Paragonbamboo 

Bedding came apart after 8 months. Customer services are unhelpful. Pillow cases have no shape. One duvet cover has the zip on the side,the other has it at the bottom. Poor quality and no after sales support.

Sadly didn’t read reviews before ordering the pillow hoping it would be better for my neck. Horrendous. Definitely does not keep its shape and has to be the worst pillow I have ever bought. Ended up ditching it after only a couple of nights. An expensive mistake. Also a couple of hand towels. Ok but wouldn’t say they are amazing. Wouldn’t buy from them again.

I highly doubt this is made of the mechanical process and even bamboo. I have several brands, and by far, this is the least cooling sheets I have, even warmer than cotton and microfibre.

My existing sheets are all cool to the touch, and these are not, not to mention they look like they will develop pile and there’s no sheen typical of all my bamboo sheets.

Customer services were not helpful at all, as I always wash any new clothing or bedding, and they now don’t accept it. This shouldn’t apply to bamboo sheets as they get softer and cooler with washes, and I washed it with totally cold water, even though 20 or 30C is normal for bamboo. But I know bamboo sheets like cold water, and always wash it totally cold with 600 RPM, as I take very good care of all my bamboo fabrics and have years of experience.

Ordered undyed white but they don’t differ from my existing pure whites from other brand.

Definitely not a fan and will test if it is really made with bamboo pulp or just a rayon made with the celulose or even some other wood.

Have a set that I bought years ago that is Rayon (sold as organic bamboo viscose) and is way cooler than the Paragon ones.

Will not buy again, will never endorse and will have to check my entitlements under the Consumer Act, after finding out if this is made with Rayon (no difference of Bamboo Rayon or wood Rayon) 0/5 rating, as nothing is as advertised, not even the colour, and forget the amateur Customer Service!

UPDATE: The seller went into overdrive as soon as they saw my review and subsequent email through PayPal. They THREATENED me with legal action with all sorts of inconsistencies.

In other words, they are trying to bully me into removing the bad review. Here’s 2 statements in 2 different emails the seller sent me, such is the tone and the content of their threats.

“Our products are 100% bamboo. We have been manufacturing bamboo for over 6 years now, and microfibre for over 25 years, so we know what we are doing, and we know the difference”

And

“I would also point out that we do not, and have never, made Microfibre bedding so clearly you have little idea of what you’re talking about”

Also, this is the LEVEL OF THE THREAT

“ Just be very careful, I am more than happy to fight legally for my company and any slander you make will be dealt with vigorously

If you continue to make these accusations you will leave us no alternative than to seek redress through the courts for defamation of
character and slander”

ABSOLUTELY SUREAL WHAT SOME COMPANIES DO TO CREATE FAKE REVIEWS.

I INVITE EVERYONE TO SEE THE RATINGS OF THIS COMPANY IN A COMPETING RETAIL RATINGS, very negative, just like mine.

Their bedding is of very low quality, waste of money. It's so bad I ended up throwing it away because it's impossible to return the product or get even part of your money back.

To add to it, customer service is very defensive and unprofessional, terrible experience all throughout.

Bedding falls apart it's cheap nasty and personally I don't even think it's bamboo!

Sadly, as much as the fabric feels wonderful compared to scratchy cotton, the duvets covers don't fit. Bought a king size duvet cover for our king size duvet and there is so much fabric overhang that when you move in the night, a lot of the fabric stats wrapping around your legs. Irritating!

Over a year or so we have purchased bamboo duvets and duvet covers from Paragonbamboo, now we have fitted sheets and pillow cases. We are hugely impressed with the product and service; following a recent issue with an order, Jack promptly resolved this and replaced the (unused) item. I have recommended them to many friends. The fabric is soft and light and my husband and I both sleep much better with this than we did under our old natural wool duvet and pure linen covers. It is interesting to read some of the other reviews here... duvet covers are best washed inside out to prevent pilling (which occurs on wool, cashmere etc so not an indicator of poor quality in my view), and after a bit of head scratching, I realised the duvet was in the wrong way around accounting for the baggy empty bit of duvet cover. When correct, it fits perfectly because they are made for each other, literally. I only wash with an eco egg and have done so for years so it'll be interesting to see how the pillow cases fare, but our linen ones were often 'naturally' stained from natural skin/hair oils and are now stiff as a board because they are air dried naturally. Bamboo however dries super fast and stays soft! So far this week, we've slept like babies and it's 28 degrees, no fans no air con. Generally, we use and wear a lot of bamboo products and it's a mystery to me why it is not used more widely given low enviro impact vs other natural and nasty fabrics.

Sadly this company sells second rate quality items and refuses to accept so even when presented with it in black and white. The returns policy is non excitant and it was a battle to get them to accept the return which was only done after I contacted Citizens Advice Trading Standards. You may well have better luck but beware.

Bought a duvet & cover & fitted sheets - beautiful, silky & cool BUT… the duvet is so heavy it slumps straight into the bottom of the cover, the sheets slip straight off the bed as soon as you get in, the covers slide off the pillows… it’s a great product but unless you’re a heavy weight wrestler with a penchant for bed making, get some decent cotton stuff and spend the difference on a REALLY good fan x

I have to say I absolutely love my dressing gown, soft and absorbent… just what I wanted. Love the colour too.
But, the material kegs so easily, really disappointing. There are pulls all over it, I don’t even remember catching it !
Has anyone else reported this fault? I tried but no answer

Absolutely rubbish doesnt fit the bed. Too big to account for shrinking so if your not a complete spanner and know how to wash. You get punished for having bedding to big and unfit for use. Save your money just put my £15 asda bedding and fits like a glove. Bottom sheet keeps popping off the mattress everytime u get up. Admit does feel lovely but cant b used due to poor sizing.

Had my bamboo bedding delivered earlier this week, had it on the bed now for a few days and have to say, its brilliant, soooo pleased
Have read a few reviews on here regarding customer service, found them to be extremely helpful
Will be back for more!

I bought a bamboo duvet and looking forward to using it.
I only used it for one night and I found it too heavy compared to my wool duvet. It was not comfortable and to make it worse I did not read the Returns policy so I cannot return it!!!!
I will not buy from them again and do not recommend it.

I bought a king size fitted sheet and after one wash (as per the instructions) it shrunk. I contacted Nick who was slow to respond and he said that their sheets don't shrink, I had to keep chasing him, but he eventually asked me to return it so he could check it. Eventually he came back to me to say "I cannot explain why the sheet no longer fits as it did the first time you tried it on, apart from the fact that there has possibly been a slight shrinkage when washed" despite this admission he has refused to refund me. I have photo's of before and after which I sent to him clearly showing the shrinkage. The products are poor quality as is the customer service.

I bought a dark grey fitted sheet and I'm not that impressed. Like other reviewers, I've noticed weird mystery stains on it after washing; my theory is that the fabric is a bit water-resistant, and so laundry liquid gets trapped in the folds and dries there. Not a great sign of breathability! It's also bobbling after about a month of non-consecutive use. If I had to guess, I'd guess it's made of the cheapest bamboo rayon, because it's much less refined and durable than modal or lyocell.

I tried to leave a review to this effect on their website, but they still haven't posted it. So, if you intend to buy from them, beware that the great reviews on their website are carefully curated.

Ordered a duvet as a gift on 1st January 2021. Six months down the line and I still have no idea where the item is. £240 wasted. Avoid!

Honestly, this is the best bedding I have ever had. Very hard to explain on a review, but the touch of this bedding is amazing. I would 100% recommend this.
The whole experience with Paragon Bamboo is great from the packaging to the 'little stamp of a panda' on the invoice. :-)

Bought from this company many times both bedding and towels and have always been very impressed by the speed of delivery and super quality of the bamboo.

I have now bought every colour of king size fitted sheets.
I even decided to buy one of those soft bamboo sheet for my best friends as I think this is a very thoughtful present.
Paragonbamboo send their item in a lovely bamboo pouch too making it very well presented and a serious company. Very fast delivery in a secure cardboard box.
Any communication with them is answered straightaway too.
