Im over panera all together, they lost my business,I ordered what I always order a mango smoothie add extra syrup,a bowl of cheddar broccoli, they took away several oz of product..both were alot smaller than usual,so I was still hungry..this isnt right at all..why dont they just put a can of air on the menu, because thats what their aiming for..ByeBye Panera ive been a customer for years..not anymore..when I buy something and all of a sudden its smaller..but your still paying the same..thats kinda like theft and deception.

Gift card inactivation

I received a Panera Bread gift card as a Christmas gift. When I attempted to use it, the register indicated the card was inactive. Customer Care later confirmed the card had never been activated at purchase.

Despite acknowledging the activation failure, Panera refused to replace or credit the gift card without the original purchase receipt — which I do not have because the card was a gift. They also declined to escalate the issue or review activation records tied to the card number.

This policy places the full burden of a point-of-sale error on the gift recipient and effectively voids the value of a gift through no fault of the recipient. While the dollar amount is small, the fairness issue is significant and disappointing.

Panera is not a well run company

I loved the food at Panera in 2022 to 23 but now menu is bland and customer service is 1 of the worst. I don't know why they have a points membership because none of the employees ask for your number and if I bring it up they are so annoyed they have to do this extra step. I recently checked my points and discovered I had not been advised when I was at a point to get items for free and they were too lazy to tell me and now it is too late to do it. They also do not respond to e mails. Don't eat here they have the most miserable employees and all their food I realize now is much too high in sodium.
