This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! I will never deal with this company again! And I will make sure to tell everybody to never deal with this company because they suck and their customer service sucks and their returns sucks and their delivery sucks everything about this company sucks!!!!!!!!!

Do not purchase
I spent 60€ on Halloween outfit, after purchase I opened a pack and found items were missing. They refused to give return. 60€ in the bin

I am extremely dissapointed with the service from this company. I am awaiting 9 days now for my item to be delivered. I have emailed the company and have not had any reply as of yet. I will not be purchasing from this company again and I most certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

The worst experience and treatment I've ever experienced in almost 68 years. I went today to buy my 3 yr old grandson a halloween decoration. I was greeted by security who said "You have to have a mask on". I stated. " I'm medically exempt". She proceeded to demand my proof. I stated " I do not have to provide that. It is between me and me physician" She said "Ok". So far so good. I picked up the item I went for. She stood nearby me the entire time, watching as if I was a criminal. I proceeded to the check-out. As I did, she brought a young man over. He did not identify himself, nor his position in the store. He became quite rude and verbally aggressive, Demanding loudly for me to put on a mask. I re-iterated to him that I am medically exempt. He said " I had to prove it" I said "not according to the bylaw" He told me " You don't know what your talking about", loud enough for anyone in the store to hear. I again said " it's between me and my doctor". He Told me to leave the store, pointing to the door...but of course waited until I paid.
I went out to the car and looked up the bylaw. I took it back in to show him. He came over walking angrily, almost stomping. I said "I brought the bylaw in to show you". He refused to look at it. Pointed to the door and said "Get out". I asked his name. "Brannon". As I was leaving he said." Get out of the store and get off the property. The exit is over there" , pointing towards it. I swore at him.
I have NEVER been treated this rudely by Anyone Ever in my almost 68 years on this Earth and definitely Never in the past almost 2 years. In ANY other store, bank or business of any sort, when I said I was medically exempt, I was given NO problems.
I left the location, called the head office and placed a formal complaint. The girl was very upset at how I had been treated. She agreed there was NO excuse for how he treated me.
I guarantee that if they ask him, He Will Lie. If this comes to an unsatisfactory resolve to my liking, I will contact a lawyer.
I will NEVER IN Any lifetime shop at Party City and since they are affiliated with Canadian Tire, it is very doubtful that I will shop there either.

Whatever you do do not buy a Halloween costume at Party City I bought it an hour later I went back to return it and they did not want to give me my money back.. The b
est place to go they fully refund your money as spirits..

I ordered some balloons and paid for delivery about a month before my events. I checked the store in person one week before the event to confirm. They told me everything is fine and my balloons will be delivered at 11:00 am on the date of event. The party was starting at 12:00 pm and the balloons arrived by Uber at 2:00 pm. I called the store several times and they were telling me the Uber hasn’t arrived. I would never trust party city for delivery. I don’t care if that was Uber’s fault. It was party city’s responsibility to deliver my stuff at the right time. :(

Utter rubbish, waste of time. At the time where China Malls are all over, you would think that such a place would appreciate customer support. Please don't waste your time here, look elsewhere

There’s plenty of staff but somehow they’re always looking the other way. Over priced merchandise. Filthy store.

Brutal quality and way overpriced.
I order a pennywise mask that arrived in bits. The hair was matted and the mask was bent out of shape.
I expected it to be like the picture considering they raised the price from €86.99 to €92.99.
It’s not worth the money. I have since found another Irish site that sell the same costumes for literally half the price (including the exact same pennywise mask)!!

I placed an order online for a fog machine, but one day later they emailed me and said my order was canceled because the item is out of stock. I just checked their website and the item is still listed as available and in stock!

They need to update their website when items go out of stock, people shouldn’t be able to order an item that’s out of stock.

I ordered a Saw Halloween inflatable decoration and could tell it had been previously opened before. The box was damaged/taped up, and the inflatable didn’t turn on at all. If you are going to ship returned items as if they are new at least test them to see if they work.

Party City used to be the "go-to" for party supplies. That is no longer the case. USE CAUTION before ordering online. I was significantly overcharged on my online order. I have called at least 5 times in attempt to get the overcharge refunded. Each time I was told the refund was issued and I needed to "give it more time". It has been over 6 weeks and there is still no refund on my cc. I have requested to speak with a supervisor three times and was told each time that I would be called later that day. I have never received a call from anyone at Party City. I've seen several other reviews expressing similar experiences. If you want to lose money with no recourse or accountability, go ahead and order with Party City. Otherwise, stick with a more reputable site - this one is too risky!

I was charged twice for an online order. I called the store and the customer service line each multiple times, and was always told they would do something about giving me a refund, but never did. It is now a month and a half later from when I made the first call, and it appears that Party City has no intention of resolving this issue.

I ordered balloons they said they could have them delivered the guy was very late and he lost some of my balloons I called the store they were really rude to me they said they were replaced two of them I asked him as a courtesy would they blow up two or three of my other balloons they said no it's not their fault the guy lost the balloons. How do you offer a delivery service and say if they lose your balloons it's your fault

I spent $70 online to deliver some balloons to a local Starbucks for their stellar support of the community during COVID. The email said the balloons would be delivered between 2-4 today. It's now 430 and no delivery. When I call the local store, after being on hold for 15 minutes, I'm told to call corporate. When I call corporate, they say they have no record of my delivery that I should look up the order number and call that store. I ask for a manager and am refused. I look up my order and its the same number as corporate, the number I just called. I have wasted close to an hour on this issue with no answers. Never buy from the company.

I came into party city to get one balloon blown up and they told me it was going to be over an hour wait. It’s literally one ballon. Horrible customer service. It would have taken 30 secs to blow up the balloon.

The dollar store is not selling birthday items during the covid lockdowns. I went to the party city website and most of their stuff was available for shipping. The prices were a bit more expensive than the dollar store but when you cannot get the things anywhere else, the tiny bit extra was not a big deal. I could not believe how quickly it all arrived! Within two days the stuff was at my door. Very impressed with Party City. Exceeded my expectations.

Im never going to party city again. The manger is very rude to customers. She doent respond very well to cutomers. Also had a short tempered attiude towards me as a customer. I wouldnt recommend going to party city.

For Irish customers: goods are not coming from Ireland so don't expect to receive them on time, even if the nice ppl tell you you will. Although its partycity.IE...the goods are actually coming from the UK! When it finally arrived, the quality of item was not only poor, but the box it came in was squashed so the item was damaged on arrival. There was no bubble wrap or anything to protect the item. Difficult to get through to customer service. I eventually got the money back in my account after a lot of work! Personally, I won't be ordering from this place again.

Poor customer service. Hello my name is Sheila Bailey visited the Party City 1892 Mt.Zion Morrow,Georgia 1 cashier. Two managers no customers in line where they are blowing up Ballons. But where tje cashier is assisting where i am on line 4 customers are more. I asked the young lady is there someone to help assist the cashier you inform me she was a manger. The matter to me is no one should have to ask you to help your cashier it should be given to many people are out of work and in need of a job. Just my thoughts.
