My Chihuahuas love the taste of it, they’re normaly very picky.
I hope the conditions for breeders will evolve soon, cause the only negative point I can give is about the price. Which isn’t a problem if you have just one dog, but as a breeder, with multiple this becomes quite a thing. 😉

Fantastic product!
Absolutely loved the concept and the important this brand puts to your pet’s healthy. Great array of products, which allows you to choose, based on your dog’s sensitivity. When you open the package, it smells like meat. No artificial or fake smells. My pug loved everything that she tried from Pala. Shared it with my friends as well, because I was so excited about the quality of this product, their dogs loved it equally.

Hi Pala,
I am very supportive of your idea about dog food BUT why don't you make a complete dog food with just one protein source besides chicken? My dog has food allergies and has sensitive stomach and is very picky eater so anything like single protein such as only duck or horse or turkey would be fantastic. You have many of single protein options in treats but not in complete food. I hope you'll do this. My dog and many other dog we know would be absolutely happy with this. Best.

You’re absolutely right that single-protein diets can be very important for dogs with sensitivities or allergies. For Pala, this is more complex than it may appear, because our complete foods are naturally balanced using whole ingredients only – we don’t use synthetic vitamins, minerals, or additives.
To be nutritionally complete and safe for long-term feeding, every required nutrient must be naturally present in the recipe in the right proportions. Achieving this with a single protein source requires very careful formulation and validation, which is why we take our time with it.
That said, single-protein complete recipes beyond chicken are clearly in demand and are part of our long-term roadmap. We want to do this properly, in line with what Pala stands for.

Decline in quality but increase in price
We used Pala Pets for several months but eventually my dog started refusing the food. I have still been buying treats from this brand, but the last bag I got was mouldy inside, despite being sealed and in date. I also had a bag of food turn mouldy shortly after being opened. I know and appreciate that the company uses fresh, simple ingredients without additives, but if I'm paying such a high price, I do expect the product to be safe and last within the "best before" date.
