Damaged box as they don’t use packaging

Ordered an Art box as a gift but was very disappointed to see the corners damaged and a large Royal Mail label stuck to the box, covering the pictures of what is included.
When I queried this I was told that the box itself is the packaging for the contents.
Never ever have I come across this before so just be aware if you’re buying for a gift. I would not have bought it had I seen it on the shelf in a shop. It was reduced but it seems that this is not the reason for no packaging.

Do not subscribe!!!

I signed up in September and got an old box. In October I also got an old box with products inside what is reduced. I wrote on social media and they wrote back it is normal, that your first box is random, so let u know it will be random. But my second box was random too full with products which is on sale, reduced and I actually have 5 of those pens now what I found in the box. I was expecting the October box, not the June one. I just recommend to buy the box you like, instead of signing up! No one takes responsibility for the mistake or answer why I got an old box again. I cancelled the subscription now, because the products are not up to date.

Type A Planning obsessives.

So I originally had a subscription to this and ended it because three months in a row I got planners... and I find them a little useless I prefer jotebooks because not only can you write your plans in them but everything else as well and the structured planners just... didn't get used. Though I admit, the artist, most of the time I liked them and the box contents though too samey a lot of the time had some nice different and useful items in occasionally like metal rulers and scissors. Now when I saw they had a five boxes for £21 deal on I though 'oh, I'll see if they've got over their obsession with planners' - well so glad I quit, 4 out of the 5 boxes had these planners in.. like I you were using a page a day they'd take maybe 2 1/2 months to use so yeah.. a ridiculous amount and as a student I just write my daily plan on a scrap of paper and my need is notebooks. So glad I quit, I mean.. I now have 7 planners and havnt even finished using the first one I got... GUYS CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM- NOT ALL OF US HAVE THE NEED TO PLAN SO MUCH - MIX IT UP A BIT.

Great Products and great company

I use both the papergang monthly stationary subscription, and buy from the ohh dear website. Everything is well packaged and always arrive on time. Excellent customer service and great products. I love receiving my deliveries from them, absolutely amazing company.

Customer Service responds until you cancel your subscription

I like the items in the boxes but since I have too many I decided to cancel it. The last box I paid for is for August which will be sent out by September. Since I will be going on vacation, I requested to have it sent from October instead. I (incorrectly) assumed that their system would automatically handle this. In the last week of October I sent an email asking if it has been sent out already. I have not received any reply and I sent that message 6 days ago. I guess once they see in their system that you’re no longer a customer, they don’t bother replying in a timely manner. They still owe me a box, and I sent them another email yesterday to get updates.

My observation: The customer support was fine if you’re an active customer. When you cancel, say goodbye to good service. :/

Not as good as used to be

I'm fairly new to using Papergang, but so far I really love the items. The quality and variety is great and the price seems reasonable.

Edit: Now been using Papergang for nearly 2 years. Over the past year there seems to be planners every 3 or 4 months. Surely very few people need that many planners, especially as each book easily has enough pages for 4 months.

In addition, they have now removed the option to preview the box. I appreciated this option as ultimately I want to know that I can make use of what is in the box. I get that not everyone wants to preview it but surely that's why it was an OPTION!

There are still odd boxes which I really love, but unfortunately they seem to be running out of ideas.

Papergang, please no more planners this year at least. Notebooks are a great alternative and surely wouldn't take much effort to change from the planners.
