Promised refund THREE times - RE: RE: Re: Re: OMNIA Vatican & Rome Card - RPA7124660

If I could give no stars I would. Bought passes for Rome literally right before the pandemic hit. They expire after a year so I waited to see if I'd get the chance to use them and obviously as the pandemic lasted over that year I didn't get to use them to emailed the customer service looking to see what my options were.
I was absolutely delighted to hear I could get a refund so I sent them off to the UK from Ireland as asked and emailed again to let them know they were in transit.
They confirmed a second time i would get my refund once they were received so to let them know when they get delivered.
Two days later they deliver so I emailed again and for a third time they confirmed I would get my refund but to give them two business days to track down the passes with the warehouse.
I've been emailing and now all of a sudden no one will answer me. I'm €600 down plus now postage on top of that and can't believe they kept telling me I would be refunded only to just blatantly ignore all emails after that.
Feels like I've been robbed. I was counting on that money after being promised the refund it's disgraceful.

This company should hang their heads in…

This company should hang their heads in shame!! I've been requesting a refund for our New York trip which was cancelled due to the pandemic. This was our last big family holiday before my Son starts Univ and they are the ONLY company who have not refunded us and have only offered new tickets for dates we cannot go. I cannot go as I am disabled and would be relying on my Husband and Son and so this was our last wee family hurrah. They have asked about 5 times, for invoice and order numbers which I have given them and yet now I'm being ignored. They are an absolute joke, we got all our money back for our New York trip from the Travel Agent so why can't this company do the same?
If there had been an option for no stars I would have chosen that. Cannot afford to be £500 out of pocket. Shame on you 😕

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS! it is a terrible organization that makes money through the suffering of others. I would have gone to NYC with my 72-year-old mother in 2020, but then COVID-19 came and the trip could not go ahead. now we had postponed the journey to May this year, but we are still not allowed into the US. the Leisure Pass Group refuses to refund and they also don't want to provide me with two new passes for Vienna! so we just got robbed of $ 528.00 USD. NEVER deal with these thieves!

Inwouldngive ZERO stars if possible

I would give ZERO stars if possible. Avoid this company and associated GoCity.

We were due to travel from UK to USA in May 20. We purchased 6 New York explorer passes to see 10 attractions.

Due to COVID the holiday was cancelled. We have been refunded by Virgin for the holiday but this company will not refund around £850 because it is outside their 30 refund policy.

Their remedy is an extension until 5th Jan 22 or use it in another city.

The Pandemic has not gone away and it is unreasonable to expect us to use it within this time scale and I purchased New York Passes to visit New York. Not another city.

Now reported to BBB

If I could I would give no star at all - stay away!

If I could I would give no star at all. We are a family (4 person) and went to Rome 1 weeks ago and purchased 4 Go City Explorer passes for total 456 Euro. At none of the attractions (colloseum, vatican, st. peter cathedral, Forum Roma or HiBike) the passes have been accepted or we had a fast line. Nobody knew this pass or company, so I had to stay in line and buy new passes for every attraction. I have writen and e-mail asked for refund, no answer. Stay away!

Horrible heartless company

I have been trying to contact someone since July 21 to request a refund. It has taken almost 2 months to receive a response from management, which was the same generic response sent over and over again. Your lack of customer service support is absolutely atrocious. I will be sure to let all who travel know how horrible your customer service is during these trying time.

As I have noted multiple times my passes for my trip that was to take place Aug 8-16 we’re purchase Feb,13. This was long before any COVID-19 precautions were in effect. We had full intentions to travel this summer so no, I did not request a refund within the 30 days (March 13) because there was no need to do so at that time. Our trip was not cancelled by choice, it was cancelled because your country closed entrance by US citizens in July. I should not be penalized and lose money because of a global pandemic. All other non refundable purchases were refunded with no issue (airfare, hotel, theater passes etc).

As I have also explained I am now pregnant and we will not be able to travel within the 2 year allotted time (Feb 2022) because the money we spent on the trip will now be going to hospital bills. We would love to eventually visit London, but unfortunately it will not be for several more years. We had full intentions of repurchasing the London pass when we were able to travel again, but after this horrible customer service experience we will not work with you again and will be sure to let everyone know how unprofessional and unhelpful you have been during this time.

Caveat Emptor!

Caveat Emptor!
Couple of points:

1. If you purchased a London Pass and were affected by the COVID travel restrictions and or shutdown - you will not be issued a refund unless you let the London Pass group know within 30 days of purchase.
2. Attractions are still closed - so the full list isn't available even-though the website shows the full listing.
3. Because of the ongoing COVID conditions in the USA and other parts of the world the options of transitioning to another city isn't a good option especially when you factor in the GBP to USD conversion rates!
4. If you feel like this is a scam - it sure seems like the London Pass is a scam - maybe a class action lawsuit maybe more appropriate from all us the affected travelers. Everyone else seemed to work with their customers except for the City Pass Group!
5. Don't fight the London Pass with your credit card company - they won't help because of the 30 day refund policy. Even the credit card company could not help because they goods were delivered and the 30 day refund policy was published on the website.
6. Two year extension on a pass? All the travel websites, US health agencies and world health agencies say travel won't return in two years!
7. My wife and I had worked for six months to get our business trips to sync and get the school to release our children without penalty. Now, my London trip has been completed with a virtual meeting and my wife's trip has been permanently cancelled. Absolutely no hope for returning to London!

*** DO NOT BUY *** Do not give the London Pass any of your hard earned money unless you can guarantee that everything they offer is open and you know you are going to be using the pass that very day as things are changing so fast you are taking all the risks with purchasing a pass as refunds do not apply to the London Pass Group!

Leisure Pass Group is the owner of Go City San Diego

Leisure Pass Group is the owner of Go City San Diego. We had to cancel our trip due to the corona virus and Go City is refusing to reimburse our money. The reason is, they said, because it was after the 30 days cancellation period. Well, since the city was basically shut down, what choice did we have. Sure, they offered to extend the tickets for 2 years, but we will never use them in the next 2 years. This was a 40th anniversary trip. What Go city is doing is illegal. They take advantage of a world wide pandemic to cheat people out of their money. Leisure Pass should take the high road here and force GoCity to refund people's money. I would never use either Leisure Pass,or Gocity ever again.
