DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I tried to order timber in January and just couldnt get the order to progress as an email said I had to pay before delivery - contrary to what is said on the website!

Regardless and wanting to progress I sent the money over to them £701.60 and subsequently could not get them to call back no matter how hard I have tried!

Roll forward almost 4 months and dozens of attempts to contact them and still NO ANSWER, NO REFUND and NO TIMBER!

Its a constant user busy response on the phone - I am now going to trading standards and considering paying them a visit!

Had been looking for timber for a while for shed/summerhouse. Had priced up on the website and was far cheaper than anywhere i could find. Went back a couple of weeks later and the website was down which made me question things. Done a bit of Googling and found nothing but bad things which nearly made me just pay the difference elsewhere. However thought to myself what have I got to lose as it’s payment on delivery so if they didn’t show I hadn’t lost out and if they did show and quality was poor I could of just said no. Anyway, ordered on a Tuesday afternoon and was told delivery would be Thursday. Paramount kept me updated via FB messenger and delivery driver contacted me Thursday morning saying he’d be there about 08:45. He contacted me again saying traffic was bad (I believed him, I’m just outside oxford) he arrived bang on 09:00. Timber was spot on and after payment helped unload onto my driveway. Will definitely use again or recommend on my own experience.

Terrible experience with this company! Delivered order wrong, took money and told me they would rectify the issue but disapeared!multiple calls and messages and just ignored, told they would call me back but never did!stuck with a load of timber i dont need and out of pocket, terrible company to deal with

Ordered on a Wednesday, delivered on a Friday. All of the order turned up, and good quality. Need to improve on customer service though. Spent 2 days trying to speak to someone, as I wasn’t sure if my order had been confirmed. I rang numerous times, just to be told “I’d get a call back” which I never did. Then I got text at 21:00 to ask if they could deliver the next day.

Very attractive prices online. Website will state whether items are in stock or not but it seems this is inaccurate.

£400 worth of a £1000 order was failed to be delivered due to stock issues. Driver explained that the office will call on Monday (this was a Friday) but no communication from Paramount.

No solution provided by the phone contact, Facebook messenger or email. It has now been a month with no solution provided by Paramount Timber.

Avoid this company and spend slightly more to get a good and honest service elsewhere.

The prices were brilliant, but they would not speak to me about a delivery date. I received a call from the delivery driver a few days later to say that he was 30 minutes away from the job. I had to rush from another job miles away to receive and pay for the order.

Do not buy from them ! I have ordered some timber and Osb boards. Delivery was quick and the driver was very nice and helpful but it turned out that 9 of 23 boards i have ordered was missing. The driver acknowledged that , said, it was some kind of mistake and promised that I will get them soon. It was cash on delivery and driver insisted I paid for full order so I did. Yes, I know I was stupid but I thought it was legit company. Unfortunately they aren't. There was no word from them about missing boards so I kept calling them just to hear that someone will call me back. Of course no-one ever did. I tried emails, again never any answer. Now it is not even possible to call them any more because all my calls are cut at first ring. I've lost nearly £200 so beaware they are scammers.

I was sceptical at first because of the cheap prices, thinking will it even turn up etc etc.. but OMG!! What great service, cheapest prices but quality of materials are amazing. Great communication and service all round.. would absolutely use paramount in future without question..
