Refunds denied!!!
This is the email I got when I requested a refund for an item that I wanted to return:
Thank you for your message and we appreciate your patience.
We understand that sometimes a product may not be exactly what you hoped for. However, international returns are extremely complex, involving high shipping costs, lengthy customs procedures, potential import/export fees, and extended waiting times – sometimes several weeks – before we can even process the return and issue a refund.
To save you time, money, and unnecessary stress, we have prepared three much simpler and faster alternatives:
Option 1: Replacement Item (9.95 processing fee per item)
We can send you a brand new item of equal value or a replacement item – either in a different size or color. This is the quickest and most efficient solution, allowing you to receive a new product without the hassle of international shipping, customs clearance, or delays.
Option 2: Store Credit (50% of item value)
If you prefer, you can receive 50% of the item’s value as store credit, which you can use toward any product in our store at your convenience.
Option 3: Partial Refund (10% of item value)
You can opt for a partial refund of 10% back to your original payment method.
Most of our customers choose the replacement option because:
It avoids the hassle, risk, and uncertainty of international returns.
The 9.95 flat fee per item is minimal compared to the cost, time, and paperwork involved in shipping a return overseas.
You still receive a brand new item of your choice without delay.
Given the complexity and potential costs of returning the item internationally, we strongly recommend the replacement option as the most practical and stress-free solution.
