12 working days and no rivet nuts !!!

Ordered 1000 rivet nuts on the 3rd March, as expected not all in stock but paid for next day delivery even that failed and 200 turned up on the 5th. (should of been on the 4th) Emailed to inform them that I didn't get next day delivery which was ignored. Now 12 WORKING DAYS later (delivery as per the invoice was 5 to 7 working days) no reply to email and no balance of 800 rivet nuts. Thanks Part-On yet again you let us down and we really need to buy elsewhere in future.

Avoid

Avoid – Unprofessional and Untrustworthy Customer Service

Sadly, I have had a terrible and entirely avoidable experience dealing with Part-On Ltd. I should have checked the reviews first.

The item I ordered arrived damaged, so I immediately contacted Part-On to request a replacement and to confirm the return process for the faulty item. Instead of providing a straightforward resolution, I was fobbed off for two weeks, with them insisting they had already dealt with the situation. Their "solution"? Use a rubber to remove a dent in an aluminium profile.

After repeatedly explaining that this was not an acceptable fix, the Managing Director finally stepped in and asked me to return the part. However, instead of resolving the issue professionally, he became argumentative and stated:

"Given the circumstances, including the delayed packaging evidence, we may consider meeting halfway rather than issuing a full reimbursement."

This was outrageous, considering I had reported the damage immediately upon delivery. At no point was I asked for further evidence, which I would have gladly provided if requested. They now had both my money and the returned item, which I sent back at my own expense in good faith.

Timeline of Events:
28/01/25 – Order placed
04/03/25 – Item delivered damaged; issue reported immediately.
20/03/25 – Finally asked to return the item after two weeks of delay.
03/04/25 – Received only a partial refund (67% of the total cost), four weeks after reporting the issue.

In the end, I am out of pocket through no fault of my own—except for trusting that Part-On was a reputable company to deal with.

Maybe they are fine when everything goes to plan, but the true test of a company is how it handles problems—and Part-On fails miserably.

What should have been a simple courier damage claim turned into a month of delays and frustration.

I ordered the same part elsewhere, and it arrived within 24 hours, well-packaged, and undamaged—exactly how it should have been in the first place.

Save yourself the hassle and buy from a company that values its customers.

I will never use them again and would never recommend this company.

1/5 – AVOID.
