Will never park at Hudson Point again
Inserted cc on way in. All good. Went to retrieve car. Door locked. Garage door closed. QR code on door wants cc. I’m a single woman with my cc out trying to get access to garage. Unsafe! Luckily a car entered so garage door opened. Tried using same cc to exit, machine didn’t work. Had to call for assistance. That person was awesome but overall experience was awful.
Hard to find, hard to get in garage
The parking lot address was not posted in the alley where the lot was located nor were there any indications that this was the parking.com lot. Also nobody answered the phone number printed on the email. The email instructions were not clear. (They should have said,"Pull up to garage door which will open after it reads your license place. Then use phone and QR code to raise the lift gate and park on first floor in guest parking." If I'd known all this, it would have been a great experience. I'm not from the area and rarely park in paid garages so didn't know all the ins and outs - although now I do.
Showed up and there was no where to…
Showed up and there was no where to scan the QR code provided in the confirmation email. No human attendant at this garage, but I used the help button and the person speaking through the intercom didn’t know why it wasn’t working. After troubleshooting for 10 min, ended up just using my credit card to enter. The reservation confirmation said to park in the “guest parking area”, but there was no area marked guest parking, so I parked all the way up on the top floor in the only non-numbered spot I could find. Called the number on the confirmation email and they agreed to refund me for the original reservation, but then when they found out the reservation was in NJ/NY they said there is a different number to call for that and they couldn’t answer any questions or help any further. I let them know that this number was the only contact info on the reservation. Overall this was a 2 out of 10 experience. This seems like a sketchy and poorly managed operation.
Nothing works!
Gave them 2 chances. 1st time I couldn't get back to my car, couldn't get out of the garage with my car and pay with the link their customer service gave me. 2nd time I figured out how to get back to my car, but the other problems remained. They put the burden on the customer to select the one correct way of doing things from 3 contradicting ways displayed on their instructions. Frustration guranteed! If you are an iPhone person (one click and it just works), forget it!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND
Garage door closed on my car and dented my bumper. The Q/R code wouldn't work to open door so I needed to wait for another patron so I could retrieve my car. No customer service number to call for assistance or file a claim to fix my car. Will never use a parking.com garage again.

Stuck outside …
All went well until we couldn’t enter the pedestrian entrance to retrieve our car. We could not open the pedestrian door, trying our best to follow the instructions. We got a message that we needed to move the car closer to the gate, which we couldn’t do from the outside.
Finally we begged a neighbor to pull his car closr to the entrance door so it would open and we could walk in and drive our car out the exit gate.

Spots not labeled when I finally got in.
I could not get into the parking area with the scan code. Parking spots were not marked so I had no idea where I was or was not allowed to park. It took me 20 minutes as different people told me I was not to park on the first level then again on the 6th.

The pedestrian entrance lock doesn’t work. When I texted the number I got an error. “Car not detected”. …but my car was IN the garage. And the remote service people were unable to help. I had to flag down a car to trigger the sensor to open the gate.
I would really like to use this garage - please contact me when it’s fixed. !!!
Until then I’ll have to use another garage.
