Passive House School Reviews 

I took part in the passive house designer / consultant course organized by Passive House School in January 2021. At the first course I met my two future lecturers, Anton and Svetlin Dobrevski, from whom I had a lot of new and interesting things to learn about this completely new field for me. As a professional trainer, I am an engineer, but in a quite different field than that of passive houses, so for me they were a completely new set of information. Although I had a rather busy schedule at that time and I was not able to be present at all classes, Anton and Svetlin helped me step by step to acquire all the necessary knowledge. I received essential information, very good explanations and I was helped and guided step by step in the process of accumulating new knowledge. In the end, I took the passive house designer / consultant certification exam of the Darmsadt Passive House Institute and I passed with flying colors. Anton and Svetlin are wonderful teachers, warm, extraordinary people and I recommend everyone with confidence to participate in the courses they offer. And one more thing: the money and time allocated is a very small investment compared to the new knowledge, experience and contacts you will gain from this course. Minimum investment and maximum results! Congratulations Anton, congratulations Svetlin! A sincere thank you and keep it up!

Having taken the Certified Passive House Designer online course, the instructors are very knowledgeable of the material.
The course was straight to the point, no time wasted, and well structured.

Svetlin and Anton are very professionnal. They combines theory and practice.

The Certified Passive House Designer Course delivered by Anton and Svetlin through the Passive House School is great & would highly recommend.

The course is highly successful in communicating and providing access to a lot of complex information in a very efficient and manageable way. Expertly delivered, the Passive House School's online resource (being able to revisit the seminars etc) i think actually makes a course such as Passive House a better experience online than in person.

Also particularly valuable is the insight from educators such as Svetlin who have designed and built their own Passive House projects, hearing the real life experience of the concept helps massively with your own understanding.

The seminar groups were small (12 or so) which meant even via Zoom, the seminar discussions and lecturers remained accessible and personal (for questions etc).

I really enjoyed the Certified Passive House Designer online course . I thought it was well planned and layed out, easy for me to follow. All the lectures and presentations were well-planned and coherent. Instructors have great knowledge and excellent disposition.

I liked the course presentation and practical examples, good explanations on thermal bridging and there impact on buildings.

The course was excellent and a good course to learn about the passive house design standard and how it can benefit new buildings and energy retrofits to existig buildings.

The presenters presented the course very well, as the course was attended online from participants from a number of countries.

I am looking forward to putting the learning into practice on upgrading some existing buildings.

I expected a very technical and a bit boring course, but Zvetlin and Anton were amazing in teaching us a lot about Passive Houses in this intensive course.

It was technical but it was not boring, it was entertaining and clear and we felt each day the progress we made.

They not only made sure we understood the concepts, but they took time for us to know how to solve problems and do the exercises. They answered every question, more or less related to the course, which was very nice, besides being very useful.

For anyone taking this class, I would recommend taking a week off because is really intense and needs your focus and energy.

It was great and I totally recommend this course.
The world needs energy efficiency and higher quality in buildings asap.

Having participated in the Introductory Course about the Passive House Standard made me realize how crucial it is to know how to take the knowledge provided by the Passive House School into any building design. From the fundamentals of the building envelope to the economics of Passive house Buildings and from mechanical systems for ventilations to heating and cooling, already at the intro I felt I had accessed key insights to start applying into my designs!
