WHERE IS MY ORDER - WHO DO I ASK?

At partselect.ca, I ordered an "in stock" part for my oven on Aug 13th. Delivery within 3 - 5 business days, it says. After 10 days I started calling and sending muliple email messages to them to check on my order. The phone message states they have no one to take my call. The only other option is to message their customer service email. I did that and got a message back asking me to re-send my message to their inquiries@ address. I did this twice and got no response! I have had no working oven since before August 13th. today, Sep 7th, I cancelled the order and reordered from a competitor.

Poor shipping containers/protection and no support

Ordered 2 parts for a clothes washing machine. They were shipped separately, one had a box and padding the other came in an envelope with no padding. The thin piece in the envelope arrived with a crack and after looking to the "support page" there is no clear path forward.

Shipping a fairly fragile part with no protection and no recourse for damage is ridiculous.

They make you pay for shipping of defective parts

Purchased a replacement gasket for my fridge door (5yrs old). The new one came and looked great but didn't even last 3mo before it suffered the same fate that took the original one 4-5years.

Contacted Support and now I am: 1) paying more for the replacement than the first order, 2) paying for shipping for the replacement order.

This will be my last time ordering from Partselect.

I received the product in a damaged…

I received the product in a damaged package which probably was in the war zone, therefore I couldn't accepted, so I started to communicate with customer service and after total silence (few days) I decided to call. The agents were really out of the planet (I think Uranus), therefore I requested to talk to a supervisor who finally explained the return/refund process. Their policy is to hold the product with you for 30 days (!!!) and get refunded within 5-10 business days. Anyway is a weird process and definitely was the first and last order from them. Not impressed with this company.

Nonexistent Customer Service

This company appears to have no customer service whatsoever! Paid extra for shipping to get it quicker through Purolator but it was shipped via Canada Post. No explanation, no communication and so far no refund of the extra shipping costs. The very least they can do is have someone who can answer simple questions instead of having automated emails that reply to you with no relevant information to anything that I asked them.

Bad refund policy

Whilst the product showed up on time and was the correct order. I realized it was not the part I needed. So proceeded with the refund procedure. Did everything according to their policy and the item was in perfect condition upon return. But my refund was rejected due to the fact that I had installed it... I went to test the part and realized it was something else entirely that was the issue, so the item had not been used at all.

Order a part for one of my customer fridge in November
they canceled the order 2 weeks latet with no notice the only reason I found out was I called to check the status of the order. Re-ordered the part they said it will arrive in Utah on Jan 6th and be at my office around Jan9th. NOTHING ARRIVED
I called to check order status and now its back ordered and the rep on the phone was arguing with me and was so unprofessional if have no idea how you stay in business,,,,,,,,,,,DO NOT USE THEM GO ELSEWHERE THEY ARE NOTHING BUT LIARS

Was quoted a 3 day wait

Was quoted a 3 day wait, after a Week I called to see if the part was in or if there was an issue with the order, I was assured it would be there the following week, it was not even ordered from the manufacturer. I’ll never use this sight again and recommend you find an alternative solution.

Should have read reviews here first. Ordered middle rack for my stove. Put in my model number and double confirmed the number on manufacturers website as well. Still didn’t fit. Called company they told me on two different calls I didn’t put in my stove model number in order, when yes I did, after 5 seconds of actual effort they found that yea I did. Confirm the right number was shipped. Finally gave me return authorization, no paid return, finally with some badgering they refunded my original shipping costs, which does nothing because it cost me 4 times that amount to ship it back, because they wanted product returned in original packaging. So after paying almost half the cost of product that was wrong to ship it back I still have no part for my stove and out almost $60 in shipping? Brutal service on the first call the guy was so checked out, second call was at least marginally better. Don’t buy from this place.

Zero communication.
Waited for a month for my part and it did not arrive.
Found the part on Amazon cheaper and delivered in 2 days.
I'm mad at myself for waiting
Do not order from here. Take your hard earned dollars somewhere else

Terrible communication and transparency

They have some of the worst communication I have ever seen Would not ever order from them again. If ordering from them just be prepared for the item to never arrive or you call and they tell you your part is only a day away from arriving, which it isn't. The amount of time this business has wasted of mine giving me the run around is worth this review and warning to others. In short, I ordered a part that was advertised to arrive in 3-5 days. Turns out the part was backordered and I was never given notice. When the part didn't arrive 8 days later I inquired. I was told the part was going to be in the following day and shipped. Never was. Called again and was told the part was now going to ship 5 days later. Fool me once shame on me. Fool me twice... Would never order from them simply because of their communication and transparency. There are other options out there.

Ordered a part Feb

Ordered a part Feb. 8. It has not arrived and this is 20 days later. Have not been able to contact the company. PayPal charged my account and they have not been of any help at all. I am out my money with no part.
