Parking pass error

I ordered parking in advance, but the parking pass got an error when i arrived saying that there is no record of my purchase despite the parking pass being connected to my receipt. Ultimately i had to pay for parking twice.

So when I arrived with the QR code to get in as given by the instructions, there was an attendant there who said no use it on the way out just take a ticket. Well it was not correct and the only way out was to pay an additional 30 dollars to get out - very mad after a long day biking in the race. I would like very much if it’s possible to get a refund for that additional 30 dollars please

I paid for a parking reservation in…

I paid for a parking reservation in advance and got a link to a QR code that did not work. Called and service people were rude and un helpful. Ended up pay twice (had to pay again when I got to the garage). I will not use them again. Terrible service!

On the 5 Boro Bike Tour Day Empire Outlets was a mess and the pre-parking experience wasn't much better.

I used Parking. com to pre-pay for parking at the Empire Outlets in Staten Island on May 4th-the morning of the 5 Boro Bike Tour. I prepaid, but the QR code never showed up, so I had to call CS. I was directed to try again, and the QR code didn't show up the 2nd time. I called CS again, and was told that the order number would suffice. And it did, but a scannable QR code would have been more efficient than calling to give the purchase order number to an attendant by intercom. It slowed the exit process.
The entrance situation on May 4th was even worse. We were directed into the first entrance, but we soon learned that there were hardly any spaces left. We got one of the last 2 spaces available. There were also many cars behind us trying to turn around in the tight, full garage. The parking attendant admitted way too many cars for the spaces available. It was a mess!

I was never sent a QR code to use in…

I was never sent a QR code to use in the parking garage that this pass was purchased for . The attendant told me I would need to contact their parking service on the way out of the garage provide my parking.com confirmation number. When I did that , The parking lot for which I purchased this parking pass refused to honor the pass because I had not scanned a QR code on my way in. I explained that I was never sent a QR code and they told me they have no official affiliation with parking.com and so I would have to pay the full amount again. So I double paid for parking. I would like a refund of my original purchase and I will be speaking to my bank to contest the charge.

Absolute nightmare

absolute nightmare! Parking.com charged my credit card for prepaid parking, but somehow could not produce a QR code that I could show. Was then told to just take a ticket and they would accept my confirmation code when leaving. That did not happen, ended up having to pay to get out of the lot.

We are from out of state and used the…

We are from out of state and used the parking deck at the Staten Island ferry for the New York bike tour that took place on May 4, 2025. Reserving the parking space was extremely easy. We did it online and months prior to the event. On the day of the event, our QR code scanned flawlessly at the entrance and parking was very convenient and easy. This was our second time using the parking facilities and both times are extremely satisfying.

I reserved the spot and the receipt…

I reserved the spot and the receipt with the link did not work. I printed off the QR code which did not work and I called customer service with I had to leave a voice mail and no response. Overall you failed me at every point of the process.

I purchased a pre-paid voucher that did not work

I purchased a pre-paid voucher for a bike event. the QR code didn't download on my phone as per the instructions. I spoke to person at gate upon entering, who said there will not be a problem and to use call button to retrieve reservation when exiting. There was ONE exit with a line of about 60 cars, honking and waiting to exit as a lot of people had to call because the codes didn't work. Very poorly managed, literally took us 45 minutes to exit facility after having to pay full price to get the gate to open. I called and did get a refund authorized, but it was a real problem trying to exit after the event. The gates should have been all opened in the "up" position to let all cars exit quickly, especially after a full day of biking. They made enough money off all the pre-paid vouchers that mostly did not work! Never again-will park somewhere else next time!

I paid at work 10.99

I paid at work 10.99. Then I had to pay again at the gate because there was no one anywhere to ask what to do with the bar code I scanned on to my phone. Not a single employee anywhere.

I booked and paid for the parking online. When I arrived, their website and QR code didn’t work. Since there was no one available to help me with the issue, I had to pay again — so I ended up paying twice

I purchased a parking pass for Staten…

I purchased a parking pass for Staten Island. When I click on the receipt to view the pass it did not come up. I made 5 phones call for assistance no one returned my call. I have a receipt and the card was charged. I had to make another reservation. Very disappointed !!
