I love panda except for

I eat at panda every week sometimes twice a week as well as my sister and her children. The one thing that I do always have problems with at this location is their portion size you pay extra for pretty much everything that they offer is an up charge however, especially when I get the steak I get maybe three pieces of steak and then the rest of it is The rest of it typically peppers, not even the mushrooms. It’s usually just stuffed with peppers so it looks like they put a bunch of meat in it. That is definitely something I have an issue with every time I eat there. However the manager Frankie does always take such good care of any situation that I do have. He definitely is the best manager that I have had to deal with at any fast food location in the area, he is an asset to your company that is for sure.

I WOULD SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER THIS RESTAURANT. I placed an order on feb 16 for a family meal, the driver called me three times, first telling me that he couldn't find parking, so i gave him some advice on where everyone parks (on the street) then telling me he couldn't find the door and told me to come downstairs to get the order in the rain, i told him i was on a call but to give me five minutes and i would come down, then he called me telling me there was an issue with getting in, i asked him "did you read the delivery instructions i entered for the order? it instructs the driver to simply enter my unit number in the call box and i would be able to unlock the door. about 10 seconds after the last phone call i got a notification that the order was "handed to me" while im still getting dressed and hadn't even walked out of the door. So i called doordash becaquse that's who these guys use, and asked them if they could tell me where he left the order as at this point i was downstairs (by the time they answered) and i didn't see it. The driver ended up either leaving the food outside the front door of a 400 unit complex, with a homeless camp accross the street, or he took it and lied and said it was handed to me. Then the rep on the phone calls him and asks him where it is and he tells her he left it at the front door (ourside on the street with a homeless camp 20 feet away) long story short i never got the order, and the kicker? DOORDASH confirmed that he never in fact handed the order to me, she also confirmed that he had just left it outside on the street when it's 40 degrees outiside,despite noting he handed it to me., and so they KNEW i never got my order, she then has me on hold for ten minutes telling me that they system wont let her process a refund and that she wants to call her boss, she ended up calling a special team that said the system wont let them do it, she acknowledged "you should definately be getting a refund but our system wont allow it i dont know why" and that was the end of the road. So i paid 50 dollars for food the company knew we didn't get, and "couldn't refund " because the computer system wouldn't allow it because the driver said he handed it to me. Which he didn't do and she verified it. She told me write this reference number down and maybe my notes can help you BUT NEVER GOT A REFUND 688300547. I will never go here again

Food quality

Panda fills your plate with a lot of rice or chow mien (whether you want it or not) because it's cheap. They also cook with soy oil which contains a lot of omega-6 which causes inflammation and health problems.

Wonderful food and service!

Food was great. I had a dental retainer of $12,000 to be put in 2 days. After leaving I realized I had left it in napkin on table. Went back, employee with gloves on went thru 2 trash cans looking for the l/2 inch toothand retainer!!!45 minutes later she found it!! I would want this young girl work for me anytime. She was stellar! I went back the next day and told the manager what a superior employee she is!

Charged me $17 for a Al a carte box…

Charged me $17 for a Al a carte box when the board said $11 something up charged me and didn’t give me a reason. Also did not tell me what my total was and complained over .26 cents. This place sucks and I wouldn’t recommend them to people. Absolutely disgusted

I order Panda Express on GrubHub(that's…

I order Panda Express on GrubHub(that's another review) but when I finally get my food it's always good, they do forget items on my order sometimes though which is disappointing but I usually like the food, it's fresh and usually hot depending on how long it takes for GrubHub to deliver it but like I said that's another review, I'm happy with Panda Express though, even though they might screw up a order every now and again, I will continue to order from them.

I Went to Panda Express 5410 sliver hill rd Suitland Maryland with my mom to grab lunch around 10:40am and we had to wait for food because employees wasn’t at work yet and the manager was hosting interviews I asked for sweet fire chicken , orange chicken and rice I requested for fresh food because the food quality wasn’t good and the rice was hard my order was messed up it was poor communication with the staff and the employees argued with me about my order telling me she was going by what was written on the box but I was not finishing ordering me being in the military I did not appreciate the disrespect and the service I asked for a manager and all the employees was acting as a manager but couldn’t fix the problem I was not satisfied at all

Not good

We did survey and then returned to 80401 shortly and ordered a $10.60 plate, did not get a free side order as promised and was charged $38.40. This is racketeering.

I would not be giving a 1 star but have too,I went to the store in michigan city lastnight for a family pkg, for a work place order, made the purchase online at 840 ,got text at 906pm was ready went in 910pm and was nit ready, not only was that but there was NO FOOD out and employees just playing around laughing, There was several customers walked in and then went to order but walked out, I HAD already paid wich was 40.00 for the food I was getting, however at 930 pm still waiting,940 still waiting so At 950pm told the ONLY employee who was working and respectful to apologize for the wait, I just need to cancel my order and have my money back on my card, well then he said he can't he asked another girl, well then she says You have to do that yourself on the app,Well NO you can not once it's been paid for and I offered to show this lady my bank account where it came out when I purchased it, however this super girl decided to get rude and so I asked for a store manager, she says iam prettysure she is asleep by now!!! That was enough for me yes I lost my marble too I said what I said but she was the shift manger I believe bc I don't know as she ripped her name tag off and wouldn't tell me who she was, but the boys in store all was following her so I think she was in charge, then I was putting my card away and she walked behind counter telling me to shut the f-up and stop talking to her and so on there wasso much said but then she takes the food from a boy working the only one who was , and throws it down says she dont get any of this I said I did not want it now she said do you hear something??? As she is looking at another employee and they are laughing then as I did not get a store manager name, or anything I did not get my money back as well!!! I will NEVER EVER GO TO THAT LOCATION AGAIN!!! This was traumatic for anyone to have to experience and if that is who they leave in charge then they need better people doing hiring and job training period!!! I am thinking about talking with a lawyer they refused my money lastnight and the stress of that I work for my $ and have kids to support as well and I don't give to charity so I should of just gotten it back either way or a way to get back today period!!

Purchased $30 gift card against a $8 promotion…

I placed an order for $30 gift card and was supposed to get $8 promotional card, which I never did.

I would advise visitors trying to take advantage of promotional offers to be a little careful as the site (giftcards pandaexpress com) design is somewhat deceptive.

I have contacted their support multiple times but never heard back from them.

09/19/24 - Update - It will not be fair to Panda Express if I did not make an update. After multiple emails back and forth, the Panda team did some research and sent me a coupon, valued at more than $8. So, the issue is settled now. I'm also changing my rating from 1 to 2 (not going above this because most likely their software continues to have the same defect).

Gross food!!

I had the beijing beef rice bowl, the most discusting food, the rice super dry, no sauce on the beef and super dry, i had to tear the beef apart to chew it. Gross!!! Never again!!!

Poor to no service

My husband and I went into the restaurant at 4:40 pm on 8/11/24. We stood in front of the area where you place an order for 8-10 minutes and not one person said hello or anything to us. Finally a young man who was an employee came toward us and he was interrupted by a short little woman who had him fill some containers for her. No one ever came to take our order or even say hello. We walked out. Shame on them. We live nearby and have eaten there multiple times but I doubt we will try again. This is not the first time we have felt like if we walk in to order we are 3rd class citizens
