$875 return fee for defective product
Purchased a $5,500 product from ParkIt360.ca that arrived broken. They sent a replacement motor, which I installed. It still didn’t work, and after sending them a video, they sent me a list of other items to replace. I did not want to rebuild a machine for which I paid $5,500. When I contacted them about a return, they refused to accept it without charging an $875 fee (15% of the purchase price) — despite not disputing that the damage was a manufacturer’s defect. Their return policy allowing this fee is not disclosed at checkout or in any prominent location; it’s buried elsewhere on their site. I would recommend never purchasing their products, since by their own admission a defective product doesn’t entitle you to a full refund or free return.
