Placed two bedding orders and had multiple faults – two pillow cases (replaced), a fitted sheet with stitching coming apart, and a duvet cover where the zip failed after just over a year.

I'd expect bedding like this to last several years, not fail across multiple items so quickly.

Customer service declined any replacement due to a 6-month policy and offered 15% off instead, which isn't meaningful given the issues.

Disappointing quality and aftercare. Would not purchase again.

I have been a loyal customer for 2 years and I ordered new WHITE sheets to replace my old ones and when they arrived they 1- had a stain in the middle of them like someone had rubbed in boogers and it had dried and left a stain which wouldn’t come out when washed and 2- the sheets feel different to my other ones basically fake, pretty sure this company is some scam china warehouse and they sell the stuff for 150% profit from slave labour. Wouldn’t buy again sheets feel awful and the customer service is terrible, sent proof of everything and got ignored the sheets cost me over £100 and they didn’t care to do anything about it.

I ordered a Paragon summer duvet with a 3-5 tog rating, but it is far heavier than other duvets with the same tog on the market. It does not feel like a true summer duvet at all and does not match expectations for that rating.

When I tried to return it, I discovered that the return address provided on their website cannot be found on the Royal Mail postcode checker. Because the address appears invalid, I have been unable to send the item back despite wanting to return it.

In addition, I was promised a 20% Black Friday discount in writing by two members of the team via email (Steve Dufell and Jack) This discount was never sent, and when I followed up, my messages were ignored and the issue was not addressed.

As a result, I have now raised a dispute case with my bank and successor won the case.

Overall, a frustrating experience — misleading product expectations, unclear return information, and unfulfilled promises. I hope the company improves its customer service and transparency.

Coloured bamboo towels and bedding caused severe skin itchiness despite being washed before use. White items were fine. The company refused a refund despite the products being unusable for me.

After one night grey pillow case has permanent dark oily mark from my head. Can't leave it on display and customer services have since ignored my further communication after suggesting I wash them first, which I already had. The Sheet does feel cooler on top of our higher end memory foam mattress but as grey, marks easily. Avoid the dark colors for this product. Our friends white versions are fine...

I've been using this bedding for more than 2 years now and absolutely love it. I have two complete sets plus pillows and duvet, it's the most comfortable bedding to sleep on, so silky soft, better than silk.
My only complaint would be that the pillow cases could be bigger as the pillows stick out on the ends but I have gotten free ones so now put two on in different directions.

At the end of January 2025, I bought a duvet cover and 2 pillow cases from Paragon Bamboo. The fabric was great quality and has really helped my allergies. The problem was the zip. It is made of cheap plastic, and in a low spin, low temperature wash in early August 2025 the zip broke in such a way that means the slider no longer connects the two sides of the zip. I contacted Paragon Bamboo to find out if there was a known fix for this or if I could get a replacement. That was two weeks ago (26/08/2025).
Edited: It's 26/09/2025 and I still haven't heard back from Paragon Bamboo, but I found a fix! The zip slider doesn't have a number on it, so I didn't know which size to try to replace it with. I ordered several different sizes of metal sliders from Temu. (Other suppliers would also work. Temu was cheap.) These didn't come with sizes written on them either, but the smallest one worked as a replacement (you have to unpick the sewing around the ends of the teeth to be able to slide it on).Based on what I ordered, I believe the size to be a 3. So, there you have it: expensive duvet cover fixed for less than £2. I'm back to being happy with it. But if I give it a review of anything other than 1 star, people won't read this and won't find the fix, so I'm leaving this review at 1 star.

So after using the superking mattress protector for I few weeks, I washed it on a cool setting (after all, it’s a mattress protector, and it needs washing, right?) Turns out they can’t be washed!! Shrunk about 6 inches, contacted the company, who responded saying they can’t be washed! I don’t remember that in large print on the website when I shelled out for one! How utterly ludicrous is that? I’m fuming - can you tell? 🤬😂

We purchased a king-size duvet with bamboo filling. After receiving it, we washed it and dried it naturally outside. However, once dry, it felt clumped around the edges, and the fibres inside made it hard (Not good quality). Upon checking the label, we discovered it was not meant to be washed and should only be spot cleaned.

Who sells a duvet that cannot be washed? Washing a duvet is essential for hygiene. We contacted the company to request a refund, without mentioning that we had already washed it. They responded, stating that their website clearly indicates the duvet should not be washed. We didn’t verify this, as many companies use such disclaimers to avoid liability. However, this does not address the core issue: why sell a bedding item that cannot be washed? It’s absurd. I would not purchase from this company again.

We bought our first bamboo quilt, I suffer from night sweats and reading the reviews I thought I would try this. We have had it a week now and I am sleeping so much better. Initially I thought this was heavy, but it is lovely, feels light on and just wraps around you. It feels wonderful. I am a thorough convert to these.

Ordering was easy and delivery was prompt.
I like the dramatic colours and the sizing of the towels. I have purchased the bath towel size for my grandsons which are an excellent size for complete wrapping up of young boys. The smaller towels and flannels are perfect for drying hair, so much softer than cotton towels.
It’s very difficult to find pure bamboo and I am delighted with the easy care of these towels

Wonderful company, lovely customer service and great products. Shame about the unreliance of the courier. The products are super soft and feel luxurious, they are naturally cooling and I’m pleased to be using earth friendly non toxic bedding.

I placed my order at 1.15pm and it was delivered the following afternoon - it doesn't get better than that! They also provide a free swatch service which is very helpful as you can see the actual colours and feel the fabric before you buy.

Feel's good so far too early to know how it will wear over a period of time but it's soft and feels silky

I bought a bedding set and the sheet, duvet cover and pillow cases are all different colours. It looks like they have all been cut from differently dyed materials. I’m not impressed after paying over £100 for this set. I wouldn’t purchase again. Also was disappointed with the white zip in a navy blue duvet cover, again for the money paid the zip should have been the same colour as the material. I always buy bamboo bed linen and the actual fabric seems good so far.

Bought the bedding set at what I would say an expensive luxury. Having previously had a bamboo sheet from another company who are no longer trading, we thought this was amazing, so searched for others. It arrived and was more silk looking than we'd expected. Having used for 3 weeks, we're having the worst nights sleep ever. It's unbearable to sleep because it's making us so hot. The duvet cover is also quite a bit larger than it should be. All that money for a product we are no longer going to use. To note, we use a Tog 3 duvet and the window is open!

I have reviewed your claim via PayPal, and your email, where you state our bamboo bedding ‘is not fit for purpose’.

We will object to this on the basis that we have been selling bamboo bedding for over 8 years with very very few issues.

There a a few issues with your statement.

You state that a sheet you purchased from another supplier was satisfactory.
There would be very little difference between our sheets and any other 100% bamboo product.

If our products were ‘not fit for purpose’ I’m sure we would have been prosecuted by Trading Standards by now.

You state you have found that the bedding causes you to ‘overheat’, this surely would be more to do with room temperature and Tog rating of your duvet rather than our duvet cover.
A thin duvet cover such as our bamboo duvet cover would not keep you warm, they are not designed to.

Unfortunately as you’ve used the products we cannot offer a return as the items are subject to hygiene standards. Our website clearly states this in our terms and conditions that you agree to when you purchased.

Your 1 star rating left is unsubstantiated and are just your personal point of view.

The claim you have made against us will be vigorously defended, as we have had to before, and won, everytime, with customers such as yourself, who seem to believe that they can demand unacceptable refunds.

It’s a shame that you believe leaving, frankly, an insulting and unsubstantiated rating on a public website such as Trustpilot will help achieve your aims.

You may have obtained a better result if you had called us and discussed this in person rather than hiding behind your keyboard.

However, that is now not an option.
