being late even…
Missing the address and being late even after talking with their customer service which is useless… rarely good experience with them
Ask seller another post service. DO NOT USE POSTEN
DON'T USE POSTEN !
USE HELTHJEM ! I received a package in ~15 days China to Tromsø, no import fees for a 180$ package from a NON-VOEC seller ! No double VAT taxation !
Being a foreigner, I am certain that this postal service is among the worst in the world.
I can get a package from China to France in 8 days from AliExpress.
It takes me a month to get a package from Russia (during the WAR and political sanctions) to France, even though it traveled across more than 6000km by road.
But here in Norway, if you're lucky enough to receive your package, it takes ~20 days and then you get double taxed on VAT even from VOEC seller sometimes.
Shame
Shame. They were on next street regarding to live tracking map and they didn’t delivered my package which I was waiting to have my shoes by them and use it immediately in next one hour in my training. They wrote this message to their tracking screen. “Vi kunne ikke levere sendingen din
Dessverre traff vi ingen hjemme som kunne ta den imot.
Hva skjer nå?
Pakken blir videresendt til ditt lokale hentested i løpet av neste virkedag. Du får en ny melding når den er klar til henting.”
There was 4 people to pickup the package. If you have eyes and brain you could deliver the package. I’m regret to having delivery service by Posten. Useless corporation.
I do not recommand the norwagen post!
I had to use the norwgen post services and after almost one year I have to declare myself dissapointed. I have lived in many countries, and my far, norweagen post is the worse.
It does not provide a reliable service, the custormer support is non existant and the prices are at all time high. They charge you, then they do not provide the service. This happens again and again and again.
Terrible
Terrible! They clame that the custommer are not home, so they dont have to deliver packages. And when you contact customer service, they are super arrogant and dont belive you. Im in a wheelchair, so I need to get packages delivered. Got absolutely no understanding for this from posten. They didnt care.
Mareritt
I'm a foreign student. I still have no Norwegian telephone number, so I cannot contact their customer service, to try understanding where my international parcel is, since the tracking stopped updating 2 days ago. The parcel arrived in town already 6 days ago. I booked the home delivery, I stayed at home waiting for them. They didn't call me, went away, and from that moment my parcel is nowhere to find. I tried going to post I butikk but wasn't useful at all, they don't know more than what the tracking says. I'm worried for my parcel which contains my belongings, but I can't talk with nobody to express my concerns. Nobody helps.
Package was returned for no good reason…
Package was returned for no good reason after i've been waiting 2 weeks for it to arrive.
I even called 1 week ago and they said it will arrive the next day but it never did.
The Worst
Tried to send a letter abroad - returned after 8(!!!) days
Contacted customer service and did not hear back for 12(!!!) days until I inquired about the case. Got a very unsatisfying answer that they are not able to locate the problem. Inefficiency and bad customer service that is unacceptable!
Still waiting for my package
My husband and I have been waiting for a package from Posten for about a week now. My husband called customer service today, only to find out that the package is delayed because it was initially sent to the wrong place. This information was only given AFTER we took it upon ourselves to contact customer service.
I've also had bad experiences with Posten with regards to the verification of my passport when trying to collect certain items at the post office. I'm a resident and used my passport to gain my residency but apparently that's not good enough for Posten. Ultimately, I usually end up annoyed as hell after dealing with this postal service.
One of the worst post…
One of the worst post "service"providers ever.
I sent a parcel in Italy over 15 days ago and the tracking shows that it is still in Norway !
When I tried to get some more information from"customer service" they couldn't find where the parcel was...
Guys make an effort to do the service better, because people is not going to pay anymore for shipping something with you
Useless
Literally, the worst run and most bureaucratic mess of a service provider, and the perfect example of a Norwegian run enterprise. - a package is sent and arrives from China in 6 days, it takes a further 2 days to get from Oslo to the north of Norway (fair enough) before being ready for collection in a supermarket. Collection is attempted... but wait! The import tax needs to be paid but this particular supermarket/post office doesn’t provide the service to accept those payments, that can only be done at the bigger supermarket /post office 1 km away - what’s that, you want to take it and pay there now? No no, we have to send it.... back to the terminal first, then out to the other shop. This will take 4 days.
- Soo, just to clarify, 6 days from China to Norway and then 4 days for the Norwegian postal service to deliver a parcel 1km up the road.
No one to speak to about it, no one to complain to - just robot-like acceptance is required.
So ridiculous that you couldn’t make it up, and a true story that stands more generally as a good metaphor for life in Norway in a nutshell.
