Alan did a great job on our bathroom replacement from start to finish, very pleased with our new bathroom. Nothing was too much effort and overall our expectations have been exceeded. Would definitely recommend Parfit Property Ltd and would certainly call on Alan again.

Alan took 5 weeks to complete a relatively small ensuite refresh in our family home. He ordered all materials after a personal visit. Sadly within 3 months of the work being completed I noticed a leak to the hallway ceiling and a "bobbling" of the shower panels. On contacting Alan he was not interested in this, instead focussing on a final invoice I had missed for the shower panel (£210 out of approx £5k). Considering I paid him half his fee during the installation and the rest within 5 working days of him completing the job, I find it disappointing he was not interested in reviewing and/or rectifying the issue. I repeatedly contacted Alan but to no avail. His advise was simply not to use the shower.

Being concerned the leak was now going to my downstairs toilet, I engaged with another bathroom fitter whom a neighbour had recently used and recommended. On review he confirmed that the shower panels were allowing water into all of them (3), and that the leaks were caused by these. On top of this he confirmed that the sealant was not done correctly (thick enough), and the shower base was fitted too high and the plastic legs would have broken if left much longer.

This plumber completed remediation work which included removing the old panels, the old wall boards (due to water damage) and raising the floor level so the shower base was solid.

Please DO NOT use this company. Alan seems a nice family man, he talks confidently about what needs to be done. Yet his actions belie this approach and he follow up has been terrible.

You will see my from my other reviews that I am always honest and fair.

I am honestly so disappointed with Alan it is unbelievable. I can honestly say the workmanship is so poor I am having to rip my bathrooms out and start again.

Please make sure you read before hiring.

The worst work I have ever seen

The problems were as follows:

Main Bathroom Problems:

Tiles are very uneven and ridiculously raised on the areas you replaced.

Various Tile chips especially in the replaced areas. (i.e sink still has a chipped tiles even though it has been replaced 3 times)

Replaced tiles at the back of the bath rough, scratched wooden plinth and falling apart

Silicone issues need redoing also covering up poorly cut tiles that need replacing

Grout issues

Damage to the bath

Damage to the shower unit (Matt black scratched off screws)

Possible Bath Leak

Previous Toilet Leak that has damaged our kitchen ceiling which has been spray painted and it does not cover the mark and is all over the walls.

A mess made of the walls and damage all around the sink.

Scuffs to the bathroom door.

Poorly screwed holes in the cabinets exposing the wood.

En-suite Bathroom Problems:

Tiles are very uneven and ridiculously raised

Various Tile chips especially in the replaced areas.

Grout is poor and needs fully redoing

Silicone issues need redoing also covering up poorly cut tiles that need replacing and poor previous silicone

Damage to the shower enclosure holes that are exposed.

Damage to shower pan hole and scratches all over

Leak in the shower tray coming through the floor may be the hole that has been siliconed

A very bad mess made of the walls, skirting board ,damage all around shower enclosure ceiling and under sink.

Poorly screwed holes in the cabinets exposing the wood.

All in all you have not provided the service you were paid for at all.

The only solution that I can see is ripping out the bathrooms and starting again which will come at a considerable cost.

I gave Alan three chances to rectify both bathrooms now and he failed to deliver what had been required and caused more damage.

I was very fair with Alan and just wanted my money back that I had paid of £778 even though it was as going to cost over 2 times the amount to rectify.

Alan then agreed to refund me the £778 As I had paid him for half the work on the basis he rectified the problems but never did and only made it worse. He issued me a credit note and then I still have not received this since it was agreed in July and I am currently having to go through a legal battle to resolve.

He cannot be trusted in the slightest. I am still awaiting 2 months since our last correspondence that he is ignoring.

Is such a shame and disappointment and has caused my family great stress and has cost me a fortune.

I would warn everyone against this tradesman as his work is poor and the damage he caused is so careless. Also the worst trait is his morals on how he operates and deals with things. Unfortunately people for me should have morals and integrity.

If Alan would have stood by his word we would not have been in this position.

If I could of attached pictures and emails I would have done as these speak enough to not even write a review.

ALAN DID AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB I am proud to use the shower enclosure which he sourced and fitted for us and sorted the drainage. and would have him back anytime. His workmanship is excellent and he finished everything to high standard and removed all rubbish

I would highly recommend this company.
We had a lovely guy from Parfit Property come to complete work in my kitchen and he done such an excellent job we had him back to complete some work in the bathroom.
He works at a high standard and he's also very clean and tidy and considerate and he cleans up after himself.

A+++ communication from start to finished. Very Professional with highly quality standards. Highly recommend.

We had a new bath tub installed and new taps , Brilliant Job done , they were quick to respond to our first phone call , very reasonable price and no add ons , would recommend

Bath needed resealing as was leaking water causing issues in the room below. Old sealant was removed and cleaned and then resealed! No more leaks and looks like new again!
