I pre-paid for my parking

I pre-paid for my parking. I scanned the QR code from the parking voucher multiple times and I kept receiving an error. The only way we could leave the parking garage was to pay again. I sent customer support an email the next day about the situation and it’s been radio silent on the company’s end.

Scam

Ok, where to begin… I bought a parking space the day before a big show in Nashville so I could be certain I had a spot for my car given how many people would be in town. The whole thing seemed sketchy so I tried calling SP+, no answer. Called again the next day - day of the show - because I was slightly panicked that this wasn’t legit, and they answered. The customer service rep assured me the garage read off my license plate so the fact it was asking for a QR code and none was provided wasn’t a big deal. I was also assured my spot would be reserved. As it turns out, when I arrived at the show, there was plenty of parking and I didn’t even need to reserve this space. I’m getting off track… the main issue is that when I went to leave, the attendant wouldn’t validate my pre-paid ticket and recommended I just go ahead and pay the fee and ask for a refund on my pre-purchase. He said because there was no QR code to scan there was nothing to be done. Wow. They wanted me to pay twice. Be extra cautious using this service. If anything seems off, it probably is. I tried to cover my bases and still failed. Not using SP+ again. Scam
