After reading some great reviews on reddit I decided to give them a go vs my local Turkish barber. I told the person who served me I wanted a short low maintenance hair cut as I'm going for a trip. I wanted it parted just like existing parting. They failed to listen for this request and blended my hair where is very short on the side and slightly longer at the top. I met my friends afterwards where I got told I look very different (not in a good way), I look like a North Korean dictator and one said a pineapple. Luckily I'm not meeting any clients for a few week as I think I need to wear a beanie so it grows back a bit to get another hair cut.

Another thing they failed to listen was aftershave/cologne where I got offered and I said no, but got sprayed on the back anyway. I was wearing my Tom Ford so is annoying when I paid £300 a bottle.

Lastly as I leave where I know is too late to complain (as I don't want to make a scene), I was semi forced to give a Google review. I basically got told to click post before I got let go to pay for the hair cut. I have now deleted the review as it wasn't genuine and I simply just like to leave and assess the damage in a bathroom somewhere else. I won't go back again ever.

Advertised £40 trim. Travelled an hour. Told in person it’s £70 because my hair is “long”, even though I only wanted a basic sides/back tidy. Shop was empty with multiple barbers doing nothing. Zero flexibility, zero transparency. Waste of time.

I went to Pall Mall Barbers for a tidy up and ended up with a military cut. I chose the lady barber based on her profile which said she liked longer on top and nicely tapered below, which was execlty how my hair was before visiting the Liverpool St barber. I said I wanted a scissor cut but she insisted on using clippers and not only is the back and sides really short but she then cut the top much shorter than I wanted. I will never use a barber again - when you tell a good hairdresser that your last cut was 5 weeks ago and you simply want a tidy up they know exactly what to do.

Its probably more expensive than the avg, but you are offered a drink, made feel comfortable, and barbers take their time to make sure you are happy with the cut.

I regret to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of the recent haircut I received at the Oxford Circus branch. While I initially requested a specific style, I trusted Lenny's professional judgment when he recommended an alternative approach. Unfortunately, the outcome was significantly shorter than expected, with some areas left longer on the crown. To be candid, I was not pleased with the result and found it to be quite a departure from my expectations.

I'm genuinely surprised to come across numerous positive reviews about Lenny's services. I did invest a substantial amount for this haircut, and, regrettably, it ranks among the least satisfactory I've experienced.

My wife booked a 45 min cut which includes the usual wash. As soon as I arrived I was thinking about leaving as a) the welcome was non existent but more importantly, the shop is filthy . Against my better judgment, I stayed . I was eventually invited to the seat after a long wait with no one having the decency to acknowledge the delay. I was mumbled at to sit in a chair that the previous client had vacated without any cleansing . The chair and sink were full of hair trimmings . The barber was snorting and sniffing with a stinking cold and said barely a word other than appearing fuming that I wanted a scissor cut. 13 minutes later It was all over . Despite advertising a 45 min cut including a wash I was done . Done being the operative word. When I got home my wife showed me the service I paid for. Had I known at the time, I wouldn’t have paid a penny for the disgraceful service . The cut was unbelievably bad with varying length and stray hairs poking out everywhere . An absolute liberty. Whoever owns this company should be ashamed of themselves . I emailed and asked for my money back but unsurprisingly no one has the courtesy to respond . Best barber of the year . I don’t think so

Used to be good (pre pandemic), now empty and service fallen off a cliff. Subsequently not worth paying premium price for.

Big joke of the company, extremely disrespectful approach to younger clients, very inconsistent sill level among barbers and on top of that dirty shops. I've booked my haircut with one specific barber who was in on the day and finished cutting other client before my time 5minutes before. Instead of than take Mo on the chair he went to back of the store and asked other barber to cut my hair instead - so no point to wait a week for barber you want to go for as it is all up to them in the end and if they feel like it. Of course my hair cut is now ruined as the other one didn't understand simple tidy up and left me shaved for army. Before deciding to go for this company read cerfefully their website and assume it is going to be exact opposite experience.
